Billie Eilish’s style and diet

Billie Eilish is an American singer and songwriter. She was born in
California; she began singing at a young age. But Billie isn’t your common
pop star. Everything about her is unique, from her voice and lyrics to her
smart choice of diet and her different taste in fashion.
5 When asked about her daily style of clothes, Billie says: “I dress like
I’m on stage all the time. I mix cheap items of clothes with designer
clothes. I always dress really insane with a lot of different bright colours.
I always try to be creative with what I’m wearing. I’ll wear trousers on
my arms, or I’ll wear a different shoe on each foot. And I’ll wear lots of
10 necklaces and rings, too.” Her style is full of baggy clothes and track
suits, and people love it. But she’s not just doing it to look cool. Billie said that the reason she wears
large clothes is because she doesn’t want people to comment on what her body looks like. She wants
to be judged on the sound of her voice. “That’s why I wear large clothes,” she said. “Nobody can be
like, ‘she’s slim’, ‘she’s not slim’, ‘she’s fat’. No one can say any of that because they just don’t know.
15 Some people say that I do it because I want to be recognised.”
When she was thirteen, Billie changed to a vegan diet because she wanted to reduce her impact
on the environment and be kinder to animals. She said that, when she is too stressed from being on
the road, she likes to have her favourite dessert: peanut-butter chocolate chip cookies.
