Early osteoarthritic changes are seen involving the tibio femoral and patello-femoral articulations on both
sides evidenced by:
Mild narrowing of the medial tibio-femoral joint spaces.
Prominent tibial spines.
Sub chondral sclerotic changes of the medial aspect of the tibial plateau.
Peri articular and patellar polar osteophytosis.
No intra-articular radio-opaque loose bodies.
No definite fracture lines could be detected.
No bony erosion, sclerotic or osteolytic lesions with normal osseous texture of the radiographed bones.
No peri-articular soft tissue swellings.
