Confirming Camera System IP Address

Confirm the IP address of the camera system by looking at the IP address

label placed on the camera (or processor) body.
The IP address of the high-speed camera and PC should be different. If the IP
address is the same on the high-speed camera and PC, the camera will not be
recognized by the software when starting up the PFV application.

Factory-default IP address

IP address : 192 . 168 . 000 . 010

Subnet mask : 255 . 255 . 255 . 000
Default gateway : 000 . 000 . 000 . 000

Example

 Please set the same figures from the first to the third segment on the camera and PC, and
then set a different figure for the fourth segment. The default figure for the fourth segment on
the camera is 10, so please set figures from 1 to 255 except 10 for the fourth segment on PC.
 When two or more cameras are connected, each unit should be set to a different IP address
 When the IP address of the camera is unknown, a remote control or a video monitor is
necessary to recover it. In this case, please contact our technical support staff.

 In some circumstances when the IP address is changed and the new IP address is unknown,
an IP Address Reset operation is recommended. In this case, the IP address will be reset to
192.168.0.10 as the factory settings

initialization operation is accomplished.

■For FASTCAM Mini Series

1. Press and hold the RESET switch on the camera’s back panel.
2. All of the LEDs on the camera’s back panel light, then they turn off from right to left (first
cycle). All of the LEDs blink twice after they turn off. (An IP address is reset.)
3. All of the LEDs light, then they turn off from right to left (second cycle). All of the LEDs blink
twice after they turn off and then they light again.
4. The LEDs turn off from right to left (third cycle). After that, they blink continually.
5. Reboot the camera. The camera settings are now reset to the factory default.

 To reset to the factory default, press and hold the RESET switch until all of the LEDs blink
continually. This occurs after the LEDs complete 3 cycles of turning off from right to left.
 If pressing and holding the RESET switch is stopped after the first cycle of LEDs’ turning off from
right to left, only the IP address is reset.
