My insights about the videos I have seen;

“IN THE PHILIPPINES, IT’S FUN TO READ”

The first video shows how teacher is very dedicated to teach students no matter what.
They make the efforts for helping students to learn. They find ways to make the teaching more
interesting, fun and worth learning. Also teachers give their very best to help students really
learn and not set aside the reading habit and learning habit in all aspects of their life.

The public school teacher Amcy Esteban is a good example of an elementary school
teacher, that classroom should have the “enthusiastic learning” despite of the unavailability to
accommodate books given to all students. The video also presented opportunities given not just
to students but also opportunities to teachers to be part and aware of Computer Access
Mentorship Program and free online multimedia tutorial for elementary school teachers to help
make reading fun for the students. Not able to access essential goods, services, assets and
opportunities? It is not a reason or hindrance for a teacher with passion, dedication and heart for
teaching to be hopeless to help students become successful.

“TEACH FOR THE PHILIPPINES”

The 2nd video is about the guest teachers who share their experiences in teaching
elementary students in a public school. The guests’ teachers aren’t just random people invited,
but are key leaders in both public and private sectors. They are able to handle class
professionally despite of what they really are outside the four corners of the room. Their
experience may be shared to other people and this made them realizes the importance of the
teaching profession, they may also see and acknowledge many opportunities they may give and
help for good education. At the end of their experience, they are grateful and satisfied seeing
children smiling, enjoying and appreciating the effort they’ve given to them.

The video also shows how tough being a teacher, how significant the roles of teachers,
how very inspiring the teachers do and they do not just teach but influence the mind of youth to
become successful members of society someday. The video also represent that no matter what
job you have or what position you have in a community or society, the role of teacher will never
be incomparable to what job you have. Being a teacher is also one of the toughest jobs in the
world. You cannot achieve what you have right now without the help of teacher. Also anyone
can be a teacher, but only with those who have passion, dedication, lending hand and open hearts
who can truly serve for the future of young successors someday.
