Lagundi
If you experience drowsiness, dizziness, hypotension or a headache as side-
effects when using Vitex Negundo L. (Lagundi Leaf) Capsule medicine then it may
not be safe to drive a vehicle or operate heavy machinery. One should not drive a
vehicle if using the medicine makes you drowsy, dizzy or lowers your blood-
pressure extensively.
Niyug-Niyogan
Overdose on Quisqualis indica fruit may cause hiccups, dizziness, vomiting,
diarrhea and other reactions.
Sambong
Sambong Warnings and Side Effects
Use of topical Sambong is not associated with significant side effects.
Sambong even when taken internally is generally considered safe.
Special Precautions & Warnings: Pregnancy and breast-feeding: Not enough is
known about the use of sambong during pregnancy and breast-feeding. Stay on
the safe side and avoid use.
Sambong can cause allergic reaction for people sensitive to ragweed plants and its
relatives. Side effects may include itching and skin irritation.
Tsaang gubat
Pregnancy and Breast feeding. There are no sufficient scientific studies done to
investigate adverse reaction nor side effects of Tsaang gubat during pregnancy
and breast feeding. Stay on the safe side, avoid using Tsaang gubat herbal
medicine for internal use.
Allergies. In rare cases, Tsaang gubat has caused allergic reactions when applied
to the skin. .
Ulasimang bato
There are no known side effects and interactions involving this medicinal plant,
except for the possibility of allergy.
Yerba Buena
Yerba mate is POSSIBLY UNSAFE when taken in large amounts or for long periods of
time. Consuming large amounts of yerba mate (more than 12 cups daily) might cause
headache, anxiety, agitation, ringing in the ears, and irregular heartbeats. Drinking
large amounts of yerba mate (1-2 liters daily) also increases the risk of esophageal
cancer, kidney cancer, stomach cancer, bladder cancer, cervical cancer, prostate
cancer, lung cancer, and possibly laryngeal or mouth cancer. This risk is especially
high for people who smoke or drink alcohol.

Signs of an allergic reaction, like rash; hives; itching; red, swollen, blistered,
or peeling skin with or without fever; wheezing; tightness in the chest or throat;
trouble breathing, swallowing, or talking; unusual hoarseness; or swelling of the
mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat.
