Our biggest inspirations in this huge national endeavor intended to bring final, lasting change to this
country by the grace of God, are proudly and largely drawn from both Qur’an 2:42 and John 8:32. This
strange enterprise of great details, as reflected in just the topic or heading above, demonstrates first, our
fear for God, and next, our extremely honest appreciation of the very immense sacrifices made here over
the past decades by the United Nations, which God moved to come and lay the foundation for the kind of
change that our Revolution now aggressively advocates (meaning fundamental and structural changes to
this society). For instance, we aggressively disagree that the mighty UN spent over US$45 billion here in
different costs, from 1990 to date, 2021, and lost over 190 precious human beings here in peacekeeping
operations etc., just to maintain in place, at the end of the day, a very divisive state name, Liberia, a
mocking and disrespectful Declaration of Independence, some messy Constitution, a long list of
illegitimate national symbols, emblems, and holidays etc., NO, NO, and NO. For 7 years of intensive
research into this very nightmarish 2-century-old Liberian story strongly confirms to us that all of the
plagues and curses currently devastating this country – ranging from grinding poverty, to untold lack of
development, to chronic moral decadence across society, and to extreme lack of independence and
sovereignty etc., not to mention the 13 full-scale ghastly civil wars that have wrecked our country
between 1822 and 2003, with 4 bloody coup d’états between 1871 and 1985, plus 1 blood-splattered
national riot, all yet for a total of 18 BLEEDING national experiences that took up over 30 years of our
existence etc., do convincingly owe largely to our society’s willful or conscious, but sorrowful suppression
of mighty TRUTH in favor of great LIES. With these great LIES overwhelming the entire country and
blocking every good thing from happening for God’s children here; and with the fact that “to every
action, there must be some opposite and equal reaction” for change to happen, as propounded by Isaac
Newton’s 3rd Law of Motion for instance, our Revolution is determined to redeem this country through
God’s Unbeatable Power by rising up to tell the TRUTH – no matter how embarrassing and dangerous,
and no matter against whom it is told, and even if this very ‘raw’ TRUTH telling works against our
personal selves, including, even if it breaks our cherished relationships with husbands, wives, fathers,
mothers, schoolmates, workmates, friends, and those sending us remittances from abroad etc. and etc.
And because Liberia is so tied to America every step of the way, the Liberian story can NEVER be
successfully told for the purpose of bringing honest positive change while leaving America out, thus
demanding the volume of information that we now have to confront if we truly want a change that will
inaugurate working systems, law and order, decency, civilization etc. in this country once and for all by God’s
grace. ***Note: Because we have discovered that a country’s matter can be so huge and serious, and can
normally be solved largely, by either: (a) using the barrel of the guns, or (b) using some massive soul-searching
national dialogue; and we prefer (b) over (a), this revolutionary Citizens’ Enlightenment Campaign is intended
to spark some great societal and even international debate that will ultimately lead us to some immediate,

Special Notes: (a) Please take the reading of these items very seriously as God needs everybody’s
attention and input now to either change this only country of ours’ (meaning “Liberia’s) situation
around for the better once and for all, or sadly, to deal it a big blow of punishment for stubbornly
refusing to change in 200 years. Remember that although Liberia was physically established in
1822, according to very credible sources, the act to create this US Colony in Africa was
nevertheless passed by the American Congress on March 3, 1819, and it still maintains this ‘US

s the demands of our Revolution are all-inclusive and all-representative of each citizen’s
supreme interests, with the arguments and positions of this campaign for society proving
positively ambitious and well-placed etc., while the colonial system conceived and setup

for any of these big dreams and aspirations of our Revolution for country, not to mention how
this colonial system will be grossly unable to ever tolerate – in good faith – the kind of
roadmap that we have designed by God’s grace to realize these big dreams for our society and
people etc. and etc., it should never be strange to anyone that this revolutionary journey upon
which we have already embarked for the sake of God’s Children in this country will be a very
difficult and rugged one, a journey on which we will have to go the extra-mile in order to
succeed, by the grace of God. Remember that everything in life, from the setup of great
nations, to the establishment of big businesses etc. all derive from a dream, and remember too
that it takes real struggles and fights for dreams, especially big ones that cover many persons’
interests, to ever be realized. You may recall in the Bible for instance, the stubbornness that
was exhibited by the powers-that-be, the kings/Pharaohs of Egypt, to ever let free the children
of Israel out of hundreds of years of captivity etc. in order for these people to be able to realize
their part of dreams and true potentials in life – the meaning of living life abundantly. This
situation is almost the same for every group of people on the face of the Planet today, whereby
some kind of professedly superior force will sit over the fate and destiny of another group of
people, and some sort of fight or struggle must go on, in order for the suppressed group to ever
be truly free once and for all.
Having said that, let’s get back to our opening argument, relative to how much struggle awaits
us because of the kinds of things that our Revolution, through God’s guidance, has set out to
pursue and accomplish for our country and people, for which we are prepared to go the extra-
mile in our determination to succeed on this very difficult civic journey by the grace of God.
As such, please refresh yourself, or get yourself acquainted with the following goals and
dreams that we pursue for country through God’s grace: For example, our Plain Truth
Revolution is just simply saying among other things, that: it is time, for building for ourselves
a new national foundation (a new common vision and mission for our country, relative to its
obligation to citizens, and the handling of ongoing societal concerns). We are saying that it
is now time for a new name for our country, a new flag, a new proclamation of
independence and sovereignty, a new motto, a new constitution, a new national anthem, and
a new set of public holidays etc. For all these truly constitute the foundational pillars of any
society. We now demand a justice system that never again will be looking at the highest
bidder, or people’s last name, or their fraternities and brotherhoods. We are saying that it is
time for us to start thinking and acting for ourselves rather than the World Bank, IMF, and
USAID etc. always thinking and acting on our behalf (take for example what it means for a
so-called independent country’s Legislature to approve and seal some combined ETON
Finance PTE Limited and EBOMAF SA’s huge loan agreements for its development
purposes, approved by the President, which effectively makes it a law, then some World
Bank and IMF say NO, NO, “you don’t mean well for your people; in fact, you are

criminal, and only us can think and act well for your people, as we have been doing for
them since the mid-1900s etc., but NOT you, etc. and etc. and such intrusive foreign
interference holds against a claimed sovereign country during this day and age – a hint to
the informed and wise should be quite sufficient here!!!!). We are saying that it is time for
our children to go to good, quality schools, free of charge because we have got all of the
resources that it takes to make this happen; it is time for the operation of high quality
healthcare infrastructure and delivery systems in our country. We are also arguing that it is
time for our police people to wear clean, computerized uniform sets, and get good salary
every month, with all the 21st century policing equipment, including such things as modern
operations helicopters, brand new operations vehicles, state-of-the-art crime labs etc. bought
or paid for, by their own government, so that they can do their jobs without fear or favor –
and not people’s old things donated every time to them. We also need a huge army too, like
our friends, other countries, a military that must be well-schooled, and well equipped with
modern things. And why will we not be talking about such things as military helicopters, war
ships, war planes, and the list goes on, for a 199-year-old country’s army during this Golden
Age of the Silicon Valley? We need to now start building for ourselves good two-lane and 4-
lane roads with our own money, and start working towards building double-decker roads, as
others have already started constructing triple-decker roads – what’s about inner-city
underground tramways or railways as well? For airports, we believe that we can build for
ourselves multiple world-class airports all across our 43,000 square mile country – and all this
can happen, IF AND ONLY IF, we obtain our true independence, and stop thinking that
America is a god that will take us to our rightful destiny in this precious life, as a people, NO,
NO, NEVER. Our citizens, our children etc. need zoos to go to every weekend and holiday all
across this country so that they can be able to see for themselves, for instance: what a living
lion, leopard, elephant, chimpanzee, tiger, and even a boa constrictor looks like, and how these
mighty living things (wonderful handiworks of God) can move around and grab their preys, or
even play with human beings when properly tamed. This is entertainment, and NOT always
only stout and beer bottles in every corner, with unrestrained promiscuity being the biggest
outcome. We are also dreaming, and we know that it takes dream first, to make the reality
come about through effort, that we make it a matter of compulsion that our new system of
government starts with a mandatory unemployment benefit scheme for ALL working age
unemployed citizens, and disability compensation for ALL disabled and physically challenged
citizens etc. and etc.
Considering the kind of colonial system that we have here in place, a colonial form of
government imposed upon us here by America in 1822 just to continuously nest their eggs, a
system which only cares for, and uncontrollably enriches a pretty tiny portion of the citizenry
that sit at the very top of something called national government, which does the colonial dirty
work for America; but of course, a system which we will have to tolerantly confront; engage;
convince; and patiently work with every step of way during this huge civic endeavor before
any of our great dreams for country and people is ever realized by the grace of God etc. and
etc., it should be clearly evident to ALL that this journey will be even much rugged than
perceived, as those currently enjoying this system, along with their master, will be dead set to

protect their ‘pepper bush’, as we say here in our local parlance. Take for example the
following common characteristics of our colonial system and government at paly here as we
speak:
While every legitimate and serious country is established to develop, cherish and seek the best
out of life for each of its citizens – NOT only for its government officials and their relatives,
stooges, and other connections alone etc., Liberia’s part of colonial governing system works in
the completely opposite direction. First of all, the colonial meaning of government here is a
place where people go to get ultimately delivered from the grinding poverty and destitution of
the larger Liberian society. Government is a place for going to pursue riches just anyhow it
comes. In fact, the whole thing is about a small group of people putting themselves together,
and with the support of the colonial master, imposing themselves upon the rest of society, as
the masters, while keeping the balance 99+% of the citizens as their perpetual slaves, who
deserve nothing good out of life etc. And the established channel used to sustain and
legitimize all this is fake elections. Moreover, serving as the solid foundation for this
unfortunate societal nightmare with the misunderstanding of government, although initiated
and sustained by American colonialism, is Liberia’s original sin of ETHNOCENTRISM, a sin
from which almost all of the country’s other woes have derived since its bogus establishment
in 1822, and continues, in different, more exacerbated shades and proportions, up to this date.
This is a bloodily negative societal culture that teaches people to always feel better than the
rest of their compatriots. ETHNOCENTRISM teaches people to always feel that they deserve
better than the rest; they are more meaningful or special, while the rest of the people are just
nothing etc., and ALL this, as earlier mentioned, are things that were consciously implanted
here by America of course. In fact, in one of our articles, we forcefully rationalized that
official Ethnocentrism in Liberia can be blamed for three of this colony’s most crippling
societal vices, which include: (a) the Unspeakable Suppression and Marginalization of the
Natives, who constitute 98+% of the country’s population; (b) An established societal culture
by which government and its operatives generally treat citizens very cruelly and abnormally,
something which the current Chair of the ruling Party, Mr. Mulbah Morlu did refer to once
as “Misanthropy”; and (c) A societal way of life by which most of the so-called political and
opinion leaders just openly insult citizens like their pets and domesticated animals.
Because of the strategic agenda of the Americo-Liberians against the Natives, which is to keep
the Natives as either sub-humans or second-class citizens forever, even though on their own
soil (meanwhile the Natives constitute over 98% of the population, as said earlier, while the
Americo-Liberians, especially the original ones, are less than 2% of the population); and
because this inherently cruel, less than 2% group, with predominantly criminal pedigree, is the
colonial surrogate that wields almost all the political powers in the country, and thus is in an
almost complete control of the Liberian society etc., the human rights situation, and the way
that human beings generally behave to one another in the country, especially, the way the
Americo-Liberian machine called Government, set up to terrorize and dehumanize the
Natives, does treat human beings in this country etc. can be compared to a society of animals
and not humans – this is with all due respect to our always suffering Tribal people, and
without prejudice to a few good Americo-Liberian apples as well. Just as the US Congress

predicted aggravated mischief to characterize Liberia’s existence over 200 years ago
according to the Niles’ Weekly Register, and as key Congressmen like John Randolph of
Virginia and Henry Clay of Kentucky stressed with vigor, that the society which their
unwanted Blacks, the Johnsons, Tubmans, McClains, King and Bernards are going to establish
in Africa will be so mischievous beyond description etc., the very HATED Natives are the
ones unfortunately bearing the brunt of this mischief, as they (i.e. the Natives), interestingly
have sadly been criminally enticed with their own national resources, and made to join the
Americo-Liberians to work against their own people under the canopy of government – with
some Natives sadly going to the extreme in this contract, to work personally against immediate
Native family members if that’s what it takes – OH WHAT A CRIMINALLY CONFUSING
SITUATION!!!. So, human beings; mainly the ordinary people here, are treated like animals,
and this trend is exacerbated by the day, as technology and global sophistications heighten. To
restate this very grave argument for clarity once more, we say, because of the coming together
of these two unfortunate scenarios of: (a) the hated group constituting over 98% of society,
and (b) the hating group and power wielders of society constituting a very small percentage of
society etc., this pretty few (less than 2%) Black American elite, plus a small set of Native
loyalists and ‘contractors’ – placed under the canopy of a so-called national government –
have just been, and continue to wreak untold havoc on the larger population in different forms
under the pretext of running government. This is a living proof of the cruelty and “aggravated”
mischief that the US Congress did predict in 1817 to be the hallmark of immediate ‘future’
Liberia, according to Hezekiah Nile’s Weekly Register’s edition of April 12, 1817.
The many bloody observations about this American-imposed division within our society, as
briefly summarized above, is an enough reason for which NONE of the many goodies that we
dream about for our people through the Plain Truth Revolution will EVER be realized with the
current system of things, or the status quo.

