1.2 Prerequisites
The site is ready to receive the racks, according to the SPP-33 : Particular
specification GSM and DCS for EVOLIUM Alcatel base station for mini/medi
outdoor BTS site preparation Reference : 8BL 00704 0034 DRBRA
The following equipment are necessary installed before installation:

Cable tray

Antenna feeders
AC power cable (∅ maximum 25 mm)

Earth cable and ground plate

Differencial AC circuit breakers

2Mbits cables or Microwave feeders

DDF for 2Mbits cables


Steel construction or councrete foundation

The Alarm cables are not necessary installed (option).


In case one or more of this equipment are not installed before the installation,
contact the ALCATEL person responsible of the installation and tick it in the
CCL document.

2. Unscrew the BTS roofs (M5 Hexagon screwdriver)
3. Remove the BTS roofs respecting the order indicated in figure
4. Mounting tool key 3BK 08144 AA used to screw the cabinet together
5. Inter-cabinet fixing location
6. Principle of cabinet mechanical assembling
7. Approach the cabinet
8. Insert the screw
9. Tight the screw.

When dismounting, do not remove completely the screws because you can
lose the nut inside the profile.

4 Power Cables Installation

This chapter describes the procedure to connect the AC power supply cables
to the side compartment cabinet.
According to the Alcatel SPP-33 document, the power cables and earth cables
are already supplied and installed before A9100 Outdoor installation.

Before making any electrical connections to the BTS, ensure that the safety
instructions are followed.
It is essential that :

The protective earth is connected to the equipment earth terminal

The electrical power supply is disconnected.

1. Identify an available hole on the socle cover with cable entry holes
