Subject: Extension Request for the Construction of Balaguen Level II Water System

Sir:

We are glad to inform you that as of January 21, 2021, the said project has FIFTY PERCENT
(50%) overall accomplishment. To date we have an additional unbilled progress. However
with the said accomplishments, we still have on-going drilling works. As the contract duration
is to end on 30th of April 2021, I am requesting for a three (3) month extension from 30th April
to 30th of July 2021 to accomplish the remaining works.

The delay is due to the the following reasons:

1. COVID 19 Logistics Affected- The production of materials ordered from the suppliers.
2. COVID 19 safety precautionary measures.
3. Difficulty of transporting the materials due to weather conditions and limited
transportation schedules going to the island.

We are hoping for your favourable approval of the project extension.