But if you want more cogent proofs from the horses’ own mouths to back why we say here
that it will be impossible for the current colonial system to allow the many good wishes of our
Revolution for country to ever be realized – with this being the key purpose for which; instead
of establishing a civil society organization, or a political party and so forth, to pursue these
great dreams for country and people etc., we are rather operating as a Movement or an
Assembly etc. and etc., then please check out just these 6 statements or proofs, about the
strategic agenda of the Americo-Liberians against the Natives of this country, immediately
below. Note that these 6 accounts are distinguished, or treated separately from what Liberia
has already officially placed within her Declaration of Independence and her maiden
Constitution about this deep strategic agenda against the Indigenous People of this country, all
of which were cleverly brought forward to her so-called 1986 Constitution. Here is just a tip
of the iceberg, with the following sample of 6:

a) New York-based History Professor, Dr. James Ciment describes the Americo-Liberian
treatment of the Natives, as embedded in the strategic agenda of the country, as Liberia’s
“Original Sin.” (http://online.wsj.com...)
b) Sir John Simon of the British Foreign Service wrote on May 29, 1934 that it would be a
NEGLECT of the [West’s or Humanity’s] duty to civilization if the misgovernment of the

c) Dr. Charles Johnson of the League of Nations wrote, “Liberia [is] a nation conceived
solely as a haven for freed American Slaves at the detriment of the vast indigenous
majority (Idem)
d) The League of Nations, in its 1930 – 1931 report on Liberia concluded, “The Government
of Liberia is systematically fostering a policy of gross intimidation and suppression of the
Native in order to prevent him from [ever] asserting himself in any way whatsoever, for the
benefit of the dominant and colonizing race, although originally the same stock as
themselves.”
e) Then with respect to how justice is dispensed in Liberia from 1822 up to date, here is how
the United States Department of State has almost always painted the real picture since it
started publishing its human rights report on Liberia in 2008 or so. This account represents
a one paragraph summary of their 2014 and 2015 reports, which are among the very latest
of these reports; and, in addition to their explicit emphases on the culture of impunity and
ethnic discrimination being norms and official practices in Liberia, these both reports’
executive summaries’ first lines each read, “…The most serious human rights abuses were
those LINKED TO LACK OF JUSTICE, judicial inefficiency, corruption, lengthy
pretrial detention, DENIAL OF DUE PROCESS, and harsh prison conditions..” etc.
But since it’s always a good idea to provide considerable levels of proofs every step of the
way while we make these huge, bloody claims that justify all of our approaches in this big
Revolution, God willing, please just reflect upon the two accounts provided below, relative to
all the issues stressed, or in further proofs of the claims made in point (a) to (e) immediately
above, before we move on to the next section of this all-important engagement:

➢ Cllr. Thompson ‘Ade Bayo’, head of a local watch group, speaking on the conditions of
Liberian prisons, for instance, especially after visiting the Monrovia Central Prison, once
expressed these observations, including: (a) Liberian prisons are a place where inmates
prefer death to life; prisons here are virtual chambers of death, rather than correction
centers; they are a place where people are chained like during slave days, and at present,
over 700 inmates are there under pre-trial detention – some for between 2 to 5 years
now”…. Imagine Mr. Thompson was referring to just one of these prisons, the Monrovia
Central Prison, which hosts around 2-4,000 inmates, although reliable sources claim that it
was actually built to accommodate a very maximum of 4 to 500, and it is located within the
so-called 1822 capital, at the very seat of government. One can picture what’s happening in
the rest of this very dark country/colony with respect to prisons and prisoners. (ELBC,
August 18, 2015) *Note meanwhile that the renowned Russian novelist and journalist,
Fyodor Dostoevsky has rightly said, “The degree of civilization within a society can
[simply] be judged by [just] entering into its prisons.”
➢ Illegitimate President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, appearing as guest on UNMIL Radio’s Talk
With the President, December 1, 2015, rained enough insults, as usual, on the population

and generally referred to the people at different times of this engagement as either LIARS,
VIOLENT PEOPLE, and BAD people. For example: (a) when show host Torwon
Sullunteh asked, ‘what’s about the too many complaints from different quarters that you
are not doing much for the country?”, Ellen replied, in the Liberian parlance, “The people
who’int got nothing to do; the people who’int got nothing to offer etc. are the ones making
all this noise; (b) Addressing concerns about how Liberia is conducting the fight against
Ebola that the virus had resurfaced for the 3rd time now, Ellen boasted about the capacity of
her government to now tackle the disease, and then insulted the citizenry in the process, as
she defended her government by asserting, “Some of the suspected Ebola cases in the ETU
don’t even want to leave from there now because they are eating free food [all day]”; (c)
Asked about whether her government can handle security as the UN leaves, especially with
the prevailing security tensions, uneasiness and concerns, as a result of this UNMIL draw
down development, Ellen replies, “The ‘hola hola’ not from UNMIL, it’s coming from
Liberians, who are [generally] just bad and violent.” We pause here.
But as a result of these and many unfortunate national woes relative to the treatment of fellow
human beings, or the general Nasty perceptions towards other human beings – negative things
all of which make up the very foundation of this Black American colony, Liberia is never
stable; its fragile peace, often sustained temporarily by external actors, normally lasts for a
maximum of 5 to 6 years or so, after which the country is sadly back to some hostilities or
some bloody national crisis.
In further justification of our current approach, after years of intensive researching, our
Revolution has established that ALL of these grave societal vices, some of which are
mentioned above, are also being largely emboldened and sustained by Liberia’s social
contract items, including the country’s very name, its declaration of independence, its
constitution, its seal, motto, and holidays etc. That’s why the colonial power, America, or the
US Government, and her surrogate, the Americo-Liberians (working through the Government
of Liberia) are dead set in their determination NEVER to allow any of these social contract
items of Liberia to ever be changed, despite Tolbert’s and Ellen’s efforts to even revise them,
although we are clearly categorical that Ellen’s part of efforts were just largely pretentious, as
compared to Tolbert’s. According to our years of research, a common national identity, or a
set of common national identities is a very key requirement of legitimacy, or we will say here,
national legitimacy. National symbols and emblems are the most important tools for common
identity and social cohesion, and all of their dividends: because, among other benefits,
objective and all-inclusive national symbols and emblems do the following fundamentally
important things for any society, country, or a group of people, including:
1. They embody the principles and desires of all citizens (not only the Americo-Liberians, as
in Liberia’s case)
2. They engender the commitment of all citizens to unanimously pursue common purposes
and goals
3. They hold the mirror to the values of the country
4. They propagate the messages from national strategic plans to each citizen
5. They steer each citizen in the same direction

6. They ensure the psychological integration of each citizen into the national whole, or the
body politic, which is the first step to social cohesion and national unity
7. They make all citizens to place justified confidence and faith within their country and
government
8. They create a complete sense of belonginess in every citizen to their country
9. They are a reflection of how justice is dispensed to each citizen, and how the opportunities,
wealth, and privileges of a country are shared among each citizen; and finally for now,
10. They improve the performance of each citizen in all of their daily affairs etc. and etc.
But sadly, for reasons that we have been able to sufficiently discuss in our other articles,
including America’s use of Liberia for mere capitalist or business gains, sometimes very
criminal gains at that rate, and Liberia’s current lack of independence yet from the US
Government etc., none of these symbols, including this country’s very divisive name itself, has
been changed in 199 years now, even though the very America, that Liberia’s so-called
political leaders and societal front runners claim to come from, does change these important
societal foundation items on a very regular basis, in order to reflect changing times and other
justice-related concerns.
Similar to the argument presented in the first few pages of this engagement, we say: (a)
because of the very ambitious nature of the goals and aspirations that our Revolution pursues
for country and people, inclusive of how much work is now required to wipe off the huge filth
and bloody legacies of these decades and decades of American colonialism and Americo-
Liberian official cruelties in this country, and then (b), considering the kind of colonial
governance system that we currently have here in place, against whose policies and dictates,
these great goals and aspirations of ours for country will have to be pursued and achieved, God
willing etc., the need for a new, great leadership and governance roadmap and culture can
never be overlooked in this new, huge civic enterprise. Accordingly, because of our conviction
that no matter how deep and difficult problems are, in addition to strong determination and
faith, it only takes the application of great governance and leadership principles to have them
resolved by God’s grace etc., here are our governance and leadership roadmap provisions for
this strongly envisaged national rebirth by the grace of God, all bundled under the acronym
SEPTOR or Septuplet for Total Rebirth, which includes the 7 arguments outlined below.

But the premise for this SEPTOR can first be laid here by saying: Although we have
convincingly established that Liberia has almost everything about collective life turned upside
down from the very beginning; and sadly, that this curse of keep having everything terribly
turned upside down continues unabated up to date, for which a complete revolution is the
ONLY way out of our situation by the grace of God, our Revolution aims however, to first
tackle these 7 key issues. As such, we do demand the official approval and onward
commissioning of these 7 revolutionary provisions at a proposed, but equally demanded
National Rebirth and Constitutional Convention, or if you may, a Sovereign Citizens’
Convention to be held as quickly as possible (i.e. between now and 2022 latest, God willing),
at which event, full and bolder national debates into these issues will be conducted, with
results adopted, and that all other new adjustments, provisions and amendments to our new

national framework will be considered for action. Provisions within our SEPTOR, which place
more emphases on what today’s scholars call “juristocracy” or the judicialization of politics
therefore, are as follows:
1. A national mandate or resolution declaring (or re-declaring if you may) our independence.
This is because we have adequately proven that what we have here is NEVER any true
independence at all. For a few criminals, under colonial master influence and guidance, just
assembled themselves somewhere and imposed some limited level of sovereignty upon
themselves just for their own personal gains and those of the colonial master. We must gain
our true independence from America and her Americo-Liberians now.
2. A national mandate for the rewriting of a completely new constitution.
3. A resolution/national mandate for the complete change of name for our country, and a
redesigning of all of its existing symbols and emblems
4. A national resolution for the compulsory and immediate setting up of a Claims Court under
our new national arrangement
5. A two-part national resolution instating or commissioning a massive Transitional Justice
Process, firstly mandating the commissioning of some formal proceedings against the
United States Government in pursuit of reparations, which must comprise two
components: (1) a written apology from the U.S Government for all of the wrongs that they
have committed, and continue to commit against our country and its people, as shall be
authenticated at these proceedings; and, (2) the construction of a new world class capital
city, with modern zoning standards, connected to all 15 counties’ capitals with paved, 4-
lane roads. The second part of this very important national resolution will then be the
mandate commissioning some formal, or legitimate proceedings against the Americo-
Liberian ethnic group in pursuit of a 100-year ban from politics and governance for all
of their cruel activities against the indigenous population and their complete failure to ever
put up any form of sound and responsible leadership and self-governance in this place, for
which our country can boast of ABSOLUTELY NO substantial achievement in any sphere
of life for its very old age, and for which all of our strong revolutionary demands for a total
rebirth of this country have become bloodily non-negotiable by the grace of God. These
claims plus more will be established and authenticated at the proposed proceedings.
6. A national resolution or mandate unconditionally transitioning our body politics and other
social phenomena, including Economics importantly, and governance etc., from the
current 200-year long colonial, ‘individual surname-based, and parochial design, to a rather
serious, and more progressive design, based on Ideology. The first two, and most important
adoptions under this mandate will be firstly, the unconditional replacement of the
unproductive and imperialist Presidential form of Democracy that we now have, to a
Parliamentary Democracy wherein we will have some ceremonial president (called head
of state), though with reserved powers, and a Prime Minister to head the Government,
meaning the Executive and the Legislature, which importantly here, will be a unicameral
Legislature of small, but equal number of representations from each one of our existing 16
recognized ethnic groups, plus 3 new ethnic groups that our Revolution has now
established to be legitimate, but that the current cruel, bloody and fake Americo-Liberian

System will never grant them their legitimacy and due recognition. The next change under
this Resolution #6 of course, will be a compulsory national switch from the current
colonial and confusing form of economics – Laissez-Faire Capitalism – to a clearly
defined, ‘blend of the best of both worlds’ kind of Mixed Economic System that will lean
more on Socialism and Communism (especially utilizing concepts from Marxism-
Leninism) to now take us from zero to hero, in terms of economic prosperity and
advancement, but under our new national arrangement, God willing.”
7. A national resolution on the compulsory and immediate setup of a Ministry of Civic
Education, to begin operations concomitantly with the coming into being of the new
nation. This will be the most staffed and the busiest of all ministries in our new country
from the word go, until later, or relatively forever.
The last unnumbered agenda item of course will be Miscellaneous, which will include any
other key point not mentioned within our SEPTOR.

Cognizant of the fact that no one can ever make omelets without breaking eggs, or put
another way, that drastic times call for drastic measures etc., with all this being compelling
reason why any SERIOUS people who really mean business MUST be able to take matters
into their own hands in order to make change happen, God willing, especially a difficult
change for that matter, we like to state our unwavering preparedness, with God’s power and
grace, to apply more radical, non-violent civil disobedience strategies and approaches to make
big things happen along this extensive and difficult civic journey by the grace of God. We
therefore like to now throw some light on first, our consciousness about, and then our approval
of non-violent civil disobedience, where and when necessary, all through this campaign, as
follows.

But first, before going into this Non-Violent Civil Disobedience issue, it’s good to know that
instead of operating as some “Liberian-styled” legal civil society organization, as we hinted
earlier on, we prefer operating as an Assembly of like-minded citizens, or better still, a Social
Movement, in order to sustain the following arguments about our mode of operation,
including: (A) Under the argument of operating as an ASSEMBLY, for those who may not
understand what we mean by this, or those who may dispute that people can accomplish great
things for country while acting as an Assembly etc., we like to first draw your attention to the
following definitions of the word ‘Assembly’ from the Merriam Webster Dictionary version
6, which apply more to our mode of operations, as compared to Liberia’s version, vision and
understanding of civil society organizations and activities, as follows: (1) Let’s start with the
verb form, Assemble, which variously means: – (a) to bring, or summon together into a group,
crowd, company, assembly or unit. (b) To fit together various parts of, so as to make into an
operative whole. (c) to come, or meet together in a group, company, assembly, or unit, often
purposively, and sometimes formally etc. (2) Then let’s bring in the noun form, our main
focus, Assembly, which too can be variously defined by the same source above as: – (a) a
formal social gathering; (b) a company of persons collected together; (c) the state of being
assembled; (d) a company of persons collected together in one place, usually for some

common purpose (including for deliberations, legislation, worship, or entertainment etc.). (e) a
Legislative body, specifically the Lower House of a Legislature [in most countries etc.].

Then on our argument in favor of being considered a Social Movement, or Movement for
short, we are proud to include the following brief explanations about why we chose this
nomenclature over some formal institution, or some registered civil society organization, as
Liberia will want us to operate.

