In the USA there have always been attractive tourist places, people from
every corner of the world wanting to visit them. One of the most
beautiful monuments in American history is Mount Rushmore.
Rising above the Black Hills of South Dakota, Mount Rushmore National
Memorial is a stunning sight to behold. Audacious in scale and
magnificent in artistry, the massive sculpture is a memorial to four
American presidents and so much more. Scroll down to learn more about

mountain carving is credited to South Dakota State Historian Doane
Robinson, who was looking for ways to attract tourists to the state.
Recruiting renowned sculptor Gutzon Borglum to the project, Doane and
other prominent South Dakota leaders secured Congressional support in
1925 and began to raise funds, including $250,000 from the federal
government. Carving began on October 4, 1927, removing tons of granite
and slowly shaping the mountain. Originally meant to portray the
presidents to the waist, only the heads were finished. Borglum’s death in
1941, along with the impending American involvement in World War II,
led to the end of the work on the mountain. On October 31, 1941, Mount
Rushmore National Memorial was declared a completed project.
Robinson’s original idea for the memorial was to portray heroes of the
American West, including Meriwether Lewis, William Clark, Buffalo Bill
Cody and Red Cloud. However, Borglum wanted to appeal to a national
audience and suggested featuring four presidents. Representing
important events and themes in our history, Presidents George
Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt
were selected. Each face is approximately 60 feet in height and with
noses longer than 20 feet. Their mouths are also about 18 feet wide.
 Natural monuments of the English-speaking world
There are many natural monuments in England and the USA, each with its
own beauty. But in my opinion the best known and most beautiful are the
Grand Canyon, Stonehenge and Yellowstone National Park. 
Nearly two billion years of Earth's geological history have been exposed
as the Colorado River and its tributaries cut their channels through layer
after layer of rock while the ei was uplifted While some aspects about the
history of incision of the canyon are debated by geologists,several recent
studies support the hypothesis that the Colorado River established its
course through the area about 5 to 6 million years ago. Since that time,
the Colorado River has driven the down-cutting of the tributaries and
retreat of the cliffs, simultaneously deepening and widening the canyon.
Stonehenge is a prehistoric monument on Salisbury plane in Wiltshire,
England, two miles west of Amesbury. It consists of an outer ring of
vertical Sarsen sending stones, each around 4 m high, seven feet 2 m
wide, and weighing around 25 tons, topped by connecting horizontal
lintel stones. Inside is a ring of smaller bluestones. Inside these are free-
standing trilithons, two bulkier vertical Sarsens joined by one lintel. The
whole monument, now ruinous, is oriented towards the sunrise on the
summer solstice. The stones are set within earthworks in the middle of
the most dense complex of Neolithix and Bronze AGE monuments in
England, including several hundred tumuli.
Yellowstone National Park is an American national park located in the
western United States, largely in the northwest corner of Wyoming and
extending into Montana and Idaho. It was established by the
U.S. Congress and signed into law by President Ulysses S. Grant on March
1, 1872.Yellowstone was the first national park in the U.S. and is also
widely held to be the first national park in the world.The park is known
for its wildlife and its many geothermal features, especially Old Faithful
geyser, one of its most popular.
While it represents many types of biomes, the subalpine forest is the
most abundant. It is part of the South Central Rockies forests ecoregion.
Forme these places are very attractive and having the opportunity to
travel to England and the USA, first and foremost to visit the given places.
 American/British famous people

Famous people today are everywhere. And it's not so hard to become
famous as to stay that way. In my opinion, the life of a star is not as
easy as it seems at first sight, it doesn't just consist of money  and
fame, but there are also many responsibilities. For me the three most
beloved famous people are: Ilon Musk, Michael B. Jordan and Camila
Mendes. I chose to talk about these people because they really
impress me and always demonstrate professionalism. 
Ilon Musk is the person who today wants to change the world, he
always comes up with new proposals and ideas, this led to the idea of
sending people to Mars, which will happen in the coming years.
Michael B. Jordan is my favorite actor, even though he is a very
young actor, he is only 34 years old, he already has a notorious name
in the film industry, he plays the role in such films as Kreed, Black
Panther, Just Mercy and others.
Camila Mendes is a 26-year-old actress who I liked because of a
single Riverdale movie, but who for her was the ladder to success, her
physical appearance was the reason I chose her in the first place.
