● Vocabulary: ​Boozy = alcoholic “I had a really boozy Christmas break” = I


drank a lot of alcohol over the Christmas break.
● I STAYED with my parents - ​remember to pronounce the ‘ed’ ending as a /d/
sound.
● We just maDE food - ​past simple verb needed.
● Vocabulary​: 24th December = Christmas Eve 25th = Christmas Day
● In Brazil the similar rules than UK - In Brazil, there are/they have similar rules
to the UK.
● I very busy - I ​am/I’m​ very busy - I ​was​ very busy
● Vocabulary​: ‘Emergency care’ = A&E Accident & Emergency
● Decided - ​remember to pronounce the ‘ed’ ending. This is a /id/ sound.
● I worked in real estate since I was 18/19. - ​“I have worked…” ​present perfect
tense needed here because Amine is STILL working in real estate. The action
has not finished. He is talking about an action that started in the past and
continues now.
