Japan is really known to copy china.

They adapted many things from china, one of those

adaptations were ancient Buddhism. Japan claimed Buddhism as their chosen religion. The
buddha goes back to the eight centuries in japan. This was the time where the Chinese
influence was a strong impact, and the government was even stronger. The Chinese
government was created by two philosophical schools: legalism and Confucianism. Japan also
copied this. Legalism is a Chinese philosophy emphasizing centralized power, strict laws, and
harsh penalties. Confucianism emphasizes moral uprightness, respect for elders, and traditions.

When I came to literary arts, japans women take the lead on this topic. Aristocratic Japanese
women were taught read and write in Japanese. One of the first women to write a book was
called Kagero Nicki. Some of these women’s novels were mainly romance and royalty stories.
Some forms of poetry called waka developed in Japan. Tanka is a type of poetry that, has
different format, with a set number of syllables making up each of its five to seven lines. Tanka
was the main poetic form during this period.
