Will Smith’s Collateral Beauty revolve around grief and emotions. The movie is based on the
grief that stricken to Howard (Will Smith) after the tragic death of his daughter boycotting
connections with real world and writing impassioned letters to Love, Time and Death blaming
them for the death of his daughter. His partners in order bring him back to life decided to
manipulate him by hiring three people who will play love, time and death accosting him in
public places to gain a response from him. However, even if the person is so much in sorrow he
wouldn’t believe that these abstract theories came to meet him in person. Hence, we cannot even
call this movie a fantasy because it cannot totally depict the real human emotion.
