Simple Present Tense use to expressing habits, general truths, repeated actions.

Rumus:

Kalimat Verbal : Menggunakan Kata Kerja

Subject : I, You, We, They S + Verb 1 + C I go to school

Subject : I, You, We, They S + Do + Not + Verb 1 + C I don’t go to School

Subject: She, He, It S + Does + Not + Verb 1 + C she doesn’t go to School
Subject : I, You, We, They Do + S + Verb + C +? Do you go to school?

Subject: She, He, It Does + S + Verb + C + ? Does she go to school?

Bentuk spelling kata kerja orang ketiga:

1. Unuk kata kerja yang berakhiran –O, -CH, -SH, -X, atau –Z tambahkan –ES
Ex: go = Goes, Catch = Cacthes, Wash = washes, box = boxes
2. Untuk kata kerja yang berakhiran konsonan + Y, hilangkan Y dan tambahkan –IES
Ex: carry = carries, study =studies, worry=worries
3. Untuk kata kerja yang berakhiran vokal + Y, cukup tambahkan S
Ex: play = plays, say=says, enjoy=enjoys
Kalimat Nominal : Bukan menggunakan kata kerja