To start with, the book, “Introduction to Sociology – 1st Canadian Edition”, in its 21st
Chapter, titled, “Social Movements and Social Change”, depicts or defines Social
Movements as purposeful (meaning: focused, resolute etc.), and organized groups, that strive
or work toward a common goal, with their 3 most common goals in history and current events,
normally being either: (a) attempting to create societal-wide change (for example, the Occupy
Wall Street Movement, or the Arab Spring etc.), (b) to resist change (for instance, the anti-
globalization movement), or (c) to provide a political voice for those that are disenfranchised
by an existing system (for example, the US Civil Rights Movements). Thus, the writer asserts:
that through either: (a) endeavoring to create societal-wide change, or (b) working to resist
some change, or (c) ensuring to provide some political voice for people that have been
disenfranchised by existing systems etc., Social movements definitely create social change
worldwide.

For its part, the article “Building Movements, Not Organizations” at https://ssir.org/ expounds
the realistic argument that creating a healthy, humane, and decent society, including a decent
world at large, does require the collective efforts of both movements and organizations, with
movements being considered relatively informal institutions, while organizations are branded
as relatively formal institutions in this article. It goes on to both make some clear distinctions,
and then to draw out some similarities between what constitutes a movement, and what
constitutes a formal organization or institution as follows:

a) In a movement, the mission defines the ultimate goal that the group intends to achieve.
When a movement achieves success — “Mission is accomplished!” – and everyone goes
home. And if there’s a need to continue, then they will have to reorganize and reorient or
re-orientate themselves. But for an organization, the mission defines “what we do.”
Success in an organization means that everyone gets to stick around, and work towards
more and more of success!

b) Movements define success globally; meaning, if a movement is successful, things change


for everyone [in society, or within a specific region]. Organizations, on the other hand,
often define success internally, or for that single unit or group alone.
c) Movements seek sweeping change, as stated earlier, but organizations on the other hand
are often satisfied with incremental improvement, correctly understanding that one entity
cannot achieve large-scale change.
d) In movements, accountability is to a cause greater than any one individual. When it
comes to making tough decisions, the overall cause of the movement is its top priority.

In organizations, accountability is first to the organization; when leaders are faced with
tough decisions, their top priority is organizational sustainability, not societal
sustainability.
e) The word “movement” means “to create action”; to go from one place to another while
spreading and sustaining this action. Sustaining a movement is about sustaining action.
As per the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, the word “organization” means “the act, or the
process of putting the different parts of something together in a certain order, so that they
can be found, or they can be easily used.” So sustaining an organization is about
sustaining order, [not necessarily continuous actions, or moving here and there to
sustain action, as is required for sustaining a Movement] etc.

In the final analysis here, it’s very important that we all understand that Social
Movements, as indicated by the Sociologists and other civic authorities, are mainly loose,
informal, and inflexible organizations, not the normal “agree-with-the-status-quo’ kind
of institutions like the civil society organizations, that we are all normally used to. When
the ‘handle’ or attachment, ‘revolutionary’ is added, Revolutionary Social Movements are
movements that largely disagree with the status quo, and even compete with the status
quo on the great subject of legitimacy, and they are not necessarily an armed rebellion
[although some revert to the use of force to achieve their goals, and some target the
takeover of government to ensure ultimate success etc.]. For example, renowned Western
Social experts like Gabriel Hetland and Hildy Gottlieb, in their separate articles of “How to
Change the World: Institutions and Movements Both Matter”, and “Building Movements,
Not Organizations” respectively argue that it takes well-designed alternative institutions
and robust popular or social movements to create a better world. Madam Gottlieb for
instance says, “Looking back over the past century however, the world has indeed
experienced sweeping social changes, and those successful efforts were led NOT by
individual organizations, but by social movements. Then Gabriel for his part, concludes in
his article by rhetorically saying, “Changing the world takes more than everything that
any one person knows, but not more than what we all know together – including
Movements and formal institutions. So let’s work together”. Madam Gotltlieb is
meanwhile an Arizona-based Social Scientist and outstanding contributor to both the
Huffington Post and the Stanford Social Review, while Mr. Gabriel Hetland is Assistant
Professor of Latin American Studies at the University of Albany, New York, where he
combines ethnographic and comparative historical methods to study democracy. Defending the
rights of movements to exist, and fight for change, as slightly paraphrased here, South African
anti-Apartheid activist, Steven Biko once argued conclusively for this point: that an
organization could be co-opted, infiltrated, or outrightly banned [by the powers-that-be,
because it has totally placed itself under the effective jurisdiction of this power, unlike a
movement, which is constructively disagreeing with the authority of this power]; and as
such, movements were much more necessary to achieve freedom in South Africa as
compared to formal institutions etc.

Taking into constructive account all of the above, while we of the Plain Truth Revolution
know that we are associating in this radical and innovative societal change process, and that
Association Laws normally require a group of people wanting to engage with society (like
what the Plain Truth Revolution is now doing) to do some legal registration to function or
operate with ease – as either an incorporated or unincorporated association/institution etc.,
– we are also conscious, especially after having been enlightened by the few passages above,
of the fact that citizens coming together under a banner to mainly demand, or effect certain
mass changes across society, and not intent upon being a permanent institution etc., do not
need to do any legal registration, or to be incorporated. A living domestic example is
Liberia’s current Council of Patriots; while historically, others include America’s
Revolutionary Patriots of the 1770s, among a long list of others. Imagine the American
Revolutionary Patriots of the 1770s going to their colonial government of the day, being run
from Great Britain, to apply for legal registration document in order to demand America’s
independence from Great Britain.

While we question the honesty and legitimacy of Liberian laws, whether out of this colony’s
usual deceit or false pretense however, its Constitution’s Article 17 for example gives all
citizens, AT ALL TIMES, the right to peaceably assemble. And further, as superior as
international laws are, several key international law instruments such as the United Nations’
Universal Declaration of Human Rights, its International Covenant on Economic, Social,
and Cultural Rights, and its International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights etc. – all
emphatically give us among others: (a) the right to assemble and associate with one another;
(b) the unhindered right to hold opinion and impart knowledge and information of all kinds
(except one intended to mobilize for war), and using any medium of our choice, and (c) the
right to create for ourselves, among the comity of nations, conditions that will make our
national or group life better, and not those imposed upon us by other people from elsewhere
etc.
With respect to our use of the word “Revolution, we have repeatedly clarified its very justified
use in our country’s current situation. For example, we have said elsewhere in our works that
taking into the account the fact that almost ALL English words, just like in any other language
for that matter, do have more than one meaning, and that people do assign the right, or
befitting meaning to a word among its different meanings, based upon the context in which
that word is being used at the time etc., we provided multiple definitions from a couple of
credible sources as follows, of the word Revolution, including:
I. From Wikipedia online, (1), a “Revolution”, from its original Latin word, “Revolutio”, is a
significant turnaround that results into major changes within the culture, economy, and the
social and political institutions of a country or region;

II. From the Meriam Webster Dictionary, (2) a Revolution is an alteration or change in some
matter, or respect, as: (a) a sudden, radical, or complete change [as within a society]; or a
basic reorientation and reorganization; (b) a fundamental change in political organization,

or in a government, or constitution: the overthrow or renunciation of one government, or


ruler, and the substitution of another by the governed etc.

III. From the Oxford Dictionary of Current English, revolution has 4 meanings, which are:
(3) the overthrow of a government, or a social order, by force, in favor of a new system; (4)
a great and far-reaching change; (5) motion in orbit, or in a circular course around a central
point; and (6) a single movement around a central point.

In fact, one reliable source simply defines Revolution variously as: (7) any idea that comes to
take a whole people, or a whole country by storm (like for example the Industrial
Revolution, the Information Technology Revolution etc.); or similarly, (8), any exercise that
comes to claim everybody’s attention almost at once, and/or, to demand everybody’s input and
action one way or the other, at a particular time etc. and etc.

We have repeated that from these multiple, largely interrelated definitions of the word
“Revolution” above, our Plain Truth Revolution only distances or disassociates itself with the
“By Force” phrase within the Oxford Dictionary’s version above, but that each of the other
points stressed within the rest of the 8 or so definitions either directly or indirectly falls in line
with our current dreams and aspirations for this country, and thus matches our understanding
and use of the word “Revolution” without any fear, by the grace of God.
Then regarding the tactics, approaches, actions and so forth needed to effect a revolution, as
we introduced or hinted in our position on page 10 above, we remain quite aware that NO
social change has ever come about by people keeping to obey, obey, and obey the powers-that-
be, which in the first place: are the ones who have authored the wrong system of things,
and/or, are the ones sustaining and protecting the status quo tooth and nail; and finally, when
they are the ones who control this problematic status quo that has compelled the need for a
revolution etc., but that: AT certain TIMES, we MUST constructively DISOBEY the powers-
that-be in order to make genuine change happen. This of course, brings in the debate of non-
violent civil disobedience, a key tool of our Revolution as well, which we have firmly
established to be: spiritually, morally, and legally justified.

Here we go with some relative details on this critically important revolutionary tool of Non-
Violent Civil Disobedience, although it’s important to quickly clarify beforehand that the
actions of the ‘authorities-that-be’ can sometimes, or normally turn it into violent civil
disobedience.

The root word Civil Disobedience according to Wikipedia is the active, declared refusal of
a citizen to obey certain laws, demands, orders or commands of a government or an
occupying international power, like in the case of Liberia wherein the US Government
colonially runs the affairs of our country through some imperialist structure called the
Government of Liberia. Ronald Dworkin, American Constitutional Lawyer, and Frank
Henry Sommer, Professor of Law and Philosophy at the New York University held that there
are three types of civil disobedience, including:

• Integrity-based" civil disobedience, which occurs when a citizen disobeys a law that he or
she feels is immoral, as in the case of abolitionists disobeying the fugitive slave laws by
refusing to turn over escaped slaves to authorities.
• Justice-based" civil disobedience occurs when a citizen disobeys laws in order to lay
claim to some right denied him or her, as when blacks illegally protested during the civil
rights movement.
• Policy-based" civil disobedience occurs when a person breaks the law in order to change a
policy (s) that he believes is dangerously wrong.

And although civil disobedience is considered to be an expression of contempt for some


existing law (s), Martin Luther King Jr. regarded civil disobedience to be a display and
practice of reverence, or ultimate respect for law; as, in his words: "Any man who breaks a
law that conscience tells him is unjust, and he willingly accepts the penalty [for such breach]
by staying in jail in order to arouse the consciousness of the community on the injustice of that
law [etc., such person] is at that moment, expressing the very highest respect for law."
According to some Social Science experts, even a good form of government is "liable to be
abused and perverted before the people can act through it." Moreover, even if a government
did express the voice of the people, this fact would not compel the obedience of individuals
who disagree with what is being said. The majority may be powerful, but it is not
necessarily right, thus, there must be some room left for civil disobedience.
In seeking an active form of civil disobedience, one may choose to deliberately break
certain laws, such as by forming a peaceful blockade, or by occupying a facility
‘illegally’, even though sometimes violence has been known to occur. Often, there is an
expectation to be attacked, or even to be beaten by the authorities. Protesters often undergo
training in advance on how to react to arrests, or to attacks. Other sociologists, as such, have
also developed the concepts of a Revolutionary or non-Revolutionary Civil Disobedience.
According to this concept, Non-revolutionary civil disobedience is a simple disobedience of
laws on the grounds that such laws are judged "wrong" by an individual’s conscience, or as
part of an effort to render certain laws ineffective – so as to cause their repeal, or to exert
pressure to get one's political wishes on some other issue addressed. Revolutionary civil
disobedience on the other hand is more of an active attempt to either overthrow a government
(or to change the cultural traditions, social customs, or religious beliefs, etc. of a given society,
with the word overthrow not necessarily requiring the use of force or guns). Note that
revolutions don’t always have to be political; for example, there can be a "cultural
revolution", which simply implies sweeping and widespread change to a section of the social
fabric).
How much intimidation or coercion is required of the activists to make a civil
disobedient action effective has been an issue of debate as well. Some forms of civil
disobedience, such as illegal boycotts, refusals to pay taxes, draft dodging, distributed denial-
of-service attacks, and sit-ins, for example make it more difficult for a system to function. In
this way, they might be considered coercive. Canadian Philosopher, renowned for her works
on conscience, conviction, civil disobedience, the ethics of sociability, ideals, and virtue etc.,
Kiberley Brownlee, for example, notes that "although civil disobedients are constrained in

their use of coercion by their conscientious aim to engage in moral dialogue, nevertheless
they may find it necessary to employ limited coercion in order to get their issue onto the
table." As examples of using some form of necessary coercion to get points through to the
table for dialogue, the Plowshares organization for instance temporarily closed GCSB
Waihopai, a secure communication facility located near Blenheim, New Zealand, and run by
the New Zealand’s Government’s Communication Security Bureau, by padlocking the gates,
and using sickles to deflate one of the large domes covering two satellite dishes. Further,
threatening government officials is another classic way of expressing defiance toward the
government and unwillingness to stand for its policies. In this regard, Joseph Haas for
example, was once arrested for allegedly sending an email to the Lebanon’s city councilors in
New Hampshire stating, "Wise up or die."
According to Wikipedia, there have been debates as to whether civil disobedience must
necessarily be non-violent always. In response to this concern, while the Black's Law
Dictionary includes, or places emphasis on non-violence in its definition of civil disobedience,
a Christian Bay's encyclopedia article states that civil disobedience requires "carefully
chosen and legitimate means," but holds that they do not [always] have to be non-violent.
It has been argued that, while both civil disobedience and civil rebellion are justified by appeal
to constitutional defects, rebellion is much more destructive; therefore, the defects justifying
rebellion must be much more serious than those justifying disobedience, and if one cannot
justify civil rebellion, then one also cannot justify a civil disobedients' use of force and
violence, and their refusal to submit to arrest. Civil disobedients' refraining from violence is
also said to help preserve society's tolerance of civil disobedience nevertheless. The
philosopher and American Roman Catholic prelate, H. John McCloskey argues that "if
violent, intimidatory, coercive disobedience is more effective, then it is, other things being
equal, more justified than less effective, nonviolent disobedience." In a related narrative, in
his best-selling, Disobedience and Democracy: Nine Fallacies on Law and Order, New York
Historian and playwright, Howard Zinn takes a similar position; Zinn states that while the
goals of civil disobedience are generally non-violent, in the inevitable tension
accompanying the transition from a violent world to a non-violent one, the choice of
means will almost never be pure, and will involve such complexities that the simple
distinction between violence and non-violence does not suffice as a guide ... He continues,
the very acts with which we seek to do good cannot escape the imperfections of the world
which we are trying to change. Zinn rejects any "easy and righteous dismissal of violence",
noting that David Thoreau, the popularizer of the term civil disobedience, approved of the
Armed Insurrection of John Brown,, the 1859 Torrington, Connecticut-born American
Abolitionist who said that speeches, sermons, and petitions were accomplishing nothing; and
that Moral Suasion is hopeless, and that he saw violence as unfortunately necessary if slavery
in the United States were to be eliminated etc. Zinn also notes that some major civil
disobedience campaigns which have been classified as non-violent, such as the Birmingham
campaign, have actually included elements of violence etc.
As you may have now sufficiently seen, because we have so much to accomplish, and because
of this, we also risk so much difficulties and dangers to encounter and endure along the road to

achieving these great goals and objectives in the supreme interests of all of the human beings
in this country – from past to present, and to our long future generations, God willing – our
approaches and actions will assuredly be strange, unconventional, and even somewhat
ridiculous in the eyes of many at times. Some of our detractors, instead of constructively and
honestly looking at the other side of the coin – like for example, looking at how NASTY and
UNCIVILIZED this colonial society of ours is, and how God’s children continue to suffer
countless shocks in this country as a matter of norm etc., will rather dishonestly and unfairly
regard us as anarchists, confusionists, seditionists, troublemakers, and so forth, while the
powers-that-be, working along with the colonial master might be tempted, to sometimes
unfairly and maliciously bring charges against us for all of the biggest crimes on the books,
just because of our assertiveness to pursue these great dreams in everyone’s ultimate best
interest by the grace of God. This will not be strange.

