Purpose This document describes how to install a A9100 outdoor BTS of the
Alcatel BSS subsystem

1.2 Prerequisites
The site is ready to receive the racks, according to the SPP-33 : Particular
specification GSM and DCS for EVOLIUM Alcatel base station for mini/medi
outdoor BTS site preparation Reference : 8BL 00704 0034 DRBRA
The following equipment are necessary installed before installation:
Cable tray
Antenna feeders
AC power cable (∅ maximum 25 mm)

2 Preliminary Checks

When dismounting, do not remove completely the screws because you can
lose the nut inside the profile.

This chapter describes the procedure to connect the AC power supply cables
to the side compartment cabinet.
According to the Alcatel SPP-33 document, the power cables and earth cables
are already supplied and installed before A9100 Outdoor installation.
Before making any electrical connections to the BTS, ensure that the safety
instructions are followed.
It is essential that :
1. Identify an available hole on the socle cover with cable entry holes
2. Reduction adapter cable bushes and sleeve
3. Auxilliary compartment bottom plate

This chapter describes the procedure to connect the PCM cables to the A9100
Side compartment.
