EXT. A LAKE AND ITS SURROUNDING ENVIRONMENT-DAY
A large group of students arrive at a lake.
TEACHER:
Allright kids, let's form a single
file line right now, come one, this
isn’t something new.
The students start to gather in a straight line behind the
teacher.
TEACHER: (CONT'D)
Now that we are prepared to enter,
I would like to welcome you all to
this lake, where we would spend the
rest of the school time today.
The students follow the teacher and enter the lake.
TEACHER: (CONT'D)
All right kids, now…
The main character of this story, Carl, an admirer of nature,
and a geologist expert, decides to leave without suspicion
through the bushes in order to take some pictures around the
lake.
HUMPHREY:
I’ve got him!
Humphrey, the main antagonist of this story, knows that Carl
loves nature and decides to follow him.
Humphrey follows Carl as he takes his first four pictures of
the landscapes around the lake.
CARL:
There, now the last one.
Carl takes out his camera to take his fifth picture at the
edge of a cliff. Humphrey stays still for a few moments.
HUMPHREY:
This will do fine.
Humphrey picks up a rock to throw on Carl.
HUMPHREY:
Hey Carl! Whoa!
2.

Humphrey was trying to bring the attention of Carl, but when

he does he slips through a long hill without realizing that
there was an entrance to the cliff, the rock he carries also
injures him, and he becomes unconscious.
CARL:
Humphrey what are you. Oh no, I
have to stop him from falling off
this cliff.
He grabs his hiking sticks and holds on to Humphrey’s coat
collar and stops him from falling.
HUMPHREY:
Oh no! Get me out of here!
Regains his consciousness and looks down the cliff at the sea
and rocks, his view is blurry as he opens his eyes.
CARL:
You are safe now Humphrey
He lifts Humphrey from the edge of the cliff.
HUMPHREY:
Thank you for saving me, I was
about to throw a rock on you, I’ll
never hurt you again.
CARL:
That’s fine, but safety first is
the rule.

He takes out his phone and calls the teacher.

CARL: (CONT'D)
We need a first aid kit and a
medical team immediately.
The scene ends with a view of the cliff.