Take this typical case of how the Americo-Liberians here do use their small, faint laws on the
books, as weapons of coercion and terrorism, just to get at people whom they have issues with,
or people whom they hate. As a typical case in point, according to the Cllr. Dempster Brown
of the Center for the Protection of Human Rights, on the 27th of May 2015, in connection with
some protest action in Sinoe County, over 20 persons were rounded up by the Police and jailed
on 8 charges. He said the victims were people who were merely protesting for their own,
legitimate rights, but government, through the police, later mischievously decided to add a 9 th
charge on their charge sheet, which was arm robbery, just to deny them bill, and keep them in
jail indefinitely because arm robbery is a first degree felony, and is unbillable. At the time, Mr.
Brown said, the conditions of these people in the cell were deteriorating daily, to the extent
that one of them, Fred Thompson, had to die from persistent torture by the security
authorities. He said that one lady whose twin sons were among the illegal detainees dropped
and died instantly before the prison facility when authorities denied her of her due right to see
her two children. Cllr. Brown further said that some government officials, including the county
superintendent, were behind the ill-treatment of their own citizens. He said that these local
officials were now in the business of collecting monies from the communities in the name of
some bond fees to free their kinsmen (Local Radio News, August 19, 2015)

But we like to strongly clarify here for those who may want to look at us from a rather
negative lens; those who may want to describe our actions and approaches as rebellious or
seditious; those who may be tempted to wrongly think that our actions and approaches are
against the greater good and interest of society, and thus counter-productive etc. – all because
these actions and approaches are not in tune with what this society has been used to for 200
years now, or in tune with the colonialist status quo etc. and etc., that our actions are well-
researched and well-intentioned. For after taking years to read, reflect, analyze and craft all of
our theories, arguments, plans, actions, or roadmap in general, by the grace of God, we are
firmly confident that these theories, arguments and approaches of ours are all spiritually,
morally, and legally justified taking into account the grave issues that we now have at hand,

and the kinds of stakeholders that we have to work with. Here we come now with our proofs,
as we approach the somewhat long closing section of this all-important article.

I. ALL OF OUR INTENTIONS, ADVOCACIES, DEMANDS, AND


APPROACHES ARE SPIRITUALLY JUSTIFIED
To this we say, although we have a separate article on our complete spiritual backing (posted
at https://is.gd/xawace, because of the weight attached to the SPIRITUAL aspect of this
Revolution, and our conviction that spirituality, morality, and legality are seriously intertwined
(especially agreeing with one of the judges at the Nuremburg Tribunals in Germany in the
mid-1940s, when he asked some of the parties to the ongoing case, saying: “But gentlemen, is
there not a Law above our laws?” etc., we like to include additional spiritual elements of our
Revolution here as follows:
(A) We have a Transitional Justice piece within our Revolutionary debate, which we attach so
much importance to. We hope that our people will NOT forget the prime importance that God
attaches to JUSTICE as the biggest thing that we should take very seriously if we ever want to
enjoy the land that He has given us. In this vein, we always love to reemphasize such Biblical
reminders as Deuteronomy 16:20, even beginning with verse 18, then Proverbs 16:12 etc., as
authoritative reasons for why nothing is working for us in this country, and why, with this
curse of nothing good working for us, we keep posing bloody danger to ourselves, our sub
region, and the world over. From the Islamic angle, Qur’an 5: 8 says: O you who believe, be
upright for God, and (be) bearers of witness with justice. Note: An Islamic scholar, making
remarks on this point says, “the Holy Qur’an considers justice to be the highest virtue, further
quoting Qur’an 16:90 or part of it, or interpreting it as saying that God commands justice and
fair dealing in all that we do.” etc.
(B) Our forceful demand for Liberia to now reconstruct a new, better and sustainable
foundation, using God’s eternal principles of TRUTH, LOVE, and JUSTICE etc. is highly
spiritually-justified as Jesus Christ, for example, said in Luke 5 that we should not learn to
place new wine into old bottles, while the Quran in Surah 9:109 warns against keep struggling
with a proven faulty foundation as the end result will be disastrous, among others

(C) Our Revolution, with its full knowledge of the source of government being spiritual, and
knowing that God did set up this institution of government for it to mainly direct, organize,
arrange, or simply order the civil and physical lives of His children, and with our knowledge
of the key meanings of the word government, some of which we are going to make available
below, and additionally, with our knowledge that without a good sense, including a good
understanding and practice of governance and government etc., our society will remain
DOOMED and GLOOMED forever, and even moreover, with our knowledge that the
colonial master does seize her targets’ sense of understanding this noble institution, and the
practice of government from the colonized, so as to keep them in some slave-related checks
and reins forever etc. and etc., has set out by God’s grace, as part of our search for true
independence once and for all from the United States, to immediately fix this institution of

government in line with God’s Words. This is too key to our Revolution, knowing the
criticality of the role that Government plays in the lives of God’s children, and in forwarding
God’s Kingdom, as Devil, while it loves to first seize this institution because of the many
powers that God has given this institution, it, meaning Mr. Devil, is never the creator, nor is he
the one that is responsible for sustaining this noble institution, let alone will he be the one to
judge this institution and its actors in the end – all these are the work of our Almighty
CREATOR. So we will assiduously work to fix this institution in our country – through His
grace and power – as part of our ongoing freedom and independence campaign.

To throw some detailed light on the spiritual criticality of this institution of government here,
according to the Japanese-American, Mr. Michael Young-Suk Oh, Executive Director and
CEO of the Lausanne Committee for World Evangelization, in an article entitled, “The
Purpose and Role of Government, [According to the Bible],” which can be found at
https://www.esv.org/...., the 3 primary duties that God assigned to the institution of
Government to perform include:
1. God instituted earthly government for the good of all people
2. God intends government for the sanctification of his children
3. God instituted government for His glory
Brief Proofs follow:
1. God Instituted Earthly Government For The Good Of All People: From the account of
(Rom. 13:1–2), every ruling authority that exists has been established by God, meaning that
the institution of government is noble, and is God-approved. Human government is a derived
authority. Those in authority are described as “the servant[s] of God” (Rom. 13:4) and
“ministers of God” (Rom. 13:6). Those who reject governmental authority reject God’s
authority (Rom. 13:2). It is also a limited authority, as those in power hold their power
because of God (John 19:10–11), and can be removed by God (Ps. 75:7; Dan. 2:21). Such
derived and limited authority is to be exercised for the good of all people (Rom. 13:4).
Here are three specific ways in which government serves the common good, or the good of
everyone, and not a few, like it unfortunately does in Liberia only for the so-called elite in the
GOL, and their few stooges, plus colonial master, America:
✓ God provides earthly justice and protection through Government.
✓ God set up Earthly Government to act on behalf of all people
✓ God set up Governments to create a social space for the display of good conduct
(a) God provides earthly justice and protection through Government.
Civil governments act as God’s agents of justice. Romans 13:4 says, “For he [meaning the
magistrate, or the government as a unit] is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out
God’s wrath on the wrongdoer.” Ultimate justice and vengeance belong to God alone
however, (Deut. 32:35; Ps. 94:1; Rom. 12:19; 1 Thess. 4:6), but governments “bear the
sword” (Rom. 13:4) to carry out earthly justice against wrong acts and wrongdoers.

Romans 13:5 says moreover that our subjection to political authorities is not merely “to avoid
God’s wrath, but also for the sake of our conscience”—that is, obeying the government
grants peace, not only to those in authority (over us), but also to our conscience (within us).

The largest-scale expression of the power of the sword (Rom. 13:4) is in the waging of war.
The clearest Biblical justification for war is to defend the citizenry from “those who do
evil”, as implied in (1 Pet. 2:14), who could come from within, or come from outside. Various
principles can be applied from Scripture concerning the circumstances that justify war,
however.
(b) God set up Earthly Government to act on behalf of all people (Rom. 13:4).
This is not merely an issue of social justice, as based on secular human rights; but is
essentially rooted in the purposeful and gracious creation of humanity by God Himself, and in
His own image (Gen. 1:26–27). It is right, therefore, for Christians to seek to influence
governments to protect society’s weakest members, including the poor (Ex. 23:6),
foreigners (Ex. 22:21; Deut. 27:19; Zech. 7:10), and the helpless (Ps. 82:3–4). The life of
unborn children, in particular, as image bearers of God, and as the weakest members of
society, ought to be protected. Psalm 139 celebrates the mystery of God’s creative work of
generating life in the womb, while other texts in the Bible condemn the harming of unborn
human life (Ex. 21:22–23; 2 Kings 8:12; Amos 1:13). Note that this is NEVER done through
abortion alone, but largely through lack of good governance and government, which
endangers the life of all future generations, like in the case of colonial Liberia.
Another realm of governmental protection and stewardship is the care of God’s material
creation. Humanity was given the responsibility as caretakers to “work” and “keep” the
garden (Gen. 2:15). In recognition that God has created all things (Genesis 1; Ps. 24:1),
humans are called to steward the rest of God’s creation, and political leaders are to wisely
direct and oversee the proper use of earthly resources. This is sadly never the case with
Liberia’s colonial government, 1822 to date.

(c) God set up Governments to create a social space for the display of good conduct
God instituted government to establish an ordered and peaceful social space where not only: is
judgment carried out, but good behavior and good conduct are recognized and encouraged (see
1 Pet. 2:14). Government leaders should not be “a terror to good conduct” (Rom. 13:3).
Rather, as Paul states, “Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what
is good, and you will receive his approval, for he is God’s servant for your good” (Rom. 13:3–
4).

This is true for all people, but especially for Christians. Ordered and just social spheres
should be forums for obedience to the first greatest commandment, which is: “You shall
love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and with all your
mind” (Matt. 22:37). It is right to desire and seek religious freedom as Christians; however,
civil governments should neither compel allegiance to, nor forbid the practice of any particular
religion, whether Christianity or any other faith. Jesus makes a clear distinction between
spiritual and political authority (Matt. 22:21; John 18:36). So what makes obedience to this

first greatest commandment is the facilitation of ordered and just social spheres rather than
compelling allegiance to specific faiths or religions.
Well-ordered social space should also allow for obedience to the second greatest
commandment, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself” (Matt. 22:39). By such love,
the light of the gospel shines forth through God’s people, and by God’s grace, many will be
turned “to righteousness” (Dan. 12:3; see Matt. 5:14–16; Eph. 5:8–9) etc.
2. God Intends Government For The Sanctification (purification, cleaning up,
consecration etc.) Of His Children
Throughout world history, various governments have been, to greater and lesser degrees, a
challenge to Christians and the church. Often these situations have been used toward the
sanctification and good of God’s people (see Rom. 8:28). OBEDIENCE AND
DISOBEDIENCE TO CIVIL GOVERNMENT AT THEIR APPROPRIATE TIMES
ARE BOTH CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR OUR BLESSING AND
GOD’S GLORY.
Even though our obedience is not in response to the worthiness of the leaders, it is in joyful
submission to the One who is worthy and Who calls us to be subject to civil authorities (Rom.
13:1; 1 Pet. 2:13–14). Obedience is not always easy, but it can be used as a part of our
sanctification. AT TIMES, HOWEVER, CHRISTIANS MUST CHOOSE NOT TO
OBEY GOVERNMENTS OR LAWS, WHEN SUCH OBEDIENCE WOULD MEAN
DISOBEDIENCE TO GOD. FOR CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE IS JUSTIFIED WHEN
AUTHORITY IS EXERCISED IN WAYS CONTRARY TO GOD’S EXPRESS
PURPOSES AND COMMANDS FOR HIS PEOPLE. INDEED, MANY TIMES
PERSECUTION AND MARTYRDOM HAVE ACTUALLY FUELED REVIVAL AND
GREAT SPIRITUAL ADVANCE AS PART OF GOD’S WISE PURPOSES (SEE GEN.
50:20; PROV. 19:21) etc. Then finally for now:
3. God Instituted Government for His Personal Glory
All things exist under the sovereignty of God, and serve not only the good of human beings,
but also God’s ultimate purpose of eventually bringing glory to His own Name (Ps. 115:1–2;
Prov. 16:4; Isa. 42:8). Government, too, has been instituted by God not only for the good of
humanity, but also for the glory of His name. We can see such glory in both the expression
and the limitations of civil government, in its universality, sovereignty, and temporality
etc.
This brings us to the argument presented at the beginning of this section which claims that
God ascribed to governments 3 additional, and key characteristics that define the subordinate-
Superior (or in fact, subordinate-Supreme), or creature-Creator relationship between humans
and Him, God, which He sought to reflect through the attributes of earthly governments. As
such, we say, in addition to these 3 big goals and objectives above, of government, as designed
and directed by God Himself (which again are basically: (1) to work for the good of all human
beings, including the provision of justice and protection for all human beings on God’s behalf,
(2) to work for the sanctification and orderliness of all human beings, and (3) to bring glory to
God’s Name), He also meant to use this noble institution to demonstrate some common
characteristics of the relationship between Him and His creation, including the diversity

of His children, as reflected in the diversity of civil governments, and how they
implement their policies, and the limitation of worldly authorities, as He has created
them. Three of such demonstrations or reflections are as follows:

