Flexi Multi Radio BTS LTE

• Flexi Multi radio BTS with LTE software is a 3GPP LTE eNB macro BTS site
solution.
• Flexi Multi radio BTS introduces a new way to build BTS sites using modules,
without a specific BTS cabinet.
• Due to its small weight and size, modular design and full frontal accessibility.
• Flexi architecture provides a smooth evolution from WCDMA/HSPA to LTE,
without compromising performance or capacity.
• A Flexi Multi radio BTS consists of one Remote Radio Head (Or RF Module) per
frequency band and one System Module with a transmission sub module.
• The same Multi radio modules are used in both WCDMA/HSPA and LTE indoor
and outdoor sites.
• All modules can be accessed from the front, are outdoor weather protected and
fresh air cooled.
• Flexi System Module with Transmission Module, 3-sector RF Module and
Remote Radio Head are IP65-classified outdoor modules.
• Flexi Multiradio BTS LTE can also be mentioned as Flexi eNB.

operating in a baseband extension mode (future software feature
candidate).
• Flexi Multi radio System Module hardware supports the following
software operating modes:
• WCDMA dedicated mode
• LTE dedicated mode
• It has multiband support, i.e. RF Modules for different frequency
bands can be connected to the same System Module.
