Weekly Evaluation

Week 1
Context
Monday 1st February 2021 – Sunday 7th February 2021
I have been asked to write a proposal, production schedule, come up with a research plan, research
competition information and know what my anticipated problems are.

I have also been asked to generate 3 ideas, make a survey so that the responses you get from your
survey finalise your idea with precise analysis of that survey. I have produced an outline, and a detail
outline of what my short film will be about however, there will be some changes made along the
way, so nothing really is set in stone as of yet. The Bibliography is a document along with the weekly
evaluation that will be updated each time.

I have decided to choose young adults or 13-17 year olds as my target audience since they seem like
the perfect audience. A lot of people in the age bracket finds themselves online and therefore, it’s
easier to reach out to them than people who are over 50 or under 12. Therefore, they will be ideal if
I were to send surveys or organise a focus group to receive feedback from my target audience.

I have decided to go with my most popular idea based on the survey that I had sent out. I have
received 20 responses and 70% of my target audience really liked the idea of soulmates and the red
string that connects them, according to an ancient Chinese legend. Like I said in the description,
there is a sinister twist to that legend where the other side of the main characters string is a person
who is totally obsessed about her. However, this idea changes as I draw inspiration from the
responses although it isn’t direct. The relationship map looks something like this, but this could be
changed or developed as the project continues…
… In all honesty, I personally like this idea because of how creative I have chosen to be with it. At
first, it was only the string that was supposed to be red but as thought on this idea further, the more
fun I wanted it to get with colour. Red is a popular choice in filmmaking because it’s a very intense
colour and with any colour you can have different shades of it. So you can have blood, wine, or red
lips or roses, nail polish or neon signs. Red also has many connotations such as passionate love,
anger, or imminent danger.

Since I am limiting the amount of dialogue used, the colours and other objects could be used to
foreshadow events and the audience will have to look to see what has been brought to light because
of these objects such as the love interests red sweater that smells of his very unique cologne that
only the main character knows of. At this rate, this might turn into a series of unfortunate
happenings for Miss Red.

As I am exploring visual storytelling, I am hoping that my ability to tell stories this way will only
improve and develop as an aspiring screenwriter. If this production does turn out well, then I hope
that I have proved to everyone, including myself, that I can tell stories visually. It would be a great
achievement for me since I have mostly told stories through dialogue.

I am currently on track with my work. The upcoming week is mostly to do with research.

Week 2
Research, Planning & Pre-Production
Monday 8th February 2021 – Sunday 14th February 2021
The second week of the project and the following next few weeks are spent on research, planning
and pre-production. This week I’ve devoted to some research and some pre-production.

The topics that I’ve researched are:

• Stalking
o Definition, Examples, & Criminal Legislation
o Stalkers in Popular Culture
o Psychology of Stalkers
▪ Facts, Statistics, & the Link with Sociopathy with the Term 'Yandere'
• The Red String of Fate
o The Origins of The Legend
o Yue Lao
o The Red String of Fate in Film
• Colour Theory in Film
o Psychology of Colour
o Small Case study of Raise the Red Lantern

I have researched those topics in that order because one of the main characters is a stalker and I
thought I had to get to the bottom of why and how does he do it and for what reason? I have
identified that stalkers can suffer from mental disorders mainly from Borderline Personality Disorder
and Antisocial Personality Disorder however, I decided to take it a step further and found a link
between stalkers and sociopathy. Unlike psychopaths, sociopaths can actually find themselves
emotionally attached to a single or a group of people. In my production, he will be attracted to
Hanna, the heroine of the story, who lit up his world and made him forget about his traumatic past
that the audience will learn through crumpled or burnt family photos.
I have also learnt about the different versions of the origin story of The Red String of Fate. I
understand that in my brief I have stated that I will be using the Chinese Legend, but that was until I
realised that I wanted to have the red string tied to around the pinkie finger as stated in the
Japanese folklore, rather than around the ankle. Speaking of the Red string brings me to one of the
most important aspects in this production: colour.

