Workday Integration Specialist

Agilysis is seeking a Workday Integrations Developer to work on a client project. The . client is
building new integrations and enhancing existing ones to support changes in business. Job
Functions:
 Consult on the integration of systems into the Workday environment
 Design and develop integrations using EIBs, core / cloud connectors and Studio
 Enhance existing integrations to support changes in business
 Collaborate with Workday Functional Leads to confirm requirements and facilitate testing but own
the technical development and support activities in Workday Job Requirements: Skills/Abilities:
 Expertise in the full range of Workday proprietary tools (Report Writer, Calculated Fields, EIB, Core
and Cloud Connectors)
 Some knowledge of Workday Studio is required. Expertise in Workday Studio is a big plus
 Must have worked on Document Transformations, XSLT, Calculated Fields
 Knowledge of overall Workday functionality covering HIRE TO RETIRE business process is essential
 Thorough understanding of software development life cycles, development and technology tools,
testing methodologies, and requirements gathering
 Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem resolution skills. Strong verbal and written
communication skills
 Must be a team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to
influence others to move toward consensus. Experience:
 Requires 5+ years of experience in IT with a minimum of 1 year experience as a Workday
Integration developer
 Workday Certification is not required but a plus Education:

The ideal candidate for the Workday Integration Consultant position has always “bridged the

Integration Consultant, you will bring your technical skills, ability to keep the business

Responsibilities:
 Work directly with key business and IT stakeholders to confirm requirements, consider
design alternatives, facilitate discussions and ultimately drive requirements sign-off
 Evaluate, communicate and coordinate the technical impacts of application configuration
decisions
 Create detailed system interface specifications, field mapping, and system process designs
 Develop, test and deploy integrations required to meet business requirements
 Facilitate knowledge transfer and educate clients on developing and operating interfaces to
and from a SaaS platform
 Track issues and risks, communicate status and escalate concerns to project management

Essential Skills:
 Strong Experience with Workday Studio Development and Report Designer. A minimum
of one year experience in developing complex Workday studio integrations from scratch.

 Working Knowledge of Workday Integrations – Core Connectors, EIB, DT

 Integration support for at least 2 clients handled on AMS model for Workday HCM and or
Finance Modules

 Expert-level experience in developing and maintaining solutions using Workday as a


foundation

 3-8 years of programming/development experience required

 Experience in developing, testing, and deploying Workday integrations

 Experience with highly complex integrations preferably between HR, Payroll and Finance

 Experience with JavaScript, XSLT and xPath programming strongly preferred

 Exposure to XML, and XSLT tools

 EDI or Flat File Integration experience

 Knowledge and experience on Object Oriented concepts

 Working Knowledge of Secure FTP transfers

 Experience with Web Services (WSDL, SOAP, REST)

 CCB/CCTPP/PICOF/PECI experience is a definite plus

Desired Skills:
 Experience in handling Integration discovery sessions with the client

 Exposure to Mulesoft, Dell Boomi and other tools used as Integration middleware
Responsibilities:
 Work independently or with Team Lead and/or Project Manager to participate in
integration support

 Maintain continuously and support existing integrations by resolving defects (if any),
enhance and apply required updates, as necessary

 Work in a team of workday configuration and integration analysts to craft technical


specifications.

 Analyze business requirements and produce detail and solution specifications consulting
with Client Process Owners about standard methodologies for HR processes in Workday.

 Ensure the productive operations of Workday System Architecture including all interfaces
(integrations) as well as custom reports/dashboards.

 Track issues and risks, communicate status and escalate concerns

Ability to work with the team that can be geographically dispersed, in planning support and be
available to support or guide as and when necessary

Responsibilities:

 Lead phase 1 implementation projects with a large team of integration developers
