It highlights how powerful being present in the here and now can be. By introducing January 19 mindfulness, an emotional-regulation technique, at a young age, children can begin to work on self- regulating. One great thing about this book is the inclusion of the guided meditation. It is a great opportunity for children to put mindfulness into practice. The greatest thing about this book is the underlying message that we are all wonders, despite our differences. It compares these thoughts to having a puppy in our head that can be February 17 quiet, curious, scared, or excited. One great thing about this book is that it discusses anxiety in a kid-friendly way. It also offers strategies to calm the puppy in our head.
