have a log for every time you go to take pictures.

I would like to try to have similar to this photo. I like the idea of
movement in the photograph and I would like to recreate this in
my own photos.

Must have shots – Train moving past, shots of industrial railways,

station platform.

Techniques to try – leading lines, slow/fast shutter speed, depth of

field.

Equipment needed – phone, camera, SD card, extra batteries.

SHOOT REVIEW LOG

YOUR NAME Ross Pilling

Date & time of visit – various from Feb - April

Location – Newton on Ayr stations and Kilwinning stations, and

Prestwick International station. Kilwinning and Newton on Ayr
seemed better than Prestwick, although it would depend on the
time of day and the weather of when I visited.

Weather conditions – Dry and sunny.

Equipment used – everything listed above.

Camera techniques used – slow/fast shutter speed, leading lines.

Things that worked – The movement of the train worked out well,
and the leading lines of some of the stations.

Any challenges? – Nothing challenging.

Ideas for future shoots – I may try to put the camera low and use
the platform shape as a leading line.

Notes -

Include a contact sheet of each shoot, narrowed down to around

10-20 images. Show your selection process with colour or star rating.

You are not doing final edits at this stage! The next step is to identify
your best shots to take to post-processing and the editing
techniques you wish to apply to these images.
