Arabic Holiday Work

YEAR 10:

o In preparation for the new unit ‘Jobs’, you are required to use the attached image to create solid
cardboard cards of 9 different jobs in ARABIC. Each card must be the size of A5 or bigger, however, not
smaller.
o Create or purchase a suitable container to insert your cards neatly inside for easy access of cards and use.
o You must use your dictionary to find out the Arabic meaning of the descriptions listed for each of the nine
jobs.
o Present it with clear Arabic headings, sub-headings as shown in the cards. Be creative with your work.
o Include appropriate visuals/photos/images to represent each job. Write your name at the back of each card.
o No English words should be written or visible in your cards.
o Turn in a photo of your final project by Sunday April 18th @ 8pm. The physical project is due first Arabic
lesson back in Term 2.
NOTE: Your project will NOT BE ACCEPTED on normal paper; it must be on cardboard and preferably laminated
for regular use in class. Failure to do so will result in asking you to complete it again.
