about new technology, TV sets , washing machines and big cars. The television and the washing machine were
inventions of the fifties. The personal computer, the mobile phone or the CD player were not inventions in the fifties.

Teenagers in the 1950s were an important group, with their opinions, music and clothes .Jeans and leather jackets were
very popular with boys, but they weren´t with girls. The fashion for girls was skirts and dresses…
