Planning for Theoretical Problems
Problems I may encounter when researching How I plan to resolve these problems
and planning
 Primary Research
focus groups: find out who is available and at what time. ONLINE. Schedule.
surveys: post on social platforms that 13-18 year old’s use i.e. Snapchat,
Instagram, Discord.

Planning for practical and technical problems

Problems I may encounter when researching How I plan to resolve these problems
and planning
 Secondary Research
Sources: verify if they are not fake although that will be quite difficult est.
everyone has different views on soulmates as it is to do with spirituality. Legends
are also quite hard to verify as most of them have been passed down through oral
tradition and therefore some, if not most, beliefs have been lost in translation or
haven’t been put down on paper and therefore the original story is forever lost.
Find the most reliable source. The one with the most information should be the
one. Just as long as don’t use sketchy websites or webpages like Wikipedia or
WikiHow, then I will be fine. Hopefully.
Use books, papers, and other materials besides the internet.
Compare sources. They are reliable if they have similarities.
 Pre-Production
Props + Equipment: Use everything that you have at hand. If you don’t have the
equipment, hire it out from college. If you don’t have the props, replace them
with them something similar or DIY however, DIY is at LAST RESORT.
Locations: using locations nearby you or locations that everyone from you crew
and cast can get to are preferable, especially during the pandemic.
Script + Storyboard: think of images that would become scenes, put them in the
order that you’d like, write them down into a script format and then create a
storyboard. SHOULD NOT BE DONE LAST MINUTE.
Mid project check-up (After research)
 Weather: allow extra time to film to reschedule shoots.
 Cast: check if all available for shoots.
 Transport: avoid at all costs unless necessary.

End project review
I have solved every issue that was presented in this document. I have made sure that I have
received sufficient amount of responses for all my surveys. I compared the same legends to
different accounts. I used a book to help me prepare for my pitch. I used all the equipment I
personally could use, I tied not to hire out any equipment. I tried using location that everyone
could get to such as The Henley College, areas around High Wycombe but not The Barn. Even
though the weather seemed to be nice, it’s the British weather we are talking about so it changes
literally every second but we avoided any dangerous locations such as the forest during or after a
rainy day however, we did have to use public transport from my house (bedroom scene) to the
forest.
