Understanding our political self will give us a better grasp of knowledge with certain matters with

regards to our government, politics and contemporary issues connected to it. Some reason of why we
need to have better understanding as citizens is because the government and politics impacts nearly
every aspect of our lives

Whether we like it or not, government plays a huge role in our daily lives, ranging from the amount of
taxes we pay for our basic necessities to the business we plan to start up in the future.

It will also open our eyes that every individual does have the opportunity to change the world and make
a difference.

Having this understanding, we as citizens can help determine the best course of action to help solve the
problem, regarding a wide range of issues because the government cannot solve a problem without the
help of each and every one of us and that it will also give us the ability to influence other people by
making a decision for them which is one of the essential qualities of one’s political self, leading to the
change or betterment of mankind.