A. God intends Governments to reflect some Global diversity and Ultimate Human
Limitations, that all, at the end of the day, bring definitive glory to His Name
God created the world with incredible diversity and beauty (Genesis 1–2). Such variety in
creation displays His power, creativity, and glory (Psalm 8; Rom. 1:20). Similar glory can be
seen in the diversity of cultures, languages, and governments. Variety throughout the world
in governmental style, form, and function can bring glory to God, as long as the
particular government in question is operating within God’s defined purposes for
government. The vast global scope of political authorities is astounding.
At the same time, the varied governments of the world have geographic, authoritative,
and location-specific limitations. Every attempt at global unification under a single
recognized authority has failed, and will fail, until the global diversity of the nations finds its
ultimate purpose in worship of the King of kings and Lord of lords (Ps. 86:9; 1 Tim. 6:15;
Rev. 15:4; 19:16).
B. God intends Governments to reflect some Sovereign expression, but also coupled with
Limitation, that brings glory unto His Name.
The authority and sovereignty of civil government, which is real, even if delegated and
limited, instructs us about the kingdom, rule, and reign of God. The exercise of power,
authority, and judgment, whether just or abusive, encourages a longing in humanity for God’s
more perfect kingdom. In the limitations of what government can, and cannot do, what it will,
and will not do, and what it should, and should not do etc., there is the opportunity for an
increased awareness of humanity’s need for God and His Kingship. Where government is
unable, or unwilling to promote justice, the perfect justice of God remains holy and satisfying
(see Ps. 9:7; 103:6; Isa. 16:5; 30:18; Matt. 12:20).
C. Finally, God intends Governments to reflect some Temporal (meaning Chronological
or Time-based) expression and limitation.
God is sovereign over governments large and small, evil and good, long-lasting and short. “He
makes nations great, and He destroys them; He enlarges nations, and leads them away” (Job
12:23; see Ps. 75:7). While every earthly government will one day come to an end, God’s
kingdom alone shall never be destroyed, and never end (see Dan. 2:44) etc. But until that
day, we who are the people of God are to faithfully fulfill our responsibilities as citizens,
both of our respective governments and of Heaven (Phil. 3:20). Our prayer must be the
prayer of Psalm 72:11: “May all kings fall down before him, all nations serve him!” Our
message is the gospel message of the kingdom that is to be proclaimed to all nations and until
the end comes (Matt. 24:14) etc. and etc. for now.
Looking at these pretty similar concerns, meaning civil governments’ root from God, or from
God’s Words, and so forth, according to Wikipedia and other credible sources, a good Islamic
version, or proof of this desire by God to set up an institution, or to design some framework to

order the lives of His children through the use of formal codes and systems was demonstrated
by Prophet Mohammed himself, peace be unto him. History narrates that in 622 CE, in
recognition of his claims to prophethood, Muhammad was invited to rule the city of Medina.
At that time, the local Arab tribes of Aus and Khazraj dominated the city, and were in constant
conflict. Medinans saw in Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) an impartial outsider who could
resolve the conflict. Prophet Muhammad and his followers thus moved into Medina, where he
drafted the Medina Charter. This document made Muhammad the ruler (political leader), and
recognized him as the Prophet of Allah. The laws that Muhammad established during his rule,
based on the revelations of the Quran, and the beliefs and doings of the Prophet himself, are
considered by Muslims to be Sharia, or Islamic law, synonymous with the Moses Law of
Christian’s Old Testament, and today, some Islamic movements still seek to establish these
laws within their societies. Prophet Muhammad gained a widespread following and an army,
and his rule expanded first to the city of Mecca, then spread across the Arabian Peninsula,
through a combination of diplomacy and military conquest.

After the death of Prophet Muhammad, his community needed to appoint a new leader, giving
rise to the title Caliph, meaning "successor". Thus, the subsequent Islamic empires were
known as Caliphates. Alongside the growth of the Umayyad Empire, the major political
development within Islam in this period was the sectarian split between Sunni and Shi'ite
Muslims; and this had its roots within a somewhat political dispute over the succession of the
Caliphate. Sunni Muslims on the one hand, believed that the caliphate was elective, and any
Muslim might serve as one. Shi'ites, on the other hand, believed that the caliphate should be
hereditary, in the line of the Prophet, and thus all the caliphs, with the exception of Ali, were
usurpers. However, the Sunni sect emerged triumphant in most of the Muslim world, and thus
most modern Islamic political movements or establishments (with the exception of Iran) are
founded in Sunni thought. In other articles of our Revolution, we connected these dots to
establish how the two most important, or widely known sources of power, or means of how
political power is obtained in this world today, which are either through electoral contest or
through hereditary succession, came about from, or are highly related to this religio-political
Sunni-Shi’ite-split over succession to the caliphate. But apart from these somewhat historical
narratives, the Holy Quran, directly, is replete with accounts of God’s expressed desire for
chosen men to govern His children and dispense justice to them on His behalf through similar
framework as Government. Take for example the following three Surahs, namely: (a) Surah
6: 165 – ,which reads, “And it is He (God) who has made you successors (Khalifas/Califas)
upon the Earth, and has raised some of you through what He has given you above others in
degrees (ranks), so that He may try you through what He has given you; (b) Surah 2:124 –
And remember when the Lord of Abraham tried him with certain commands which he fulfilled.
Allah said to him (Abraham), “Verily I am going to make you a leader of mankind. Abraham
said, “And my offspring”? [Then] Allah said, “My providence includes not wrongdoers.”, and
finally for now (c), Surah 38: 26 – [God said], “O David, verily, I have placed you as
successor (Khalifa/Califa) on the Earth, so judge between men with justice.” etc.

And related to our repeated claim that Mr. Satan, as it can do with other creations of God, even
with the very churches and mosques, or places of worship in general, this bad guy can hijack
the institution of government as well, in fact this is its biggest target and achievement thus far,
including using the colonial master to do this hijacking, to suffer God’s children forever, and
even send them to Hell in their millions and millions as his ultimate goal etc.; and as such,
certain proven wrong designs and understandings of government must be resisted, as you will
now agree with us. Liberia’s colonial design of government unfortunately falls into this
NASTY category, and MUST now be peacefully resisted. Our current forceful demand for the
redesign and reinstitution of Government in this country, to transcend the current colonial
design to a more productive and self-determined design, is thus highly spiritually justified as
the relatively short narrative above has proven.

(D) Our decision to cast blame in this Revolution is spiritually justified. For we believe that
when we constructively and seriously lay some strong, objective blame right now, and this
blame game culminates fortunately for us, into some roundtable engagement, many benefits
will accrue from such debates/engagement if responsibly and honestly conducted, including:
(a) a clear understanding of where all of the faults lie in this country’s bloodily sorrowful
situation; (b) a commitment from wrongdoing parties, or largely wrongdoing parties, to change
course; (c) a recognition of our full rights by the wrongdoers to better treatment henceforth, (d)
an expression of some remorse from the wrongdoers, accompanied by some apology, and (e)
the making of some restitution or reparations by the wrongdoers etc. In the Bible, Proverbs
18:18 and Jonah 1:7 etc., all explicitly instruct, or suggest the power of casting lot, which
in a sense, equates to casting some blame. And for paying reparations as a way of redressing
too much of proven wrongs, which falls as well under our Transitional Justice piece
mentioned earlier on, the Bible is replete with examples or mentions restitution and
reparations, including those in Numbers 5:7-8; 6:12; 18:9; II Kings 12:16, and Proverbs 14:9
etc.

(E) And because of our difficult discovery, and hard-earned knowledge that none of the big
dreams and good intentions that we now have for our society and people will ever work if all
that we have to do during this Revolution, or this great search for solution, is to obey, obey,
and obey the powers-that-be, or the status quo, and their very laws and policies, which
everyone well knows by now DO NOT serve the interest of the vast majority of our people,
with all these being some compelling reasons for which we MUST be prepared to peacefully
and constructively DISOBEY some of their dictates and policies etc., we have researched
and established that Non-Violent Civil Disobedience or Civil Disobedience in general, is
well spiritually justified depending on what is at stake. You can please find out for
yourselves by going through the next few pages. And since this is a critical issue and a critical
success factor, we are delving into it a bit further.

Regarding how the Bible comes in to support Civil Disobedience,

Civil Disobedience” discloses that there are at least three general positions on the issue of civil
disobedience; namely, (1) the Anarchist View of Civil Disobedience, (2) the Extremist
Patriot’s View of Civil Disobedience, and (3) the Biblical Submission View of Civil
Disobedience. (A) The Anarchist View says that a person can choose to disobey the
government whenever he likes, and whenever he feels that he is personally justified in doing
so. Such a stance, this site says, has no Biblical support whatsoever, as evidenced in the
writings of Paul, in Romans 13.
(B) The Extremist Patriot or Extreme Patriot says that a person should always follow and
obey his country, no matter what the command. For this view also DOES NOT have biblical
support, the Biblical experts here assert. Moreover, this view is not supported in the history of
nations. For example, as we partly mentioned earlier on, during the Nuremberg Trials in
Germany in search of some justice after World War II, the attorneys for the Nazi war
criminals attempted to use the defense that their clients were only following the direct orders
of the government, and therefore could not be held responsible for their actions. However, one
of the judges dismissed their argument with the simple question: “But gentlemen, is there
not a LAW above our laws?” (C) Then comes the Biblical Submission View - the position
that Scriptures uphold, with a Christian being allowed to act in civil disobedience to the
government if it commands evil, such that it requires a Christian to act in a manner that is
contrary to the clear teachings and requirements of God’s Word.

To the effect of this 3rd view, or relative to this 3rd view, here are up to 8 examples, probably
among many more, of key acts of civil disobedience recorded in the Holy Bible, and listed
here in some order of gravity:
1. Daniel records a number of civil disobedience examples. The first is found in chapter 3
where Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego refused to bow down to the golden idol in
disobedience to King Nebuchadnezzar’s command. The second is in chapter 6 where
Daniel defies King Darius’ decree to not pray to anyone other than the king. In both cases,
God rescued His people from the death penalty that was imposed, signaling His approval
of their civil disobedient actions.

2. After Peter healed a man born lame, Peter and John were arrested for preaching about
Jesus and put to jail. The religious authorities were determined to stop them from teaching
about Jesus. However, Peter said, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to give heed to
you, rather than to [Him], God, you be the judge; for we cannot stop speaking about
what we have seen and heard” (Acts 4:19–20). Later, the rulers confronted the apostles
again and reminded them of their command not to teach about Jesus, but Peter responded,
“We must obey God rather than man” (Acts 5:29).

3. In 2 Kings, the only apparently approved revolt against a reigning government official is
recorded. Ahaziah’s mother Athaliah, began to destroy the royal offspring of the house of
Judah. However, Joash, Ahaziah’s son, was taken by the king’s daughter and hidden from

Athaliah, his royal grandmother, so that the bloodline would be preserved. Six years later,
Jehoiada gathered men around him, declared Joash to be king, and put Athaliah to death.

4. In Exodus 1, the Egyptian Pharaoh gave a clear mandate to two Hebrew midwives that they
were to kill all male Jewish babies. An extreme patriot would have carried out the
government’s order, yet the Bible says that the midwives disobeyed Pharaoh and “feared
God, and did not do as the king of Egypt had commanded them, but let the boys live”
(Exodus 1:17). The Bible goes on to say that the midwives lied to Pharaoh about why they
were letting the children live; yet even though they lied and disobeyed their government,
“God was good to the midwives, and the people multiplied, and became very mighty.
Because the midwives feared God, He established households for them” (Exodus 1:20–21).

5. In Joshua 2, Rahab directly disobeyed a command from the king of Jericho to produce the
Israelite spies who had entered the city to gain intelligence for a battle. Instead, she let
them down via a rope so that they could escape. Even though Rahab had received a clear
order from the top government official, she resisted the command and was redeemed from
the city’s destruction when Joshua and the Israeli army destroyed it.

6. The book of 1 Samuel records a command given by King Saul during a military campaign
that no one could eat until he, Saul had won his battle with the Philistines. However, Saul’s
son Jonathan, who had not heard the order, ate honey to refresh himself from the hard
battle the army had waged. When Saul found out about it, he ordered his son to die.
However, the people resisted Saul and his command and saved Jonathan from being put to
death (1 Samuel 14:45).

7. In 1 Kings 18, when Queen Jezebel was killing God’s prophets, Obediah took a hundred of
them and hid them from her so that they could live. Such an act was in clear defiance of the
ruling authority’s wishes.

8. In the book of Revelation, the Antichrist commands all those who are alive during the end
times to worship an image of himself. But the apostle John, who wrote Revelation, states
that those who become Christians at the time will disobey the Antichrist and his
government and will refuse to worship the image (Revelation 13:15) just as Daniel’s
companions violated Nebuchadnezzar’s decree to worship his idol etc.

Meanwhile, we are instructed by the Bible to obey all authorities, as in such Scriptures as
Romans 13:1-7, which reads from the New World Translation, as follows: (1) Let every person
(or soul) be in submission to the superior authorities; for there is no authority, except by God;
the existing authorities stand placed in their relative positions by God. (2) Therefore, whoever
opposes the authority has taken a stand against the arrangement of God; those who have taken
a stand against it will bring judgment unto themselves. (3) For those rulers are an object of
fear, not to the good deed, but to the bad. Do you want to be free of fear of the authority?
Keep doing good, and you will have praise from it. (4) For it is God’s minister to you for your
good. But if you are doing what is bad, be in fear, for it is not without purpose that it bears the
sword. It is God’s minister, an avenger to express wrath (punishment) against the one

practicing what is bad. (5) There is therefore compelling reason for you to be in subjection, not
only on account of that wrath (or punishment), but also on account of your conscience. (6)
That is why you are also paying taxes: for they are God’s public servants constantly serving
this very purpose. (7) Render to all their dues: to the one who calls for the tax, the tax, to the
one who calls for the tribute, the tribute (honor or acknowledgement); to the one who calls for
fear, such fear; and to the one who calls for honor, such honor. Peter writes nearly the same
thing in one of his two New Testament letters: “Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every
human institution, whether to a king as the one in authority, or to governors as sent by Him for
the punishment of evildoers and the praise of those who do right. For such is the will of
God that by doing right you may silence the ignorance of foolish men. Act as free men, and do
not use your freedom as a covering for evil, but use it as bondslaves of God. Honor all people,
love the brotherhood, fear God, honor the king” (1 Peter 2:13–17).

