Q5. A) Answer: Assuming I am in group 2. My group contains total 422 marbles and of
them 85 are blue marbles.

So Blue marbles are × 100 20.14%

The large container contains 4528 marbles.

20.14% of 4528 is = 4528 × 911.9392 or, 912 (approximately)

So, based on my group sample the large container contains approximately 912 blue marbles.

Q5. B) Answer: The average marbles of four groups is 364 and of them 60 marbles are blue.

So Blue marbles are × 100 16.48%

The large container contains 4528 marbles.

16.48% of 4528 is = 4528 × 764.2144 or, 764 (approximately)

So, based on the average of four groups, the large container contains approximately 764 blue
marbles.