Researching colour theory, wasn’t too difficult. We all have our perceptions of what red or white
might mean. Those two colours will be frequently shown in my production as the main colour
scheme composed of two complementary colours and this is what I’ve said about them on my
website:

“…I can make the Main Female Character seems as innocent, pure and naïve yet at
the same time I could have been foreshadowing her death all along {talking about
the colour white and its connotations. White can symbolise death.}. On the other
hand, I could choose to have the colour red to have a positive connotation at first
and then slowly start associating it with the obsessive love which ultimately leads to
the Main Female character being in danger of the oncoming violence which leads to
her demise…”

Both colours can be associative and when the story progresses it can transition into a different
colour of into a different shade. Red is red but there is the hue, the saturation, and the brightness
(HSB) of a colour and even a single different setting can make a difference in how a colour makes us
think and feel. For example, the two colours below are red, and they are different as indicated by
the hexadecimal code for those shades. The #C30000 is the main colour on my website. It is darker
and much more sinister than its friend who appears to be blood orange therefore, it reminds me of
summer.

Because of the strong presence of red, my teacher has suggested the film by Zhang Yimou, ‘Raise the
Red Lantern’. I have watched this film and produced a small case study of the use of red within
Yimou’s film.

Through researching on these topics, I have developed my idea further. I did think of leaving the
stalker as unidentified however, I didn’t know how until I saw ‘Raise the Red Lantern’ in which the
audience doesn’t get to see what the Master of the house actually looks like. I have also thought of
using other colours like yellow, symbolising madness as well as green which as we all know, would
present itself as jealousy in my production if the right HSB settings are used. Those settings can be
done in post-production with Adobe Premiere Pro.

Although I haven’t researched into my target audience thoroughly yet, I know that the ages that I am
looking at are 13 to 17-year olds. I have already sent out a survey, and as of next week, I will be
looking at my target audience more clearly such as doing focus groups whilst waiting for 40+
responses on the survey.
I will also be taking a closer look at my chosen genres and the conventions within them. I have
limited myself to two: Romance Thriller. The genres that would also be appropriate for my
production would be fantasy, psychological as well as horror.

Week 3
Research, Planning & Pre-Production
Monday 15th February 2021 – Sunday 21st February 2021
I have devoted this week to research and some pre-production just like the week before that.

I have decided to research into the genre of my production. The genre that I have chosen was based
on the primary research that I had conducted as well as the similarities of conventions in my
productions compared to the films that had been professionally made. Although I did not have a
sufficient amount of responses on my survey, most of them suggested that the genre that my idea
belongs to is both romance and thriller, making it a hybrid short-film. There were other suggestions
such as horror and mystery however, the Romantic Thriller seems to fit the description of my idea
perfectly well.

For now, I have only researched into a small portion of the conventions of the genre, and I will be
analysing clips of films from those specific genres bit by bit. Primary research for conventions will be
conducted later on.

Speaking of survey responses, my first survey was “vague” as described by my teacher and
therefore, many found it hard to complete as they did not understand the question. Thus, I found it
necessary to make a new one with a different set of questions that were similar to the ones listed in
the guideline. Just like before, I sent it across Snapchat and 4 Discord servers, 2 of which are
dedicated to homework. In addition, I have asked my sister to send it to some of her classmates
since my sister is within my target audience age. I am still waiting for more survey responses to
arrive.

From the responses that I have received, I had managed to get a more detailed idea for my
production such as adding some of the songs that were suggested to me i.e. ‘Crazy’ by Patsy Cline ft.
The Jordanaires. This song gave me an idea that the stalker will pick up her limp body and sway with
it to the music as the scene fades into the credits.

Week 4
Research, Planning & Pre-Production
Monday 1st March 2021 – Sunday 7th March 2021
This week was mostly spent on the final bits of research, excluding conventions of genre, some
primary research, and some planning. I managed to pack quite a lot for this week so the evaluation
might be quite long.

Pre-production is necessary for productions especially when it comes down to the required props or
the attire of the characters since they all come down to the cost. Anyways, I started of the week
looking at the props that I will need as well as the preferred wardrobe for each character. I have also
filled out the sounds list and the I have yet to complete the foley list. Even though I have done these
lists, I still need to add to them as I continue with my production.

Speaking of sound, I managed to complete a sound analysis of two professional productions. I have
used a clip from ‘No Country for Old Men’ as well as ‘The Notebook’ for the analysis as they are
completely different form one another however, since I am focusing on the genre of a romance
thriller as that will be the hybrid genre for my production, those productions were necessary for me
to analyse. I have also included some songs that I will most likely use within my production.

I also planned on having a focus group on Wednesday however even though I did film it via Discord,
the sound wasn’t recorded and so rescheduling was essential as is the focus group. Unfortunately,
many of those that I planned on doing the focus group with weren’t available until Sunday.
Although, I have yet to film for the focus group with the sound, I had managed to get some ideas
from the failed recording. That includes having lily of the valley flowers somewhere within the
scenes as part of the mise-en-scene as the meaning behind it means death.

