I am writing to ask you for a favor. I know we have a test on Monday on next week to review
the technical drawing on the module of turbo machine. My father has a surgery at 10am on
that day and so I cannot attend.

I am terribly sorry about being absent. But unfortunately, I am the only assistant my father
has because I am his elder son. And the appointment for the surgery was made several
weeks in advance and it is impossible to reschedule. I know that you can understand, what a
crucial situation this is for me.

Is it possible for me to take the exam at another time? I would be happy to take the test
with any other class at any time at your convenience.
I apologize once again and hope I am not causing you too much inconvenience.
