Q= WHAT COUNTRIES WERE PART OF OTTOMAN EMPIR?

The Ottoman Empire was born in Anatolia (in modern turkey) at the start of 13th
century. It expanded into three continents and thrived for some six centuries. At its
peak, the Empire stretched from Hungary in the north to Basra in the east to the
shores of the Indian Ocean in the south to Morocco in the west. With enormous
holdings of land on three continents, it’s impossible to generalize about ottoman terrain
or weather. They ruled over mountain’s, hill’s, plain’s, swamp’s and desert’s.
Temperature’s in Egypt in the summer can rise to as high as 110 degrees
Fahrenheit, and in Hungary they can fall to well below freezing during the
winter.

At its height, the Ottoman Empire included the following regions:

Turkey

Greece

Bulgaria

Egypt

Hungary

Macedonia

Romania

Jordan

Palestine

Lebanon

Syria

Some of Arabia

Much of the coastal strip of North Africa.
