PROF ED 11 Final Term Major Task via Showbie – Making Own Class Record

After you have submitted the Grading Components Table, you may start making your class record. Please take note of the following:

1) Identify which quarter are you calculating (based on the competencies chosen in the summative test). Leave blanks for the other grading
periods and imagine the space intended for the grading period.
2) Use random names for students. Make sure there are at least 30 students. Identify the males and females and write them in the Names
section of the class record alphabetically. It is up to you if you will have spaces in between.
3) Next, organize your class record to include the three components (WW, PT, and QA). Have enough space intended for at least seven (7)
WW, four (4) PT, and one (1) QA (based on the table you submitted to Sir Io). Also, have columns for TRS, PS, and WS. At the
rightmost side (teacher’s orientation side) of the class record, have columns for the Initial Grade (IG), Quarterly Grade (QG), and
Descriptors.
4) Put labels (on top or on the bottom) of the Raw Scores (e.g. Short Quiz on _____). Include labels for TRS, PS, WS, IG, and QG.
5) Place on the very first row the highest possible score for that task.
6) Do not forget about the weights for each component in the subject you are grading. Check DepEd Order No. 8 S. 2015 again.
7) Then for the sake of calculations and grading in the task, fill out the columns with the scores of your students. As part of the challenge,
take note of the following:
a. The TRS for both WW and PT must not total to exactly 100 points so as to practice computing for PS. It could be more or less
than a 100.
b. Have at least seven (7) students who got Outstanding grades and two (2) students who got Did Not Meet Expectations grades.
c. Use black ballpen for the final scores. However, the DNME/failed grades should be written in red ballpen.
8) Calculate the TRS, PS, WS, and IG accurately. Check DepEd Order No. 8 S. 2015 if you forgot about how to go about it. Then, check
Appendix B re: Transmutation Table for the Quarterly Grade.
9) Make sure there are no erasures as this would possibly mean negative on the part of the teacher (i.e. lack of objectivity,
unsolicited changes, etc.). Be careful, accurate, precise, and strive for excellence.
10) Place on the last column to the right the Descriptor of the Grade.
11) When you are done, cover your class record creatively with the school name you created during the summative test. Label yourself as
the teacher. Place the subject/s you are teaching and school year 2022-2023. Then place my name as principal. (Just like a true
teacher!). Cover with plastic too, please.
12) Place a miniature copy of the Transmutation Table at the inside back cover of the class record.
13) Submit screenshots of the class record via Showbie. Take pictures of the cover, inside back cover, and the first four spreads of the class
record.