With all these kinds of authoritative instructions from the Bible and most assuredly the Quran,
as well, one may want to ask: what then is the point again, of getting involved with civil
disobedience, as even was done in those 8 examples above from the Bible itself? The
response of course is as simple as the inescapable fact that there is an enduring, or an always
ongoing struggle, or competition in this life between the forces of good, and those of evil, and
that each one of us is either fighting alongside one of these forces. Then of course, there is one
additional, and key related fact that Mr. Satan is an expert at hijacking God’s institutions and
His creation (including human beings), and using them to perpetrate his part of war against
God’s principles, God’s theories, and His children, PERIOD. And when this happens, true
children of God become duty bind to resist such Devil-hijacked institution or person (s), while
remaining prepared to suffer whatever pains or consequences are attached to this decision.
This counter-establishment or counter-conservative argument is also proven by the Bible. For
example: (a) Hosea 8:4 says – They have appointed kings, but not through Me; they have
appointed princes, but I did not recognize them. With their silver and their gold, they have
made idols to their own destruction. (b) Ecclesiastes 10: 16 – 18 (NWT) – (16) How terrible
for a land when the king is a boy and the princes start their feasting in the morning! (17) How
happy for a land when the king is the son of nobles and the princes eat at the proper time for
strength and not for drunkenness. (18) Because of extreme laziness, the roof beams sag, and
because of idle hands, the house leaks etc.

As noble and superior as God designed the institution of government, and the kind of
dominion that this institution has over all of God’s children, whether they believe in Him
[God] or not, when it becomes established from all reasonable doubts, that Mr. Satan or the
Devil, working usually through colonialist and imperialist designs and motives, has hijacked
this institution and put it under its near-complete control, working against the supreme interest
of God’s children, the masses, and teaching corruption, ethnocentrism, deceit, great lies,
dependency, and a long list of negative things which severely work against the wellbeing of
God’s children, and the glorification of His Mighty Name etc., as Liberia’s case sufficiently
proves since 1822, then it is time for His true children to rise up in righteous indignation, using
His principles, to set things right by His grace, and the appropriate, initial step in this direction,

for a proven non-independent country like Liberia, is to first fight for freedom, sovereignty,
and independence.
Relative to the above observation, please recount God’s children’s true assignment in this life,
in the following scriptural passages, among many more:
1. Ephesians 6:11-13 – (11) Put on the complete suit of armor from God so that you may
be able to stand firm against the crafty acts of the devil. (12) Because we have a struggle,
not against blood and flesh, but against the governments, against the authorities,
against the world rulers of this darkness, against the wicked spirit forces in the
heavenly places. (13) For this reason, take up the complete suit of armor from God, so
that you may be able to resist the wicked day, and after you have accomplished everything,
to stand firm.
2. II Corinthians 10:3-5 – (3) For though we walk in the flesh, we do not wage warfare
according to what we are, in the flesh. (4) For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly,
but powerful by God for overturning strongly entrenched things. (5) For we are
overturning reasoning, and every lofty (or arrogant, or disdainful) thing raised up
against the knowledge of God, and we are bringing every thought into captivity to make it
obedient to [that of] Christ.
3. II Timothy 3:16 – 17 – (16) All scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for
reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness. (17) So that the man
of God may be fully competent, [and] completely equipped for every good work. etc.
All of the above, and each one of their implications or insinuations is applicable to the day to
day existence of any group of people, including a nation, a state, or a country, whichever way
one prefers to call it. This is because the idea of people coming together to form a nation, a
state, or a country is designed by God, for which He is very much interested in what happens
to these geographic units. Let’s look for example at what is said in the Book of Acts. Acts 17:
26 - 27 say: – (26) And He made out of one man every nation of men to dwell on the entire
surface of the Earth, and He decreed the appointed times and the set limits of where men
would dwell. (27) “So that they would seek God, if they might grope for Him, although in fact,
He is not far off from each and every one of us.” God’s intentions for us, all of us who live in
these units, are good, but He channels these best wishes for us, including His Justice (which
we all are to respect and fear; His Care (to provide for all of us etc.), through the institution
which He set up, called Government. Here is a gist of some of God’s best wishes for us, His
children, in this mortal life, and within these geographic limits, under the leadership of civil
governments, or to be implemented by civil Governments:
1. Jeremiah 29:11 – For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for
welfare, and not for evil. (**For example, imagine the level of different social welfare
mechanisms at play in the most civilized regions of the world like Europe, America,
Oceania, parts of Asia etc., including things like unemployment benefits, disability
compensations, food stamps, and so forth)
2. Job 36:11 – If they obey and serve Him, they will live all their days in prosperity
3. Psalm 23:1 – God is my shepherd. I will lack nothing [good].

4. Psalm 34:10 – Even strong young lions have been reduced to hunger, but those seeking
God will lack nothing good.
5. III John 1:2 or just III Jn. 2 – Beloved one, I pray that in all things, you continue to
prosper and enjoy good health, just as you are now prospering…………. etc.
But again, in order for us to enjoy these best wishes of our Creator, especially in a more
holistic and sustained fashion across the board, we must strive to uphold His principles – both
in our individual lives and within our group lives, and it is only governments that can
ensure that all these become realities, because it is they that God has empowered with the
sword and all of the other requisite resources to make this happen (Romans 13:1-7) again.
Take for example below, among many more Quranic and Biblical verses, how much of
Justice, Honesty, and Truthfulness God requires of us living within these geographic units,
all of which civil Government are empowered and authorized to ensure:

1. Qur’an 5:8 – (as earlier stated, but from another translation here says) O you who
believe, stand up as a witness for Allah in all fairness, and do not let the hatred of people
deviate you from [what is] just. Be just, [for] this is closest to piety. Let’s not leave out the
earlier comment attached to this Surah by an Islamic scholar citing Qur’an 16:90 as
saying that God commands justice and fair dealing in all that we do”, for which he argues
that “the Holy Qur’an considers justice to be the highest virtue.

2. Qur’an 22:41 – referring to what constitutes good governance and a good leadership
culture, this Surah states: “Those who, if We grant them power in [the] land, maintain the
prayer, give the zakat, and bid what is right, and forbid what is wrong. And with Allah
rests the outcome of all matters.”

3. Proverbs 29:4 – By justice a king brings stability to a land, but a man seeking bribes
brings it to ruins.
4. Proverbs 29:12 – When a ruler pays attention to lies, all his servants will be wicked.
5. Deuteronomy 16:18-20 – (18) – You shall appoint judges and officers in all your towns and
villages that the Lord your God is giving you, according to your tribes, and they shall judge
the people with righteous judgments. (19) You shall not pervert justice. You shall not show
partiality, and you shall not accept a bribe, for bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and
subverts the cause of the righteous. (20) – Justice, and only justice you shall follow, that you
may live and inherit the land which the Lord, your God is giving you.

6. Matthew 23:23 – Woe unto you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because you give a
tenth of the mint, and the dill and the cumin, but you have disregarded the weightiest
matters of the law; namely, justice, and mercy and faithfulness. These things it was
necessary to do, yet not to disregard the other things etc.
7. Proverbs 16:12 – For it is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness: For the throne is
established by righteousness.
8. Proverbs 14:34 – Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people. etc.

All these good qualities and many more are to be custoded, facilitated, taught, encouraged and
enforced by civil governments, since they are the ones providing leadership for all, in this life.
Outside of the Bible and Quran, but also highly related to what they teach, and what we have
outlined above, is the Social Science’s concept of “Just Government”, the only quality and
condition of government and governance that can make life better for God’s children, en
masse, and a condition of government that colonial masters and imperial lords will never allow
in the lives of a people, or their subjects, like in the case of America never allowing such a
form of government to ever take root in their colonial Liberia if God’s true children don’t
stand up now to resist this, as the Plain Truth Revolution is teaching, by His grace. According
to the American Heritage Dictionary and other sources, 4 of the very key criteria of a just
government are as follows: (a) it must be honorable, fair, and consistent with what is morally
right in all of its dealings and actions; (b) it must place the interest of each one of its citizens
above all else, meaning above other things, and even above other people, relatively; (c) it must
impartially give to all men what they truly deserve; and (d) it must make it a binding duty to
protect all lives and property of every kind – tangible and intangible within its own borders or
under its jurisdictions etc..
Further, to make Romans 13:1-7 to work for a society as intended in Paul’s teachings, a just
government should create the condition whereby each citizen truly and justifiably develops the
following civic mindset, among others:
a) That all, not just a few, should work towards being good citizens, and accordingly should
be given the opportunity by government, and created the atmosphere by government etc. of
becoming such good citizens.

b) That every citizen, not just a few, should keep the law of the land, not running red lights in
them only to meet their personal, selfish ends, while expecting the others to obey.

c) Every citizen should regard officers of the law (for example, the Police, the Immigration,
the Army etc.) as friends of God, but not either: for some, as pigs, and for others, as cruel
people that work against them

d) Every citizen should honestly, although justifiably, look upon the judge in the courtroom as
a finger of God that moves under God’s authority, but not someone using their office or
courtroom power to get at people, or to cheat people of their due right, after taking bribes
from other party litigants etc.
Any government, like Liberia’s colonial government, that evidently overlooks their obligation
of ensuring that each of the above, among others, holds true within the society, is an Unjust
Government, and consequently illegitimate, or at least morally illegitimate. And remember a
key phrase within the US Declaration of Independence rightly requests us, true children of
God, to work to ALTER or ABOLISH ‘unjust’ governments, or one would add, unjust
forms of government. Now, even a 3-year-old child knows very well that all these conditions of
justness as required of a government are not the case in the colony called Liberia, and this will
NEVER be the case until we are free from the yoke of LIES and DECEIT, as implanted here in

1822, and perpetuated here since then, by now-sufficiently proven American colonialism and
imperialism. For John 8:32 has said, “and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you
free.” In fact, because the country, beyond all reasonable doubts, was established for criminal
purposes and sadly for criminals, based on a certain political, or social science theory called
historical institutionalism, it has been, and it will continue to be governed and sustained by
criminals or would-be criminals (conscious or unconscious), and elections will not change this,
but first and foremost, the attainment of true independence and sovereignty will change this by the
grace of God. If you think that we are lying here, then we will urge you to please honestly
compare the records of grandpa Joseph Jenkins Roberts with some of his later successors like
Bill Tubman, Samuel Doe, Charles Taylor, and Ellen Sirleaf etc. – for all these are highly
criminal characters because of historical institutionalism.

These are some of the very NASTY and ENDURING situations that the American Patriots in
the mid-to-late 18th century got overwhelmed with, for which they had to take matters into
their own hands to fight for their independence, even if it meant going on the battle field
against the most powerful nation on the Planet at the time, which was their colonial master,
Great Britain. Please catch a glimpse of how America’s independence fathers, the Patriots,
did succinctly describe the qualities and duties – in their declaration of independence
excerpted below – of the kind of government that the Quran, the Bible, the American
Heritage Dictionary and other sources are referring to in this article, for which they were
compelled to fight for their true independence to make such true form of government possible.
This excerpt of the US Declaration of Independence reads: “…We hold these truths to be
self-evident that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain
inalienable rights, among which are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, and that to
secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the
consent of the governed. [And] that whenever any form of government, becomes [so]
destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to ALTER or ABOLISH it, and to install
a new government, laying its foundation on such principles, and organizing its powers in such
forms as to them seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness….”

As we have pleaded the case all above, this kind of government can never come about on
silver platter, and as the Word of God does approve going to the extreme to ensure that the
right thing is done, or that the right thing, in line with God’s principles, does take place, we
must at times be prepared to go the extra-mile in ensuring that the right things happen by the
grace of God. As such, His Scriptures, apart from approving civil disobedience, also supports
the extra-mile step of engaging into a Just War, as the Catholics and other Christian
denominations do espouse, in ensuring that the right conditions for civilized human habitation
are created. So, when morally justified group interest, including self-determination and
freedom are now greatly at stake, that extremity that Senator Barry Goldwater of Arizona did
advocate once, as if he had consulted the Bible and the Quran well in advance, when he said,
“Extremism in pursuit of freedom is no vice, just as moderation in pursuit of justice is no
virtue” now becomes justified. The Just War Theory (AKA jus bellum iustum in Latin),
according to Wikipedia, is a doctrine or tradition of military ethics studied by theologians and
ethicists, policy makers, and military leaders that advocates that war be necessary, when

morally justifiable through a set of criteria. The criteria are split into two groups: (a) the right
to go to war (jus ad bellum) and (b) the right to conduct war (or jus in bello), and recently,
there have been calls for the inclusion of a 3rd category of criteria – to be called jus post
bellum, to deal with the morality of post war settlement and reconstruction. In Summary, the
Just War Theory postulates that war, even though is terrible, can sometimes be a good option,
depending on the gravity of what is at stake, and the responsibility that we owe to our people,
[in ensuring that the right thing happens, by God’s grace].
Even further to this, since this topic is so critical, as it takes into account a whole people’s
blood and their future etc.; from the subtitle, “Jewish War & Peace 101”, featured under the
main article "The Sword and the Plowshare as Tools of Tikkun Olam", excerpted and
reprinted with permission from The Shalom Center at https://www.myjewishlearning.com,
the author claims that looking back at the history of Biblical Israel, there are two very
important strands from which we need to learn, and with which we need to wrestle, relative to
their use of aggression. One is the strand of constant willingness to challenge and disobey
arrogant power or government, whether such power is found within a Pharaoh or found within
a Jewish king, and the other is the strand of the Israelites’ willingness to use violence –
sometimes hyper-violence – to advance the Jewish vision of a decent society. Throwing little
lights on each of these two strands, and starting off with the Israelites’ willingness to always
engage in civil disobedience for the right cause, he gives a couple of examples, most of which
we have already featured above, like in the case of Shifrah and Puah – the two midwives who
refused to obey Pharaoh’s order to murder Hebrew boy babies etc. Then regarding the other
strand, which has to do with the Israelites’ strong willingness to use violence, sometimes
hyper-violence, to advance the Jewish vision of a decent society, the author narrates that in its
vision of creating a decent society in a little slice of land on the eastern edge of the
Mediterranean, the Israelites over and over again counsel and approve violence, even
genocide. The sense that creating a decent society could only be done by military means is
a very strong strand of the Torah, the author exclaimed, although they (meaning the
Israelites) went about all these in quite disciplined and orderly fashions, as this site narrates.
With these kinds of powerful spiritual and mental enlightenments and much, much more, the
American Patriots of the 1770s justified that their Revolutionary War of Independence
(1775 – 1783), was not in violation of Romans 13:1-7, but was to add value to this scripture in
the life of its people. In a January 2020 article, “Was the American Revolution a violation of
Romans 13:1-7?”, featured at www.gotquestions.org, the American Patriots did justify this
war of independence in some relative detail, which we featured in our other articles.
However, during the years before the Revolutionary War, the issue of justified rebellion was
widely debated, with good men on both sides of the divide. Not surprisingly, most English
preachers, such as John Wesley, urged restraint and pacifism on the part of the colonists;
while most Colonial preachers, such as John Witherspoon and Jonathan Mayhew, fanned the
flames of revolution etc.

