Wire Binding

Wire binding is the most common & modern format for

dissertation binding as well as being the fastest to produce.

Specifications

80gsm paper as standard, thicker paper on request.

Suitable for upto 250 sheets (500 double sided pages)
Mono or colour printing
Clear acetate front cover and black card backing
Hole punched with black metal wire loops threaded

Comb binding

Plastic comb binding is a more older, traditional style of

binding which gives the flexibility of adding additional pages
at a later stage.

used on request.
Suitable upto 450 sheets (900 double sided pages)
Mono or colour printing
Clear acetate front cover and black card backing
Hole punched with a plastic comb threaded through

Glue Tape binding

Glue tape binding is a strong bind that gives a clean and flat
squared spine, mimicking a paper back book or magazine.
This binding style is more economical than perfect binding,
yet achieves a similar look

Specifications

Suitable for upto 500 sheets (1000 double sided pages)

Finished sizes A3, A4, A5 or smaller
Inner pages: 80gsm/100gsm uncoated, (other paper on
request)
Cover page: 250gsm or 350gsm uncoated
Finishing: Clear acetate sheet on front with black card
on back as standard
Permanent hot glue is applied to the edge that is to be
bound, then a black or white tape is applied over the
glue.

Perfect binding with wrap-around cover

Perfect binding is like a commercial paperback book or

magazine. These books are highly configurable to your
specifications.

Hot glue bound with a wrap around cover paperback

book style
Suitable upto 300 sheets (600 double sided pages)
Finished sizes A4 to smaller than A6
Inner pages: 80gsm/100gsm uncoated, 150gsm coated
or speciality papers
Cover page: 250gsm or 350gsm uncoated
Optional Matt or gloss lamination on front cover for
added durability and effect

Hard Back binding

Hardback binding is made to last. Especially suited to PhD or

Masters final thesis.

Buckram style black hardback covers and spine (other colours

available on request) with optional gold lettering.

Finished size: A4 portrait or A3 landscape
