Zoom

Film opens on Ayushmann Khurrana talking to his students in a zoom class. We see there are about
15-20 students logged in.

Ayushmann has this energy and excitement to him which looks a little trying-to-hard.

In the same animated tone he says: (trying to make students laugh) You know guys, yeh meri pehli
class hai apke saath. But let me tell you, Accounts is a very INTERESTING subject, kyunki usmein
Interest hota hai. Haha. (He laughs at his own joke)

But his fear comes alive when he sees none of the students find it funny. In fact they ignore him with
hmmm!

He gathers some courage and goes again, ahem, but it could also get very taxing... you know
TAXing!?

No one laughs again.

With his second attempt failing, he clears his throat and says, guys, let’s meet in five!

And he switches off his camera looking a little defeated. He says to himself, I need a break.

He takes out a kitkat. we see the ritual. he takes a bite. When his eyes light up like he’s thought of
something and a smile appears on his face.

Comes back with a paper ball in his hand and says to the entire class.

Prof: (stern voice) Jokes aside pehle batao ye kisne phenka.

Everyone gets taken aback a little without realising that it’s not possible in a video call. They start
looking towards each other’s screen.

When he says, ye bhi joke hi tha.

No one laughs except one student.

He throws the paper ball towards the camera n a 3-4 of students duck. More laughter is heard.

This triggers the game of paper ball fight.

The zoom class comes alive again. When we see the the pack shot and hear a message that says.

VO:

We all need a break.
