Guidelines: How to use

Links (AP1)
Text Links
• For our first course, the text links explain what
Phonology is and the different aspects involved in
articulating sounds; they also provide examples of
vowel sounds and diphthongs.

• Under the Text Links heading we have considered:


Articles, Worksheets, and Charts.
Articles
• After reading the articles from the Links list, you
should be able to answer the following questions:

 What’s Phonology?
 What aspects do we have to consider while articulating?
 What does IPA mean?
 What are the differences between Phonology and Phonetics?
Worksheets
• There are many worksheets available on different
topics.
• Choose the one that best suits what you have been
working on as extra support.
Charts
• For every chart, you can do the following:

 Click and listen


 Imitate the sounds
 Look for other examples that show the sound being
practiced
Video Links
• The video links for this course have been chosen
according to topic.
• They offer examples of key issues as extra support.

• After watching the video links, you can do the
following:
1. Identify (and even touch!) the different parts of the body
being involved
