INTRODUCTION
The beginning of H&M Hennes & Mauritz AB marked by the opening of the
very first “Hennes” store in Vasteras, Swedish in 1947. The founder of
H&M, Erling Persson launched this brand with the idea of bringing
fashionable clotheswith affordable price to women. Therefore, he named
his store “Hennes” which means “hers” in Swedish. Erling rapidly opened 2
more stores in Stockholm in1952 and 1954, promising a potential
development of this brand in the future.
