Chapter 29

1. Bowen, Tommy, and Fiona start climbing down a ladder to the tunnels. Arrin is their, and
talks to them. She says she knows a way inside the wall, and that Fiona came from the
lab.

5. Fi develops by learning about herself, and where she came from.
6. Tommy shows self preservation by using matches instead of a flashlight.

Chapter 30
1. Arrin, Bowen, Tommy, and Fiona keep walking in the sewers. Bowen says he needs to
rest, but Arrin says no. When they get to the end, it turns out that it was a trap set by
Arrin to lure Fiona to the pits. The pit person says that Arrin has to fight to, and they take
the two away.

5. Fi develops by learning how Arrin was a double crosser.

Chapter 31
1. Fiona gets taken to a room where there are lots of beasts and fecs. Arrin is there, and so
is her brother, now a beast. She gets a flashback where she and her brother is being put
into a coma, but her brother, not beast but turning, breaks free .

6. Past fiona shows self preservation by trying not to get sedated

Chapter 32
1. When Fiona wakes up, a beast is trying to strangle her. The guards stun it, but not
before it shakes her. One of the guards washes her, and she gets into a elevator.

4. Lance, washer of fecs, doesn't care about her
5. Fi develops by learning that she is going to fight
6. Fiona shows self-preservation by not dying by the beast

Chapter 33
1. Fiona watches through the elevator doors, two beasts fighting each other. When the
match is done, and the surviving beast has been carted away, she gets pushed out of
her cell. The commentator talks about her to the crowds, and then released her beast
brother, Arris, and a female beast.

4. Governor, told the raiders to not let her inside the wall. Looks pretty evil. Wants Fiona to
die.
5. Fi develops by learning that the governor has been behind the hunt all this time.
6. Fiona shows self preservation by remembering how to defend herself.
7. Irony, flashback

Chapter 34
1. Fiona gets buried under all three of them. Her brother throws Arris off, and Fiona takest
as the chance to get off the beasts. After Arris dies by his brother, but she gets slammed
to the wall by the other female beast, bowen appears above the glass, and tells her to
survive. He throws a grenade, and it starts raining diamonds.

5. Fi develops by learning that her brother, even in beast form, has still a bit of protection
over her.

Chapter 35
1. Bowen stands over Fiona, and they talk a little bit. Bowen tries to shoot her brother, but
she says no, saying that he protected her. Bowen says how he got to her, and then a
person appears, triggering a flashback.

5. Fi develops by learning how Bowen found her.

Chapter 36
1. Fiona gets a flashback where a doctor takes her from a hospital bed to a pile of laundry,
where he told her to hide. Bowens brother and the governor try to kill all of them, but his
brother shoots the governor. Militia men come out of nowhere, and cuff his brother and
the governor.

4. Duncan, works for governor, brother of Bowen, older than his brother, worked for militia.
The doctor, wanted to help Fi, promoted Bowen
5. Fi develops by remembering more about herself
6. The doctor shows self preservation by saving Fiona

Chapter 37
1. Fiona wakes up in a hospital bed, with most of her body hurting. A doctor comes over,
and Fiona recognizes her as her sister, Liz. She tells her that bowen is okay, and he
comes in, to kiss her, and to tell her to turn on the TV in 15 minutes.

4. Liz, sister of Fiona, lives in wall, married, a doctor
5. Fi develops by learning the whole story of the cure
6. The doctors shows self preservation by keeping Fiona alive

Chapter 38
1. 15 minutes later, a doctor brings a Tv in. It’s showing Bowen on a helicopter, telling the
people outside the wall there's a cure. She watches people come out from sewers and
houses to dance, because they have a chance to survive.

5. Fi develops by learning that the people outside the wall have new hope
6. Bowen shows self preservation to the people outside the wall because he told them that
their is a cure