One other task that I had finished which is also part of the secondary research is the target audience.
What I have learnt about them is that they spend a lot of time online compared to the younger and
the older generation. They are more likely to fight for various causes and social movements in
various ways either through social media or physical protests. The issues that were brought to light
during March 2021 is sexual assault/harassment, rape etc. since the news of Sarah Everard who was
followed, raped, and murdered by a Police Officer and so, there are online discussions about this.
This somewhat relates to my Final Major Project about stalking and dating abuse.

From the survey responses that I’ve gathered, most of them have said that they would like to see
this short film and are excited by the future results.

Week 5
Monday 8th March 2021 – Sunday 14th March 2021
I’ve been looking at conventions of genre, and I’ve completed some test shoots based on the
conventions of my chosen genres which are romance and thriller.

From my research I have come to the realisation that the thriller genre has a lot more shadows
compared to the romance genre in which the lighting appears to be bright yet soft. In addition, there
is a difference between the instrumentals: thrillers often have a fast paced and much more dramatic
soundtracks which will make the audience anticipate the unexpected with the adrenaline rushing
through their veins whereas romance relies on softer tracks although pop songs are used frequently
as well to depict what the main characters would listen to. The final convention that is also
important is the most important tent poles or moments within those genres. In the romance genre,
the meet-cute is the most important moment where the main character meets their future lover
whereas in thrillers it is the showdown in which the hero and the villain have a face off. All of this
has helped me understand that I will have to look for suitable music, adjust the lighting not only
during the filming but also in post-production and add the most important tent poles within the
story and write it within the script.

In addition to this I have completed several test shoots, location recce’s as well as secondary
research for the target audience. All of this was to practice what I had researched such as different
camera angles as well as to how I would actually film my production. By that I mean, the technical
side of filmmaking for example, controlling the shutter speed, the aperture, ISO as well as the
different white balance settings.
The test shoots allowed me to understand what I need to work on when I’d be filming. I have also
understood that to achieve that thriller filter, I would have to colour grade the footage to make it a
dark yet a lowly saturated picture however, the hue would have to slightly on the teal side just ;ike
in “Night in Paradise”.

Week 6
Pre-Production
Monday 15th March 2021 – Sunday 21st March 2021
Unlike last week, I have decided to focus on the pre-production for my final major project.

This week, I have completed my equipment list, crew and cast list and received some audition files.

Planning is an essential part of the production as it takes the longest, especially when it comes down
to writing the script because putting your idea into a working narrative and then making a film out of
it, is quite difficult to do. The other pre-production files are quite easy to do, and they don’t take
that long to do for example the equipment list which for me, wasn’t that big. I planned on using the
equipment I had at hand and available.

With my script, I had to think of how I wanted my story to go, and it was quite difficult to do but
because I have researched into my genre, I had a vague idea of how I wanted it to go. For the
opening of my short film, I was inspired by the romcom ‘The Devil Wears Prada’. The main character,
played by Anne Hathaway, is getting ready for her interview for a fashion editorial magazine. In my
short film, HANNA is getting ready to meet her friend, MOSS, at a café. When they meet, I wanted
them to discuss who is the anonymous person sending gifts and letters to Hanna, but they don’t
really come up with a specified person, only an assumption that it’s Moss’ cousin. Later, Moss comes
back from ordering herself a strawberry cheesecake and saying how rude the BARISTA was which we
later find that it was in fact the STALKER, but Hanna disagrees to which Moss counteracts with:
I wanted to keep the whole mystery and romance within the script. That’s why there are a lot of
questions, teasing, and frequent use of the word soulmate or anything related to that term. The
forest and the ending scenes were the hardest for me to come up with.

With the forest scene, I wanted to make Hanna seem like a lost lamb who was being hunted by a
wolf or something of the sort and to make it disorienting for her. I’m not sure whether or not you
have experienced a panic attack, but you tend to focus on everything at once. Your senses become
heightened and overwhelmed with everything and you try to focus on one thing but then another
thing enters your senses, so it distracts you from focusing on calming down. Some people try to run
from such situations just like Hanna, who ends up falling onto the ground and when she stands up,
she is disoriented and, in that moment, a hand covers her mouth from behind with a chloroform
cloth and she is abducted.

The final scene was written with the song ‘Crazy’ by Patsy Cline in mind. An obsessed sociopathic
stalker has just abducted the person he is obsessed with, he burns a family photo (childhood
trauma), and then picks up the lifeless body of Hanna into and dances with it to the song. It’s seems
creepy just as a villain should be.

