The demands of the Muslims for the Khilafah and the Holy Land is entirely based on Shariah

rules. Therefore, to eradicate all doubts that may arise about it, the foremost task is to publish a
comprehensive article on this topic, in which all the rules of Shari'ah are fully explained and
researched.
Some aspects of the issue are very sensitive, a slight distortion of vision and a slight lack of
insight can lead to various misunderstandings. Therefore, this magazine is published for the same
purposes. The Bengal Khilafah Conference was held on 28th and 29th February 1920 in
Calcutta. From the speeches of this conference, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad had written this
magazine as a presidential sermon up to page 91. Later he extended the rest of the discussion to
include a full article on this topic. In the conference, Maulana had given an oral speech as per his
nature, and in this relation, the rules and arguments were also summarized, so it was part of the
preamble and the conclusion which was compiled from his oral speech. However, there were
some sections which were related with the political and national aspect assimilated from the text.
The assimilated issues were Hindus Muslims unity and everlasting universal peace in the world.
So that this magazine is only for the discussion and research of Shariah rules, and the other
discussions should be published in the form of separate magazines.
The first work of publishing this magazine was completed, on which a comprehensive magazine
has been prepared which contains all the necessary material on the issue mostly it addresses
religious clerics. Now the writers and workers of Majlis Khilafat who want to publish articles for
the publication they can compile the magazines in different paragraphs and formats keeping this
magazine in view. Such magazines need to be published soon.
Now, after that, there is no need of arguments and debates the fore task is preaching of single
rules of Shariah. For the awareness of people this magazine must be published in easy text.
These texts only explain the guidelines for duties and commandment, not arguments. There are
other important aspects of the problem that need to be written at the same passion. The issue and
many important aspects remain. It is necessary that these be written at the same passion too.
