Architecture and Building Requirement

The total plot size accommodating all three phases of the project shall not exceed 4000 Sqm.

The Modular Data Centre Complex shall be housed in structures constructed from standard prefabricated
modules, pre-fitted with all the relevant fit-outs, not limited to Racking Cabinets, Electrical, Mechanical
and structural fit-outs

The dimensions of the prefabricated modules should comply the ISO standard and the recommendation
of the dimension is 4150mm×2438mm×12192mm (H*W*D). For the convenience of transportation and
installation, the width and length of the prefabricated modules should be 2438mm×12192mm.

The Pre-fabricated modules should support minimum 3-layer stack deployment and the bidder should
provide at least one delivered project reference to demonstrate capability and experience. The Civil
foundation shall be designed to accordingly for 3-layer stacking.

The physical structure and architecture space management shall conform to UPTIME Institute
recommendations and requirements. All elements across the entire MDCC site that make up the final
MDCC solution shall conform to UPTIME Institute Tier III classification.

All structures that make up the Modular Data Centre Complex will be pre-assembled and pre-tested in
factory.

All MDCC buildings and facilities should be protected from dust and water ingress to IP55 rating.

The prefabricated modules are to be suitable insulated and design to be deployed in the harshest of
environments as found in KSA as per ASHRAE guidelines.

The thermo insulation layer of the POD modules should be ≥100 mm thickness while the thermo
efficiency should ≤0.4W/ (m2*K).

Aluminium cladding with ITC branding to be considered for the MDCC.

Anti-seismic test and fire resistance test should be implemented. The container should meet the standard
of GR-63-CORE Zone 3 anti-seismic performance. Also should meet the requirement of BS EN 1363-1
and BS EN 1364-1 fire proof requirement. The vendor should provide the anti-seismic and fire-proof third
party test report.