The script will be essential in my production as the actors will need to learn the lines and I will need
to create a storyboard for the script so yes, the pre-production will be useful for the production. It
will also help me keep track of how much I spent on props.

What issues did you encounter whilst planning and how did you overcome them?

Week 7
Pitch
Monday 15th March 2021 – Sunday 21st March 2021
This week I’ve focused on pitching my idea to a group of people.
I have followed the advice with the second edition of “The Perfect Pitch”
written by Ken Rotcop. The advice that I have mainly followed is to make
the pitch straight to the point and ask questions so that the group of people
won’t focus on anything but my pitch.

For my pitch I have prepared 4 main topics: The general idea and how it
formed, how is the idea unique which included some responses from my
target audience as well as the social context and implications, target
audience (primary and secondary research), and information on the
competition. This was done by organising my pitch script.

As you can see, I have detailed information about the topics, and I have made sure that each of
these flow from one to another as smoothly as they can. The PowerPoint presentation reflects the
simplicity and the colour scheme of my production which I personally think is very important when
pitching one’s ideas to a group of people.
Since I was the last one out of my group to pitch my idea, I realised how much information I was
missing out. I really was afraid that I wasn’t going to do well however, it turned out better than I
thought it did. I thought that I was stumbling over my words, repeating the same phrases, that I
wasn’t coherent enough, that instead of talking I was mumbling etc. But despite of it all, I had
managed to sell my idea as it was different and interesting as majority of the group members
actually said that they would actually watch my production which is what my target audience had
also said. Therefore, I had managed to pitch my idea successfully leading to a sale or an investment
which is the main aim of any pitch.

Since I will be going to university next year, I will most likely be pitching my ideas during my studies.
So, in order to improve on my next pitch, I will develop my salesperson skills meaning that I should
be more engaging with my audience, and more confident that I will sell the idea. I will definitely
include more materials to go over however, those materials will be given as handouts as the pitch
itself is supposed to be short and to the point as producers do not have the time to listen to a pitch
which goes on forever as I’ve read in the aforementioned book.

Week 8
Prep week
Monday 29th April 2021 – Sunday 4th April 2021
This week I have focused on making sure that everyone will make it for the time and day of the
shoots as well as any pre-production that needs to be finished before I begin to film.

I have finished my script and as soon as I have printed it and had a read through it, I have noticed
that I didn’t include a really important sequence in my script, that being the sociopathic stalker
burning a family photo. How is this important? As I have researched into the psychology and the
causes of sociopathy, I have learnt that sociopaths tend to have childhood trauma therefore, I will
use the image of burning a family photo to signify that.
In addition to that, I have confirmed all locations including the café as well as the bedroom which I’ll
be filming in which will be in my home.

Next week, I will be filming for most part.

Week 9
Filming
Monday 5th April 2021 – Sunday 11th April 2021
As the heading suggests, I focused on filming this week. Unfortunately, due to the college being
closed during the Easter break, I couldn’t film scene 6 and 7. Other than that, I have filmed what I
could in 3 days as my crew and cast members had other plans on the days that they were not
available.

I had all the permissions I needed along with the availability of the cast and the crew.

On Monday 5th April, I ran into my first several problems which caused a slight delay in beginning to
film in the café, actually on the outside of the café since there were still renovations being made.

My first problem was that I couldn’t find the vintage lighter that I was going to use and the
reason for that was because my father hid it from me as he assumed that I smoke cigarettes
in secret, which is not true. In the end, my father gave the lighter back to me.

The second was that Olivia, who played as Moss, wasn’t able to get to Wycombe at the
specified time since the buses weren’t regular due to the day being a bank holiday. Olivia
took the train instead and then my mum dropped us off at the filming location in Turville
Heath however, we were at least 30 minutes late.

Other problems included: the sun hiding behind clouds, cars passing through as well as a
tractor mowing the grass. This was difficult to overcome since the scene at this location is
where all of the dialogue happens. The only thing we could do is wait for those things to
pass by which obviously wasted time.

On the 8th of April, the filming was set to happen in two places: my bedroom as well as the forest.
Initially, I was supposed to shoot in college as it has those shower rooms that give off the creepy
vibes however, as the college was closed off during the Easter break, I had to wait until we come
back into college. There really weren’t many issues during this day apart from the lack of space and
the children in the forest. It was quite easy and simple to solve these issues as I had to move further
away from the area that the children were playing in, and I put away everything in my room that was
obstructing the area in my bedroom.

