Homogeneity of variances: data from multiple groups have the same variance.

Independent-samples t-test used when you want to compare the mean scores of two different groups of
people or conditions.
Paired – samples t-test used when you want to compare the mean scores for the same group of people on
two different occasions, or you have matched pairs.

The multivariate test represents the four f test the Pillai’s Trace, Wilks Lambda, Hotellings Trace and Roys
