1) Pray that the Holy Spirit will open your mind as you read the
words to a song
2) Take time to see our Father’s love in each chorus,
3) Thank Him and give praise to Him
4) Sing the words quietly to yourself
5) listen for the Holy Spirit to bring words from some of the songs
back to you during the day. What a joy!!!
And Moses prayed, “Father, show me Your glory.” -Exodus 33:18. God
responded by saying, “I will cause all of My goodness (My character) to pass
in front of you.” Vs 19. When Moses saw who God was, he fell to his face and
worshiped.
Prayer: “Our Father, in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done.” (Matthew ????) And now, as I read the words of the songs
your Spirit has inspired, show me Your glory!”

All to Jesus I surrender, All to Him I freely give; I will
ever love and trust Him, In His presence daily live.

made them all. -93

Because He lives I can face tomorrow, Because He lives
all fear is gone; Because I know He holds the future.

Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine! O, what a foretaste of
glory divine! Heir of salvation, purchase of God, Born

Children of the heavenly Father, Safely in His bosom
gather; Nestling bird nor star in heaven, Such a refuge
e’er was given.

Cover with His life, whiter than snow; Fullness of His
life then shall I know; My life of scarlet, my sin and
woe, Cover with His life, whiter than snow.

Day by day and with each passing moment, Strength I
find to meet my trials here; Trusting in my Father’s
wise bestowment, I’ve no cause for worry or for fear.
He whose heart is kind beyond all measure Gives unto
each day what He deems best. Lovingly, its part of
pain and pleasure, Mingling toil with peace and rest.
4
Does Jesus care when my heart is pained, Too deeply
for mirth and song; As the burdens press, and the cares
distress, And the way grows weary and long?
E
Earthly pleasures vainly call me; I would be like Jesus;
Nothing worldly shall enthrall me; I would be like
Jesus. Be like Jesus, this my song, In the home and in
the throng; Be like Jesus, all day long! I would be like
Jesus. -311
F
Face to face with Christ my Savior, Face to face, what
will it be, When with rapture I behold Him, Jesus
Christ, who died for me?
5
Far away in the depths of my spirit tonight, Rolls a
melody sweeter than psalms; In celestial like strains it
unceasingly falls O’er my soul like an infinite calm.
Peace! Peace! Wonderful peace, Coming down from the
Father above; Sweep over my spirit forever, I pray, In
fathomless billows of love. -466
6
For God so loved the world, He gave His only Son, To
die on Calvary’s tree, that day, to set me free. One day,
He’s coming back, What glory that will be, wonderful
His love, to me.
G
In the morning when I rise, In the morning when I rise,
In the morning when I rise, Give me Jesus.
Give me Jesus, Give me Jesus, You can have all this
world, Give me Jesus. -305
God will take care of you, through every day, o’er all
the way; He will take care of you, God will take care of
you. -99

Summer and winter, and spring time and harvest, Sun,
moon, and stars in their courses above, Join will all
nature in manifold witness, To Thy great faithfulness,
mercy and love.
H
Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Thou art the Potter; I am the clay. Mold me and make
me, After thy will, While I am waiting, Yielded and
still.

There is singing up in heaven such as we have never
know, Where the angels sing the praises of the Lamb
upon the throne; their sweet harps are ever tuneful
and their voices always clear, O that we might be more
like them while we serve the Master here!
9
I
I serve a risen Savior, He’s in the world today; I know
that He is living, what ever men may say; I see His
hand of mercy, I hear His voice of cheer, And just the
time I need Him, He’s always near.
10
Jesus! What a Friend for sinners! Jesus! Lover of my
soul; Friends may fail me, foes assail me, He, my
Savior makes me whole.
Hallelujah! What a Savior! Hallelujah! What a friend!
Saving, helping, keeping, loving, He is with me to the
end. -187
K
King of my life, I crown Thee now, Thine shall the
glory be; Lest I forget Thy thorn-crowned brow, Lead
me to Calvary.
Lest I forget Gethsemane; Lest I forget Thine agony;
Lest I forget Thy love for me, Lead me to Calvary. -317
L
What a fellowship, what a joy divine, Leaning on the
everlasting arms; What a blessedness, what a peace is
mine, Leaning on the everlasting arms.
11
Lord Jesus, I long to be perfectly whole; I want Thee
forever to live in my soul; Break down every idol, cast
out every foe; Now wash me and I shall be whiter than
snow. Whiter than snow, yes, whiter than snow; Now
wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. -318

Thou the prayer I make On bended knee. This is my

Thee! More love to Thee.

Sometimes I’m faint and weary, He knows that I am
weak, And as He bids me lean on Him, His help I
gladly seek; He leads me in the paths of light, Beneath
a sunny sky, And so we walk together, my Lord and I.

Not I, but Christ, be honored, loved, exalted; Not I, but
Christ, be seen, be known, be heard; Not I, but Christ, in
every look and action, Not I, but Christ, in every
thought and word.

There is a place of full release, Near to the heart of
God, A place where all is joy and peace, Near to the
heart of God. O Jesus, blest Redeemer, Sent from the
heart of God, Hold us, who wait before Thee, Near to
the heart of God. -495

There is a name I love to hear, I love to sing its worth;
It sounds like music to my ear, The sweetest name on
earth.

On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross, The
emblem of suffering and shame, And I love that old
cross where the dearest and best For a world of lost
sinners was slain.

all creatures here below; Praise Him above, ye
heavenly host; Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost. -694

Redeemed! How I love to proclaim it! Redeemed by the
blood of the Lamb; Redeemed through His infinite
mercy, His child and forever I am.

Son; And when all is overcome, I will be like Jesus.

o’er and o’er! Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus! O for grace to
trust Him more! -524

Under His wings I am safely abiding; Though the night
deepens and tempests are wild, Still I can trust Him; I
know He will keep me; He has redeemed me, and I am
His child.
Under His wings, under His wings, Who from His love
can sever? Under His wings my soul shall abide, Safely
abide forever. -529

We have this hope that burns within our hearts, Hope
in the coming of the Lord. We have this faith that
Christ alone imparts, Faith in the promise of His Word.
We believe the time is here, When the nations far and
near. Shall awake and shout and sing – Hallelujah!
Christ is King!! We have this hope that burns within
our hearts, Hope in the coming of the Lord. -214

Why should I feel discouraged? Why should the
shadows come? Why should my heart be lonely, And
long for heav’n and home, When Jesus is my portion?
My constant Friend is He: His eye is on the sparrow,
And I know He watches me, His eye is on the sparrow,
And I know He watches me.
