3.1. 1 Interpretive research

From my perspective, as I see my locality, I see many good things as well as bad things

since not everything in my locality is bad, there are also good things such as social leaders

who are those who propose activities for children and the elderly who are the ones But the

government has already forgotten my point of view and that of many people should not be

like that since children are the future of our country and the elderly are in full retirement,

therefore I think that the problem comes from the great leaders who have us forgotten and

this is the reality of my town, as I mentioned before, the lack of opportunities force young

people to steal in places with little lighting in my point of view the authorities do not give

much importance to these cases being so followed and in the same places.

3.2 Kind of investigation

3.2.1 What is quantitative research?

Quantitative research is a structured way of gathering and analyzing information that is

obtained through various sources. This process is carried out with the use of statistical and

mathematical tools with the ultimate purpose of quantifying the research problem. In

general, it is about asking people to give their opinion in a structured way so that you can

produce specific data and statistics that guide you and in this way, obtain reliable statistical

results.

Characteristics

 It seeks to interpret the information, it is based on the use of numbers and figures

 The key questions in this method are: How many? Who? How much? Or To what

extent?

 It is a descriptive research method

 Its objective is to analyze the behavior of the population

 Results can be used in general situations

 Study the behavior of your sample

3.3 Population

The population I want to reach with my research is the elderly, social leaders to whom I

will conduct a survey about the problem of insecurity in my area, since for me it is very

important to treat this issue with authorities and more

3.5 Data collection instrument

The instruments that I use for my research are platforms such as teams to carry out the

surveys to people, which are not within my reach and by this means they will give me a

separate answer. My main instrument will be my speech in front of the people surveyed.
