Film Tilik is a story that depicts society, especially women.

The film Filik tells the

story of a group of women between the ages of 30 and 50 who go to the hospital in a truck
belonging to their friend. And from inside this truck is the discussion and gossip that is the
main material found in this film. The women in the movie are mothers. The main character in
the movie Tilik is Bu Tejo. Bu Tejo plays an important role in the story so that it looks more
interesting and can teach a lesson to the general public. In addition, the characters Yu Sam
and Yu Ning are the characters that make this storyline more structured because we can see
the differences in each character played in this story. Along the way, one of the most talked
about characters in society is Bu Tejo.

The character of Bu Tejo is a character who describes a person who is very fond of
telling stories about other people’s things or other terms like to gossip. One of the
characteristics of our society is that it likes to tell the bad things about others to the public. Bu
Tejo often tells about Dian based on information gathered from the internet and the rest is
fiction. That’s how Bu Tejo provoked other mothers to support her story. Telling people's
ugliness is a habit that is practiced in today's society. Today's society, especially women, love
to tell stories about other people. We can see in this movie where the character of Bu Tejo is
a person who likes to tell stories about other people. Throughout their journey to the hospital,
Bu Tejo often told the stories she knew to the passengers in the truck. Mrs. Tejo often told
others about Dian's ugliness. This happens because, Bu Tejo does not like Dian because she
is afraid that her husband likes Dian.

Dian is the son of a friend who is ill in the hospital. Dian’s character is not the main
character, but Dian becomes the talk for Bu Teja to tell her ugliness to others. Dian is a
village girl in her area. The girl is said to be beautiful because of her face which makes the
husband in the village like to look at her. For example, Bu Teja says that Dian likes to seduce
people’s husbands. Also, she says Dian wears an implant to look prettier. This makes Mrs.
Teja jealous of Dian's beauty. Next, she said that Dian experienced vomiting because she was
suspected of being pregnant. Dian was also accused of doing a bad job while in the city. In
addition, Bu Tejo likes to talk about the shame of neighbors, character and is described as a
person who likes to point out property. This can be seen from the amount of jewelry he wears
even though he only goes to visit sick people. Bu Tejo is also willing to spend money and
often promotes her husband as the new village head candidate.

However, not all the women in the truck agreed with what Bu Tejo said. The next
character is Yu Ning. Yu Ning is a friend of Bu Teja and Bu Lurah. Yu Ning is a very
positive -minded person in everything and does not support his friend’s opinion. Any story is
not right, Yu Ning will try to think positively in every situation. For example, while Bu Tejo
recounts the ugliness of Dian working poorly, Yu Ning will defend Dian by saying Dian is a
good person and her job is good.

Also, while Bu Tejo says that Dian vomited for doing something bad. Yu Ning will
defend as well by saying that Dian is not feeling well. Yu Ning tries to remind Bu Tejo to
keep her word. The two of them always quarrelled for defending each other’s opinions.
Meanwhile, the other side character is Yu Sam. Yu Sam is a person who really believes in a
story. For example, everything that Bu Tejo tells, she will believe and support everything that
Bu Tejo says. When they arrived at the hospital, a group of women apparently failed to visit
the village headman as he was still in the ICU. They can only meet Fikri and Dian who they
once talked to.

In conclusion, we should not always tell the badness of others to the public. This is
because, everything we told is not necessarily correct and authentic. When we tell things that
are not right will cause misunderstanding with each other. In addition, there will be fights
with each other in upholding opinions. Next, we must not over -trust sources from the
internet because every source obtained is less accurate. Some resources available on the
internet are not authentic. If we believe too much it will have a negative effect on us for
spreading unauthentic information.
Then, as a respected woman, we should not have a ripple and arrogant nature towards
others. For example, the character of Bu Tejo who often shows gold bracelets to her friends.
This will make us more arrogant and often look down on others. We must also always think
positively in a situation. We are not encouraged to always think negatively in everything.
This will cause us to always think badly of someone when there is a misunderstanding.
Misunderstandings will lead to fights with each other.

One of the characteristics of society in Filik Films is the rural society. The rural
community is the population still has strong family ties. These strong family ties tend to be
because there are village heads who may have family ties. The factor that caused this to
happen was due to the limited movement of the villagers. Due to the existence of a strong
family, life also has family characteristics and also has a strong relationship even if it is not
related to blood or family. Therefore, it is not strange if the villagers know each other.

A special feature of rural society is that the total rural population is less than the urban
population. One of the causes is still related to the lives of the villagers. This is because most
of the land in the village is turned into paddy fields so not many residents live in the village.
In addition, another similarity that characterizes rural communities is ethnicity. This is
because they have a closer relationship with the village community. Next, the characteristic
of the rural society in the film is a homogeneous society. What is meant by homogeneous is a
society in a peaceful state in terms of religion, customs and also other similarities that make a
rural society unique.
