I was excited to hear of the opening at ___ School from ___ , I have completed my 600+ hour internship, and
worked as an emergency substitute school counselor.

I am applying as I complete my graduate program. I will graduate June 12 th, 2021 from City University of Seattle
with a Master of Education in Professional School Counseling (ESA Certification available in July). I earned my
Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies with minors in Psychology and Health Studies from Eastern Oregon
University. I also am certificated in Massage Therapy. Over the years I have been a florist and a licensed coach
for USA swimming. Growing and utilizing my skills to help people, especially children has been my life’s
passion.

I would be honored to work for ___ School District, to have the opportunity to serve the families and community
of ___. I am dedicated to creating a comprehensive ASCA model school counseling program using equity
minded, data driven, multicultural competency skills. I look forward to working as a team member with district,
school staff, parents, students, and all stakeholders to provide accommodations, interventions, opportunities, and
growth for all students.