In summary, the filming process went well for what I had filmed, with the assistance of Troy Harris
who acted not only as the stalker but also as a co-cinematographer(?). Since I hadn’t completed my
filming completely, I’d like to finish it as soon as I come back to college.

Week 10
Catch- up
Monday 12th April 2021 – Sunday 10th April 2021
This week I have dedicated to finishing anything that hasn’t been completed or started yet,
excluding editing as there is no possible way for me to edit my work on Adobe Premiere Pro as not
only did my license expire but the scratch disk on my laptop was too full even though I have deleted
or transferred any files.

Since the weekly evaluations weren’t completed each week, I have decided to do hat first in order to
be somewhat on top of the project. I realise now that each time I decide to do something later as I
am finishing of something else, it doesn’t get done on time and therefore, I waste time trying to
catch up rather than focus on the things that need to get done.
Week 11 & 12
Post-Production
Monday 19th April 2021 – Sunday 2nd May 2021
For the past two weeks, I had been editing my first draft. I have come to the realisation that first
drafts should not take that long to do however, I wanted to see how my work would look like as the
final draft and in all honesty, I was disappointed. I had footage that I supposedly filmed that was
missing, lack of a variety of camera angles, the dialogue was non-existent as it was extremely hard to
hear because of the wind. So in order to fix those areas that I wasn’t satisfied with, I asked not only
my actors but also the venue, ‘The Barn’, if it was okay to film on the 09/05/21. In any case, I began
editing my first draft. I left some space for the opening credits just as Tarantino or any other
directors films begin, and this can also be seen in my script.

I have added the songs I had planned on adding apart from ‘Crazy’ by Patsy Cline as it hadn’t been
filmed yet when editing this draft. The second draft will have the ending scene though. In the first
draft, I have done the basic things that needed to get done such as cutting up the shots to match the
dialogue and to pace the narrative. I have also colour graded most of the scenes, as we can see
below in the forest scene, to match or create an atmosphere.

In the images above, the original (left) was two bright for a scene that was supposed to create
tension that lead to the abduction which was then supposed to be release by the end of the short
film. Therefore, I de saturated the footage, turned up the contrast but faded it a bit. I have also
wanted the green in the footage to stand out a tiny bit more, so I turned up the hue to make it
greener. I have also used the OST from ‘The World of the Married’ titled ‘Finale’ however, along with
this and ‘Johnny B. Goode’, they are both said to be not suitable for their scenes.
I was most proud of my shoot at The Henley College. After my regular lessons, myself and Troy
Harris set up for the location with props. We put the dust sheets on the ground as well as hung
them in line with the room divider. The most important part of the props was the cotton thread that
would be used to hang pictures of the Hanna or the actress who plays her role, Sin Heng Chan. That
thread will symbolise the Japanese folklore that I was inspired by to create this short film. The
folklore about how two people who are destined to be together are connected by a single red
thread.

Troy Harris as the STALKER Troy Harris with empty bottles of Withered rose petals from the
wine, family picture and a lighter. bedroom shoot, blood, and a
bloodied top.

Initially, I hadn’t thought about red lighting as I was planning on making the scene take on this teal
looking colour in post-production whist trying to make the red string still stand out however, after
Troy suggested it, I have changed my mind and it seems like it worked for me, instead of against me.
In all honesty, setting up the scene took longer than we had thought. When we had finished, we
went to a local gastro pub as we were feeling a bit hungry and Sin Heng wasn’t arriving until 5 pm.
By the time we were done and on the scene with Sin Heng, we only had 10 minutes to shoot the
entire scene. Nevertheless, I was still happy about how it all turned out.

In my next draft, I will implement all the changes necessary whilst including the reshoots that will
have to be edited. I will also hopefully complete some of the unfinished work.
Week 13
Post-Production
3rd may – 9th may

This Sunday, 9th May 2021, I had done a reshoot at The Barn like I said I would, as I wasn’t happy
about the results from the café shoot in April. This time, it was less windy which kind of solved my
problem but then again, it was raining pretty badly. I wasn’t recording with the voice recorder I had
bought from Amazon as the sound quality was similar to the quality my camera had recorded. In
addition to that, I had forgotten to bring the microphone and the recorder that I had hired out from
my college.

This shoot went incredibly well apart from my camera having some lighting difficulties, so we used
Trot Harris’ as well as mine. We tried to fix these problems but as much as we tried, I knew that it
wasn’t going to be easy to fix so I suggested that I can just fix it when editing.

