Hi there!

Engaging with the public in a positive way and creating drinks I often take part in, is
EXACTLY the kind of job I want to be applying for! I am a performer who is looking for a
consistent, stable job in which I would fit well and I think Starbucks is exactly that!
I am a strong public speaker and improviser. I enjoy making people’s days and
finding ways to create genuine connections with every guest I engage with. At Knott’s, we
had a show called Ghost Town Alive, where it was my daily job as the school teacher to
affirm and lift up each and every guest I spoke to. I carry this with me in my day to day life. I
find it inspiring that you can give someone a great experience by saying a few kind words in
a short conversation.
I would be a good fit at Starbucks because I am a people person with lots of creativity
and teamwork skills. All my jobs leading up till now, I have been asked to work on teams to
create a specific kind of experience for the guest; whether that be a video interview or a
improvised scene as an actor. At Knott’s, particularly while working with the Peanuts
characters, I had to uphold a brand in all I did and said, while also engaging with guests and
answering important questions. I know I would be able to use all of these skills on a day to
day basis at Starbucks!
