    Vegetables
    Potatoes with carrots
    Or turnip soup.
    Green salad and beans
    And onions too.
    How about tomato
    In its shiny red suit? turnip – ряпа
    Is it a vegetable? shiny – блестящ, лъскав
    Or is it a fruit? suit – костюм

    Turnip Rhyme
    It’s the lovely turnip. It’s actually a root.
    It loves sunshine.
    It grows underground in places cool.
    It’s shaped like a ball or a cone,
    Black or white or red,
    A bunch of leaves that you can’t eat
    Grows on its head.