Week 14
Post-Production
10th may-16th may

After my reshoot at the barn, I had decided to start editing as soon as I’m back in college for the
week as I can’t edit at home as the deadline for the final edit was Friday 14th May 2021 at 4PM.

In my second draft, I change the songs to ‘Daydream’ by The Aces for the opening scenes and a fan
made music piece called ‘Dead by Daylight’.

In comparison to the first and second draft, I had done made considerable changes such as cutting
the Snapchat texting from an approximately 2 minutes to several seconds long. I have also cut the
first person to person communication that Hanna and Moss have on-screen as it does not add to the
story in anyway, but it is rather just some chatter and by the 3rd draft, I have added Hanna’s voice
over, so we understand the story more in the opening scene.
Original footage
C olour grading was also done not only in the reshoots but also most
of the scenes that had already been colour grades as well.

Draft 02 Draft 03

Draft 01 Final Draft

Apart from adding the Voice over, and changing the songs, and the colour grading, nothing really
changed from draft 02 to the final draft. In the final draft, I have made the opening credits look more
professional and made sure that they go to the beat of the song. The ending credits include the cast
and who they play as well as the crew and their roles. Unfortunately, I forgot to add the music
credits at the end.

I have also delayed the forest scene by several seconds in the 3 rd draft and the transition fades into
that scene as the sudden cut to it seems too sudden and the audience need to take in what just
happened. Same goes to shot by the end of the scene. It fades, there are a few moments of a black
slug, and then then the music fades into the final scene along with the footage. By the end of the
final scene, I fade the footage once again and with it, the credits roll. It’s looks nice. And I personally
like it.

Since I was experiencing frequent breakdowns as I was panicked that I wasn’t going to submit my
work on time and that the work wasn’t good enough, Troy Harris, lent me his laptop that unlike my
own laptop, has Adobe Premiere Pro as well as a lot of disk space. Thanks to this I was able to make
several drafts, including my final fourth draft which was submitted as my actual short film.

From editing, I have learnt how to make the legacy titles ‘crawl’ from the bottom to the top and how
to make them longer.

Next week, I will start my final evaluation.

Week 15
Evaluation
17th may – 23rd

This week is the final full week and therefore I decided to spend this week writing up my final
evaluation as well as any work I have not completed including the weekly blogs.
My final evaluation will be a summary of all the things that I have researched and how I have used
that research in my production as well as the achievements or where the strengths and weaknesses
may lie within my work. I would have also compared my short film titled ‘A Love Returned in Full’ to
those professional productions, in this case, I had compared my work to two productions in terms of
the conventions: ‘The Witch: Part 1 – The Subversion’ and ‘Extraordinary You’.

Generally, I would say that my final evaluation was done in a way that would allow a smooth
transition from one topic to another, linking them in some way.

However, the most frustrating thing that happened during this week was that when I was working
on my final evaluation one evening in the comfort of my own home, I was doing just fine until the
next day when I came into college to find that the work on the document that I had been working on
had disappeared. I thought nothing of it since it was a small amount and so I wrote what I
remembered from last night. When I came home from my lessons, I sat down and when I opened
the file that I had been working on in college, that work was gone but the work from last night was
there and wanting to document it, I went and opened what I had thought were the weekly
evaluation blogs but what I had actually opened was the final evaluation that I had been working on
at college. I wasn’t relieved at all. The only document of my weekly evaluation was on my website
however, since I had not been updating that Scribd document on my website weekly after doing my
weekly evaluations, I had lost the blogs that I had done which is around 4 weeks’ worth.

This problem was no others but my own and through this I had learnt that I should publish any
changes immediately after I had made them otherwise that would create a loss as well as create
back up files.

In any case, I had managed to complete all the weekly blogs that had vanished and I’m up to date.

Next week, I will focus on the finishing touches of any work that I had missed out as I might think
that I have finished it, but it may turn out that there were small amounts that weren’t finished, and I
had unintentionally overlooked them.
Week 16
Final Touch-Ups
24th may – 25th may

For the past two days, I wanted to finish and make sure that everything was completed and that
nothing was overlooked.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t do some of my project work during the weekend because my underage
sister drank irresponsibly and when 111 gave my sister’s friend’s mum who also works at my sisters
school, St. Michael’s Catholic Secondary School, a call back with advice, they had said to drive her to
Wexham Park A&E Hospital to see if she had alcohol poisoning which she thankfully didn’t. So I was
awake from 9am on Saturday to 11pm on Sunday looking after my wasted sister since my parents
weren’t home. At all.
