For my own personal nursing philosophy, I’d like to

mirror it to albert banduras self efficacy model. Self-

efficacy, is one of the most enabling psychology
models to have been adopted into positive
psychology. It is the optimistic self-belief in our
competence or chances of successfully
accomplishing a task and producing a favorable
outcome. It is being able to accomplish things
through a positive mindset and belief. I’d like to
take myself as an example. In my case, this is
actually my first time in transferring schools since
first grade; there are times where I would feel really
inferior among my peers since I’m not usually found
within these group of people. Back in my old school
I was confident in my studies and I would be
amongst the people who would top the class. Now
since ive been drawn out of my comfort zone, i.e.
transferring schools, I would usually find myself
unmotivated to study because of a negative outlook
that I will never be able to go back to the way I used
to before. I opened up to my mom about this last
satudray and all she said that “its all in the mind”.
Coming from her, these words really stuck in my
head since then. If you are confident in yourself and
determined that you are able to surpass such
events, you can overcome almost anything. Having
a positive outlook and a change in mindset will treat
almost any kind of disease.