II. ALL OF OUR ACTIONS, DEMANDS, APPROACHES etc. ARE MORALLY


JUSTIFIED
(1) When we strongly establish that a country’s business is always a big and toxic issue, as the
lives, the blood, and future of countless millions are always at stake, for which people all over
the globe do normally solve their big country problems through either: (a) the barrel of the
guns, or (b) some serious soul-searching dialogue; and we choose (b) over (a), and to
convincingly prove this choice, we go to work for 7 years by the grace of God, to dig out
relatively ALL of the sticky issues of the country – ranging from its very poor pattern of
nutrition and feeding, to its messy history, its cruel and twisted politics, to its completely
‘upside down’ understanding of governance and government, not to mention its colonial
understanding of religion, and economics etc., and we don’t stop there, but provide alternative
solutions to each of these huge problems in cogent writing; and we still don’t stop there, but
deny ourselves of almost all of the pleasures and pleasantries of our youths and our lives in
general, and use our meager resources and ever-busy schedules to crystallize these pieces of
information and disseminate these findings, to the point of even taking these writings to our
people’s door steps etc., WE BELIEVE THAT WE NOW DESERVE A PLACE IN
SOCIETY TO BE SERIOUSLY LISTENED TO. In addition to all of the above, we continue
to demonstrate our preparedness, by God’s power and grace, to go to whichever length
constructively possible, to ensure that the Devil doesn’t hijack or suppress these good ideas of
ours for God’s children etc., for which we demand that we ourselves, in consultation with, and
with the participation and assistance of other proven honest stakeholders, will provide the
needed leadership at such conference, or the national dialogue which we are now demanding,
not leaving this lifesaving responsibility with those who have proven over the years never
capable of putting up any such objective and visionary leadership, like the colonial
governments of the day – without prejudice to some good people within this colonial
institution etc. and etc., we believe that our actions and approaches are MORALLY
JUSTIFIED well enough.

(2) If we establish that the issues of our country are so many, and all so bloody, with each of
such bloody issues exacerbating by the day; and we say, instead of keep moving with life the
same way that we have been wrongly moving for 200 years now, we should pause some
things, including continuous fake elections, continuous haphazard capital projects etc. for a
short while, and now pay some attention to the grave findings of our Revolution, and begin
putting resources together for this demanded National Dialogue, God willing etc., a demand
for which we are willing to mobilize resources to peacefully and constructively disrupt, for
example – these fake elections – to gain the required attention etc. and etc., we believe that our
actions and demands, which target the general good of society today and tomorrow, are
morally justified.

(3) When, based upon our powerful, new-found knowledge that the name, the Declaration of
Independence, the motto, the Constitution, the seal, the holidays etc. of a country constitute
both the national social contract items, or the citizens’ contract items of the country, and thus
the foundation of society, for which they are supposed to be clearly understood, explainable,

satisfactory, and representative of each citizen’s interest etc., especially after having learned
that the very colonial master who crafted all of these citizens’ contract items for us is in the
business of constantly changing theirs in order to continuously recognize and dignify all of the
citizens of their country, and so forth, but this same colonial master will cruelly be in the
backend, ensuring first off: that we don’t draft any of these vital societal foundation items for
ourselves, and secondly: that we don’t even temper with the ones that they have colonially
dishonestly drafted and designed for us 200 years back etc., and we say that we will go the
extra-mile to ensure that this NASTY situation is reversed by the grace of God, as its many
negative effects continue to bloodily impact our part of lives and those of our future
generations etc. and etc., then we believe that our actions and arguments are morally justified
well enough. We pause for now.

At the end of the day, in line with these positions and convictions of ours, here are some of
what other authoritative people and sources before us, and even during our very times, have
got to say about these same things that we are saying or arguing, or these same positions that
we are now taking. For these contributions help to inspire our moral strength in this battle,
enough reasons why we can further claim that our work is morally justified: For instance:

a) While this particular account may sound like being confused with our spiritual defense, it
is rather a good example of how morality is organically rooted within spirituality, or
put another way, how these both are mutually inexclusive. James 4:17, as such, has said,
“Therefore, to him who knows [how] to do good [or who knows the right thing to do at the right
time], and does not do it, to him, [or against him], it is sin.

b) Then the 17th century French playwright, Jean Baptiste Poquelin, CKA Moliere did say,
“It is not only what we do, but also what we do not do, for which we are held accountable.”
This also means that people, like us, are not only responsible or accountable for the actions
that we take, but that we are also responsible and accountable for the kinds of actions that
we should have taken, but did not take at all; the things that we knew were good and
beneficial for everyone at certain time, but we just refused to do them, mainly for selfish,
personal, or some emotional reasons.

c) The great Ethiopian Emperor, Haile Selassie for his part did say, which we are really
inspired by too, that: “…Throughout history, it has been the inaction of those who should
have known better, the silence of the voice of justice when it mattered most [etc.], that has
made it possible for evil to triumph.”

d) Renowned South Korean institutional and development economist Ha Joon Chang says:
“Indeed, willingness to challenge the professional economists and other experts is the
foundation of [a true] democracy. If all that we have to do is to listen, [listen, and listen] to
the experts, then what is the point in having a democracy?”

For example, in the case of our Revolution, after we have researched and established firmly
that the whole idea of Liberia is false and full of LIES and DECEIT; in fact, Prof. Dr.

Amos Sawyer has even strengthened this argument for us by authoritatively declaring that
“the whole idea of Liberia is flawed (faulty, defective, broken, or out of order etc.) in
conception, design and implementation” etc., if all that we will do, is to just read, read, and
marvel at these grave and scaring research findings, then what’s even the point in being a
child of God, before getting to the aspect of being a citizen of a country, or mentioning
trying to build a solid democracy on our own.
e) For the German-born Swiss-American polymath, Albert Einstein, he says: “The world will
not be destroyed by those who do evil, but by those who watch them without doing
anything.”

What’s about words of encouragement that embolden these moral justifications of ours to
effect change within our society – no matter our perceived weaknesses, lack of adequate
education, fears, and other emotions:

f) President John F. Kennedy once encouraged, as slightly paraphrased here: “Anybody can
make a difference for their country, so everyone should try.”

g) For Father Brown – a fictional British Roman Catholic Priest and amateur detective, he
did once say: “Remember that a lone amateur built the ark, while a large group of
professionals built the titanic.”

h) Australian Social Media Consultant, Simon Mainwaring, encouraged us as follows, with


some slight paraphrasing too that: “As we approach each of the great social challenges of
our time, we must acknowledge that old thinking will never provide us the new solutions
that we desperately seek. These new solutions even though, will be very uncomfortable,
hard to sell, and risky to execute, but the cost of not selling and executing them will be
even much greater.”

i) A US Liberia Embassy Official, Madam Sheilla Paskman, in July 2014 offered her candid
advice to us by saying: “in order for us to attend to our huge societal problems in this
country (“Liberia”), we will have to use our current potentials, instead of waiting for some
other people to come in the future to do so. But she said that the road to achieving this
however, is NOT by waiting to hold some public office first, but instead, by putting up
some form of strong community or grass root leadership etc. This is according to a local
radio news on July 26, 2014

j) President Barak Obama inspires us with this regular quote of his that: “Change will not
come, if we wait for some other person, or some other time. We are the ones that we have
been waiting for. We are the ones that we seek.” Then finally for now:

k) Here’s how change can come about, and who can bring it, as in the reading of American
trillion-dollar private sector giant, Apple Inc., which argues: “Here [are] the crazy ones,
the misfits, the troublemakers, the round pegs in square holes, the ones who see things
differently. They are not fond of rules, and they have no respect for the status quo. You can

quote them, disagree with them, glorify them, or vilify them etc., but the only thing that
you cannot do, is to ignore them, because they can change things. They push the human
race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see them as geniuses
because: people who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are those
who can really do so, in the end…” etc. and etc.

III. Finally, ALL OF OUR ACTIONS, IDEAS, APPROACHES ETC. ARE


LEGALLY JUSTIFIED
To begin this section, we like to reiterate this point that we made about Liberia’s former rebel
leader, Charles Taylor, in some of our articles by arguing that: even if we will never respect
this man for anything else, one thing that we will remember and cherish him for, is his right
recognition of the superiority of the United Nations over all nations, something which he
confirmed when he remarked (in reference to his involvement with the Sierra Leonian
Revolutionary United Front rebels, to free UN hostages): “I have always told the RUF that
next to God is the United Nations. [So] it is terribly stupid to take UN personnel as hostage”
(www.thenewhumanitarian.org/Taylor, Stubborn since his childhood). True to this pretty
fair assessment of the UN, we believe in all of our Plain Truth Revolutionary struggle, that
human-wise, or world-activity-wise, the mother of all laws are UN-crafted or UN-
approved laws, conventions, and protocols, and we also strongly believe that this reality
stands out even much taller in territories of the world, such as Liberia, which are
unquestionably still facing, and suffering serious LEGITIMACY crisis (as authoritatively
pronounced on page 71, the last paragraph, of the country’s recent Truth & Reconciliation
Commission’s 384-page final report). In other words, international laws, even though
normally need to be ratified and domesticated before taking preeminence over domestic laws
as the UN’s way of trying to respect individual countries’ claims to sovereignty and
independence etc., these laws should however go ahead, and unconditionally take preeminence
over the domestic laws of territories or countries like Liberia, whose claims to sovereignty and
independence are still yet very murky, and even convincingly proven fake, as compared to
those countries whose sovereignty and independence have now been tried and tested to be
authentic, stable and sustainable, like those of such countries like Ghana, Rwanda, South
Africa, the UK, the US, China, and so forth.

To this argument, we say first off that in our Plain Truth Revolutionary struggle, we are highly
motivated and empowered by provisions within the Universal Bill of Rights, one key
constituency of which is the United Nations’ December 10, 1948 Universal Declaration of
Human Rights, a document which spells out all the rights and freedoms to which every
human being in this country – from Monrovia to Gborplay, and from Sinjey to Kaloken etc.,
like any other human being anywhere on the globe, is equally and inalienably entitled, but that
the Americo-Liberian criminal gang called government in this place will decide to brutally and
mischievously deny us of these rights, freedoms, and privileges, with explicit US Government
backing, as this colluding pair remains dead set in ensuring that they continue their free ride on
us forever, God forbid!! We remain very confident and reassured that the Universal
Declaration of Human Rights is never country-specific; it is never intended just for a

particular period of time, or only for a specific group of people etc., as these mischievous
Black Americans, through their ever-cruel GOL, have been fooling us to think, in this country,
since 1822, NO, NO and NO. We are quite conscious that provisions within this ever-powerful
global rights instrument are the inalienable entitlements of all peoples, at all times, and in all
places, including us, the ever-suppressed and marginalized Boakais, Nagbes, Weahs, and
Sudues etc. of this country. We also quite well know that these rights are for people of every
color, every race, and every ethnic group. They are for all citizens, all foreigners, and all
migrants alike, and they do apply to people regardless of their physical conditions, their sex,
their creed, their sexual orientation, and the list goes on.

In fact, for us, citizens of this country, acting under the banner of the Plain Truth Revolution,
after having gotten fully convinced that we are against time in honoring our obligation under
such strong provisions of this international human rights and legal instrument like its Article
28 (meaning Article 28 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights), which grants us the
entitlement, or in other words, imputes upon us the responsibility of creating for our country
and our society the proper social and international order that will ensure that all of our rights
and freedoms set forth by the great Universal Bill of Rights; including importantly, our rights
to a clear conscience, our rights to high quality and widespread education, our rights to
dignified peace and impartial justice, our rights to adequate standards of living in larger
freedoms etc. – rights, ABSOLUTELY none of which can ever be realized under Liberia
and its great LIES, including lie within the very name of the country, not to mention the LIE
surrounding its claimed 1847 independence and sovereignty etc. and etc., will ask God to help
us muster all of the courage to utilize the freedom of assembly that we have, to keep getting
out there, to dramatize physically, as in the words of Martin Luther King, Jr., these great
convictions of ours, in a peaceable and orderly fashion, to ensure that our dreams and
aspirations for country and people are ultimately realized by the unmatched grace and power
of our UNMOVABLE MOVER and UNSHAKABLE SHAKER.

We are even more and more hugely inspired by lines within the UDHR’s preamble which
recognize that in order for man not to be compelled to recourse to rebellion against tyranny
and oppression as a last resort, their rights, based upon these provisions, must be protected
through a genuine Rule of Law regime. Additional inspirations of ours in this Revolution are
drawn from President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s 1941 Four Freedoms Speech, a speech whose
arguments proudly formed the foundation pillars of the United Nations, including our
freedom of speech, our freedom of faith or conscience, our freedom from want, and our
freedom from fear.

