Dear <Addressee>:

Thank you for talking with me today concerning my interest in making a career move. In
that regard, I appreciated hearing your thoughts about Philip Marks Credit.

The Controller position that you mentioned sounds like it could be an opportunity to make a
substantial contribution. I would be interested in pursuing further discussions if you think it
is appropriate.

As you requested, here is a copy of my résumé. I believe it gives a good indication of my

skills, experience and record of accomplishment.

Thanks again for your time and advice. I will call you sometime next week.

Sincerely,

Thank You Letter After Interview

Dear <Addressee>:

Thank you for meeting with me last Wednesday to discuss the position of Senior Engineer in
A & R's Commercial Manufacturing Division. It was interesting to hear about the new
contracts you have recently received and the company's long-term goals under its new
management.

To more thoroughly answer your question concerning my experience with polymers and
plastics, I would point to my accomplishments at Hamilton Oceanographic.

As we agreed, I will call you next week to set up a meeting with Bob Clarke, Materials
Manager. Once again, thank you for your interest in my qualifications.

Sincerely,
Thank You Letter after Meeting Hiring Manager

confident I can contribute to your objectives.

As I reflected on our discussion, I further considered how my background and

accomplishments match your current business and technology needs. Some of the areas
where I believe I would have the greatest impact are:

Radar R&D Programs. While at Turner and Evans, I appointed a Task Force to study current
developments in this area and its implications for the aerospace industry. As a result of this
research, two of my lead engineers and I delivered a paper at a recent meeting of the
Chemical Engineering Society in Chicago.

International Licensing. My graduate degrees in engineering and law have proved helpful in
negotiating with foreign licensees. While working for Lenning Corporation, I was able to
establish new markets and secure contracts in both London and Brussels, resulting in $4 MM
revenue for the company.

To further answer your question regarding my ideas on equipment acquisition, I draw on my

experience at Turner and Evans.

By the way, have you seen Daniel Rob's latest article in Scientific Scientist, in which he....
