Throughout the production of this media project, as a group we constantly kept in mind
how our target audience would react to our finished articles. When we began this project
we set out to make our video and ancillary tasks look as authentic as possible. Our aim was
for an audience screening our work to look at each component and believe that all
necessary requirements have been met: from the correct music genre, all the way to the
chosen locations. We tried to record a lot of feedback as then we could determine whether
problems were a matter of someone's personal opinion or whether or not they were
problems that needed to be rectified.

The main extent of our feedback at the opening stages came from our fellow media
classmates as well as our teacher. These reactions were supplied at the draft and rough cut
stage of the project. These viewpoints were vital when it came to making alterations to our
tasks. Below is an image of the initial feedback we received for our music video͛s rough cut:

Although there was a lot of positive feedback at this stage (see rough cut feedback for more
detail), such opinions as ½
and some ½    were
also expressed. Although this was common knowledge to our group at the time (it being a
rough cut), it was still essential that others agreed with the need for changes.
Gn order to rectify these major issues, The lip syncing was precisely corrected o n Final Cut in
order to make the singing look as realistic as possible. The sequences were broken up via
cuts and cross dissolves in order to rid the repetitive nature. Other location shots were all
threaded into the video as well which stopped the same lo cation shots being over used.

Gn order to achieve an even wider range of feedback as possible we used the popular social
networking site Facebook. By posting our work on Facebook we received useful information
about our products from friends giving our group a vast spectrum of reactions. Via the
compilation of messages we received from friends, expressing their opinions on the music
video, Digipak and magazine advertisement, we were able to make any last changes to each
of the tasks before finally getting to the stage were we believed it was finished.

By receiving constant advice and opinions throughout enabled us to improve each aspect of
this project in order to meet the demands of the majority (especially the target audience);
and finally end up with our three completed objectives. Without a wide range of feedback;
looking at drafts and rough cuts all the way to the finals helped immensely and end up with
a project our group can be proud of.

Below is some footage of some more in depth feedback from a selection of students,
expressing their viewpoints towards our finished work.
