Career Info that I have
discovered…
I enjoy making stories about locations and I enjoy looking and
designing worlds and locations. My lifestyle I want is a free one and
one that is relaxed and fulfilling. I am good at creating new
ideas/locations and making sure there is a consistency in the
locations.
The upsides to the job is that it is creative and fairly open in terms of
working from home or in the office. The downsides is that it might be
hard to get hired. The job duties would be to design the levels of the
game and the gameplay of that level and environment. The salary is
around 53,786 annual and 20/hour. My lifestyle factor is mainly I just
want to live in a house that is big enough to be comfortable but not to
big where it becomes a unnecessary responsibility. The future jobs
and advancement opportunities are lead on a project or senior game
designer.

A degree helps but it is not required to become a level designer in
the gaming industry. Most of what is required is experience in game
design, gameplay design, and computer programming.