Having laid the premise for all of our legal justifications in this battle, God willing, let’s now
close this long, all-important article up with some necessary legal specifics in more proofs of
these justification as follows:

1. Fundamentally, group life, or living together as a people, a country, or a democracy etc.,


calls for some strong degree of compulsion in developing ALL of our human beings under

a conducive atmosphere – for EACH of them, as much as possible, to be able to live up to


the fullest of their huge God-given potentials under heightened freedoms, including those
freedoms that were beautifully summarized in FDR’s 4 Freedoms Speech as we
mentioned immediately above. The United Nations, since its establishment in 1945 has
worked to weave these basic ideologies, or good intentions for mankind into all of its
policy documents and conventions. The UN Charter for example is emphatic about this. As
such, and relative to this great goal of making human being the most important asset: from
the 1948 UDHR, to the 1966/1976-each, International Covenant on Economic, Social
and Cultural Rights (ICESCR) and the International Covenant on Civil and Political
Rights (ICCPR) etc., and further to each of its most recent milestone policy documents
(i.e. their 2000 Millennium Development Goals, or MDGs, and their 2015 Sustainable
Development Goals, or SDGs) etc., the United Nations keeps stressing each legitimate
country’s very BINDING OBLIGATION to developing and refining ALL of their human
beings, something which can only be done firstly through the provision of high quality
education to ALL, not to a few, at very little cost to citizens, depending on the situation,
but generally intended, and instructed, to be at no cost to ALL citizens. The UN has been
channeling all these beautiful ‘people-centered’ policy requests and demands through
individual countries’ governments; again, as said earlier, in an effort to respect everyone’s
claims to sovereignty and independence. Specifically pertaining to this request (i.e. the
request, or we will say here, this demand for every country to educate their citizens), for
example: (a) Article 26, and Articles 13 & 14 respectively of the Universal Declaration
of Human Rights and the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural
Rights emphasize Education as that first right from which it is possible to recognize all
other rights, and thus place serious premiums on each country’s obligation to educate
ALL of their citizens well. Still in further addition, Counts 2 and 4 respectively of the
United Nations’ Millennium Development Goals (or MDGs) and Sustainable
Development Goals (or SDGs) do implicitly demand all states to educate each one of their
citizens with some compulsory conditions and deadlines set etc. To clear any doubt of
yours about these claims of ours for instance, parts of Article 13 of the ICESCR, which
recognizes this right, read thus: “…..Education is seen both as a human right, and as "an
indispensable means of realizing other human rights", and so, this is one of the longest and
most important articles of the Covenant…… [Some actions] that parties (meaning all UN-
member Nations, including so-called original member, Liberia) are required to pursue, [in]
realizing this right to education for every [soul]…. include: (a) the provision of free,
universal and compulsory primary education, (b) "generally available and accessible"
secondary education in various forms (including technical and vocational training), and
(c) equally accessible higher education. All of these must be available to all, without
discrimination. ….The article continues: “Parties are required to make education free at all
levels, either immediately or progressively; "[p]primary education shall be compulsory
and available, free to all"; secondary education "shall be made generally available and
accessible to all by every appropriate means, and in particular, by the progressive
introduction of free education"; and "[h]higher education shall be made equally accessible

to all, on the basis of capacity, by every appropriate means, and in particular, by the
progressive introduction of free education…..etc.". MDG’s Count #2 is explicit about this:
“Achieve universal primary education…” while the 4th Count of the SDGs says in sum,
ENSURE QUALITY EDUCATION FOR ALL etc. With our painstaking years of research
establishing authoritatively that the colonial design of government imposed upon us here
by the US Government in 1822 can NEVER ensure that any of the above goodies for all
human beings alike EVER happens within this society even in a billion years’ time – as
God is never mocked etc. – we feel legally justified to use such provisions as the First
Articles each of the ICESCR and the ICCPR, plus the 28th Article of the UDHR to civilly
overturn all of these Nasty situations around in the supreme interest of our country and
people, God willing.

2. Our research findings also powerfully establish that Liberia is NEVER a legitimate
statehood arrangement, much less a truly independent and sovereign country, and that it
has only been devilishly and criminally claiming these noble statuses to itself for 174 years
now with colonial master support. As such, our Movement is determined to honestly
radically reevaluate these proven fake claims, and expose their fakeness to our fellow
compatriots and the world over, as we are now doing, by God’s grace, all in an effort to
demand a new, fresh air of sovereignty and independence, and we are convicted that such
huge civic step is legally justified; firstly by Article 1 of the UN Charter which reads:
“……All peoples have right to self-determination. By virtue of that right, they freely
determine their political status, and freely pursue their economic, social, and cultural
development. This is similar to what the ICCPR and the ICESCR’s first articles each have
also said.

3. In line with the argument above of our right to self-determination, especially when
previous steps to this all-important group craving, or group necessity, as the ones taken by
some people before us, now convincingly prove deceitful, ill-intentioned and thus
inauthentic, for which the meaning of this noble group status is just not being truly realized
at all by us in almost 200 years now etc., the civic duty that we now have to act in
reversing this embarrassing collective situation, we believe, is legally justified. This right
to self-determination can also be enhanced or bolstered by some insightful clue enshrined
within the US Declaration of Independence about how true independence takes into
account the duty of ALTERING and RE-FORMING a proven colonial design of
government for a newer and more progressive and democratic design. Let’s please quickly
sidetrack a bit here to crucially point out how by virtue of a whole range of important
world leadership matrices, including its very diverse demographic makeup, its rooted
maturity in the practice of democracy; its tried and tested track record at sustainably
developing the human being; its relatively innovative approaches to fostering international
collaboration, as for example, demonstrated in the role that it played in the establishment of
the United Nations etc. and etc., the United States, which we normally refer to as
FIRST AMONG TODAY’S SUPERPOWERS, does qualify to be placed next to the
United Nations in terms of world authority and legitimacy, a genuine reason for which

one would not be mistaking to ascribe all the legitimacy to US Laws and its other legal
instruments, such as its Declaration of Independence. As such, the clue or logical
instruction within the US Declaration of Independence about ALTERING and RE-
FORMING existing governments or existing forms of government, as being part of the
necessary steps in the acquisition of true independence and sovereignty, is something that
our Revolution attaches very serious attention and legitimacy to. Relative to this vital legal
boost, even as deceitful and bloodily pretentious as the Liberian Constitution is, although
this part again, could be cleverly traced to provisions from within the ICCPR which might
have been inserted into this Liberian instrument for mere formality or pretense, Article 1 of
this country’s lying constitution still gives citizens the right and authority to talk all of the
radical things that we are now talking, including for example: our demand for completely
uprooting the entire foundation, including the redoing, reframing, and reorientation
of the institution of government. For instance, citizens can claim their authority here
from the words ALTER and REFORM or RE-FORM as enshrined in Article 1 of this
Liberian Constitution, with the Meriam Webster Dictionary 6th Edition, defining these
both words respectively, in consonance with our basic arguments as follows: (1)
REFORM/RE-FORM – (a) to form again; or to form all over; or to form once more; (b) to
put, or change into a new and improved form or condition etc. (2) ALTER – to cause to
become different in some particular characteristics (as in measure, dimension, course,
arrangement, or inclination) without changing into something else. Synonyms of Reform
include Renew and Correct, and so forth, while those for ALTER, it includes to Change,
among others.

4. In adherence to the well-researched views of the esteemed Greek philosopher Socrates and
other social scientists, that conflicts or deep-seated problems within society can better be
solved through properly guided intellectual exchange, or debates, rather than guns
(especially using guns as a justified beginning point in this case, NO!!!), our Revolution’s
determination, or adaptation of the policy of acquiring and imparting knowledge on issues
of all kinds, and in every sphere of national life, while using a wide range of legitimate
media to assertively disseminate such information and knowledge etc., is something among
others, that is in accordance with Articles 18 and 19 of the International Covenant on
Civil and Political Rights, with Article 18 stating here in brief that every human being
has the right to freedom of thought, conscience, and religion; while Article 19 for its
part says that everyone – whether Black or White – has the right to hold opinions without
interference. It goes on to say, that everyone has the right to freedom of expression, and
that this right should include freedom to seek, receive, and impart information and ideas of
all kinds, regardless of frontiers, either orally, in writing, or in print, in the form of art, or
through any other media of his choice.

Again, in this direction, and for those who still believe in Liberia, but do not want to work
with, or associate with our Revolution, or with the word Revolution, but are desperate and
honest to see some big change happen in this country however, we say, even as fake and
pretentious as the colonial Liberian constitution tries to portray itself evidently, Article 15

of this bogus instrument grants citizens the right to do similar thing as above, stating
basically that everyone has unhindered freedom of expression, with rights to hold opinion
without interference, plus academic right to receive and impact knowledge and information
through whatever lawful means without any interference etc.

5. Then regarding our choice of working, or operating as an Assembly, or the coming


together of like-minded citizens under a common umbrella mechanism to achieve a
common purpose, God willing (which in this case, is for the purpose of mainly undoing
and redoing the theory of Liberia); among other international law provisions, Article 21 of
the ICCPR gives us the right and authority to assembly peacefully towards such ends,
when it states in short, that all persons have the right to peaceful assembly. Like for the
other provisions as well, Liberia’s lying Constitution’s Article 17 duly gives every citizen
the right to assemble peacefully in this same vein by for example stating: that “all
persons, AT ALL TIMES, and in an orderly and peaceable manner, shall have the
right to assemble and consult upon the common good, to instruct their representatives, to
petition the government or other functionaries for the redress of grievances, and to
associate fully with others, or refuse to associate in political parties, trade unions, and other
organizations”, while additionally granting every citizen right to movement in Article 13.

And as obvious as the fact is: that every coin has got two sides, for which every right does
come with some responsibility and restriction etc., just as provisions like Article 20 of the
International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights do caution against the use of these
kinds of campaigns to beat war drum, or call for war etc., Liberia’s lying Constitution’s
14th Article tries to specify under which circumstances these wonderful rights of ours could
be interfered with by government etc.

6. Finally, for this section, the PTR’s Transitional Justice Package hits hard against our now-
proven colonial master, America, as the first culprit for all of the heinous crimes – both
brutal and intelligent ones – going on in this country. In line with our justified observation
of US Laws being universally legitimate for transactions, here are how several provisions
within their own laws are being relied upon by us, in making these grave claims against
them, including mainly those featured within the case “Krua et al v. Johnson Sirleaf”,
which currently sits on the docket at some District Court in Boston, Massachusetts. Some
of these great US Law provisions which justify our actions and thoughts include: (i) The
Alien Tort Claims Act (ATCA) – this is a 1789 statute, as part of the First Judiciary Act,
which provides that “the District Court shall have …. cognizance, concurrent with the
courts of the several states, or the Circuit Courts, as the case may be, of all cases [sic
causes] where an alien sues for tort only in violation of the laws of nations, or a treaty of
the United States.”; (ii) The Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act (or JASTA)
(Pub.L. 114-222) – a law passed by the 114th US Congress in September 2016 that
narrows the scope of the legal doctrine of foreign sovereign immunity; (iii) The 18 US
Code, section 373 – Solicitation to Commit a Crime of Violence, a US legal code passed
in 2010, but took effect on January 7, 2011, that in layman terms, prohibits the solicitation
of US-linked resources to commit violent crimes abroad; (iv) The Federal Anti-Torture

Statute, formally known as Title 18, Part I, Chapter 113 C, consisting of 3 sections, and
enacted in 1994, which defines the crime of torture, and prescribes harsh punishment for
anyone – meaning an American or otherwise – who commits an act of torture outside of the
United States. This statute further provides that a person found guilty of committing torture
faces up to 20 years in prison, if the torture in question resulted into a victim’s death. This
law was added to the books in 1994 as part of America’s efforts to ratify and comply with
the UN Convention against Torture and other cruel, inhumane, or degrading treatment or
punishment; (v) The Torture Victim Protection Act of 1991 (TVPA; Pub.L. 102-256),
enacted March 12, 1992, allows for the filing of civil suits in the United States against
individuals who, acting in an official capacity for any foreign nation, committed torture
and/or extra-judicial killing. This statute allows victims or their families to sue their
tormentors in US Courts, regardless of citizenship; and finally for now, (vi) Title 18, US
Code, Section 1621(1) – a code that prohibits, in very simple terms as well, lying to the US
Government (as done by almost all perpetrators of the biggest crimes against humanity in
Liberia, especially in recent years), for legal immigration status in the US, only to use such
status to do relatively unethical and illegal things like: organizing violent guerilla groups,
raising funds for such purpose, buying arms and ammunition, and carrying out atrocities
against unarmed civilians overseas/abroad, or to overthrow governments abroad etc. and
etc. Our call for justice, and the inauguration of final, true justice for country now, for that
matter, is also echoed by key US Government officials too, one of which is Rep. Daniel
Donovan of New York’s 11th Congressional District, who although was stressing the
implementation of the TRC recommendations, is quoted as saying that until justice can be
truly sought for the crimes that continue to keep Liberia in the sad abyss, the country will
relapse into blood.” etc. and etc.

With these 42 pages, we are confident that you will now agree with us that the
APPROACHES, ACTIONS, AND ARGUMENTS of our Plain Truth Revolution, as God
works through her, to bring final redemption to this country by His grace, are all well
JUSTIFIED spiritually, morally, and legally. Thanks.

As you may have been previously informed, this is just one of the 51 main articles that form part of
our ongoing 2020/2021 citizens’ enlightenment campaign, or our Revolution’s honest, but
painstaking effort and determination never to leave any stone unturned – relative to exposing ALL of
the big and bloody problems of this country (“Liberia”), as we prepare the mind of every citizen and
well-wisher for our demanded National Dialogue, or National Convention, or Sovereign Citizens’
Convention etc., whichever way one prefers to call it, so that if this dialogue will have to last for days,
weeks, or even months, there can absolutely be no dull moment at that event. Remember that such
activity or event promises to eat up considerable national resources, and as such, it will rightly be
expected to produce the much-needed final, lasting solutions to our country’s seemingly unsolvable
problems by the grace of God, a strong reason for which we MUST do all we can to provide every bit
