installation time
The installation time is about 3.0 hours. This may deviate depending on the condition and equipment of the vehicle.

On vehicles without already verbautem bus interface, the installation time will increase by approximately 0.5 hours.

In the specified installation time, the time required for programming / coding is not considered. The clearing of the total costs for the
programming time is when calculating retrofitting costs to loading into account (reimbursement through warranty may not take place).

Important instructions
These installation instructions are establishments primarily for use in the BMW dealership organization and by authorized BMW service.

All work must be performed using the latest BMW repair manuals, circuit diagrams, servicing manuals and work instructions in a rational
order using the prescribed tools (special tools) and observing current safety regulations.

If you experience installation or function problems, debugging to about 0.5 hours for mechanical or 1.0 hour for electrical
work.
To avoid unnecessary extra effort to avoid and reduce costs, send immediately via the Aftersales Assistance Portal (ASAP) a request to
the technical parts support. Please include the following:

- exact problem description,

- already carried out operations.

installation instructions
When laying cables and / or lines, make sure that they are not bent or damaged. Any costs will not be reimbursed by BMW AG.

Additional cables / lines must be secured with cable ties. If the specified PIN chambers are occupied, bridges, double or parallel
connections will need to be performed. All the figures show LHD cars; on RHD cars is accordingly proceed accordingly. After installation,
the retrofit must have the path - conversions - be programmed / coded.

B41 * 1B to separate shown cut position (2). junction A3, Cable
color GN, verlgen to the cutting position (2).

Should not be sufficient cable lengths, cable with adapter

cable e extend. Lines (1) and branch A3 Strip. Cable ends (2)
soldered together and with cable lug I isolate.

5. Concluding work and coding

This retrofit system is programmable / kodierrelevant.

- Reconnect vehicle battery

- Connecting the battery charger to the vehicle

- connecting the vehicle with the ISTA workshop system

- Calling vehicle programming ISTA / P

- the notes ask for the work with ISTA / P in the ISTA / P application documentation note

- Retrofitting "rearview camera" on the path - conversions - select and execute action plan drawn up

- If necessary, perform vehicle testing system by ISTA and ensure that registered the fault memory, if necessary, execute

- Conduct a function test

- assemble the car
