DESCRIPTION OUTLINE DIMENSIONS in inches (mm)

The HOA1405 series consists of an infrared emitting Tolerance 3 plc decimals ±0.010(0.25)
diode and an NPN silicon phototransistor encased side- 2 plc decimals ±0.020(0.51)
by-side on converging optical axes in a black
thermoplastic housing. The phototransistor responds to
.340(8.64) .210(5.33)
radiation from the IRED only when a reflective object .405(10.29)
.330(8.39) .395(10.04) .190(4.83)
passes within its field of view. The HOA1405 series
employs an IR transmissive filter to minimize the effects .200(5.08) MIN .062(1.60) R 2 PLCS

of visible ambient light and to provide a smooth optical .260(6.60)
