Addicted 2: Chapter 1 – Subversive Life!

Eight years, in a flash.

Eight years ago, those who can tell GuHai everything and were his friends had become strangers.

GuHai looked toward the computer desktop, at a picture of a face that had been deeply ingrained

“Lost contact? How did you lose contact?”

YanYaJing realized that GuHai did not want to continue with this talk, so she cleverly changed
the topic.

“Did you take this picture at QingDao?”

GuHai nodded, “Yes, it was taken that year when I ran into you at QingDao.”

YanYaJing carefully looked twice and could not hold her laughter.

“This photo looks really stupid. It reminded me of the Buddha lights!”

eyes, raising the sand dust like a knife cutting across the wings. A rocket flapped its flames
towards the target, rumbling burst of loud noise, the target destroyed, turned over ten meters of
sand pillar.

After successfully completing the first phase of the mission, the Major came out from the
cockpit, took off his mask, revealing a handsome and unruly face.

“Major, drink water.”

The Major took the water bottle, drink a few big mouthful, then throw the water bottle,

“Thanks.”

weeds and barbs. He tried to shake it off but it didn’t work, so he could only slowly pick it out

LiuChong opened the curtains to BaiLuoYin’s tent. Seeing that he was sitting in there with his
bare shoulders, his heart tightened with a deep sense of concern, “Major, are you hurt?”

BaiLuoYin raised his eyebrows and saw a bashful face.

“Do I look like I am hurt?”

“No you don’t.” LiuChong said embarrassingly, “I saw that you took your sweater off so I
thought you were dressing your wound.”

“You first put down the curtain, either come in or go out! The cold wind blowing is really a bit
too much.”

LiuChong had no choice but to enter BaiLuoYin’s tent, his armpit sandwiched a roll of thin
blanket.

‘enemy’ aircrafts circling over the territory.

After finishing his sentence, YangMeng hugged BaiLuoYin tightly and hit BaiLuoYin’s back
several times.

“Brother, you’re finally come back. If you delay coming back by two years, you’ll only see my
ashes by then.”

The two stared at each other’s eyes. Anyone could tell from their eyes that their real emotions

looking out of the window. YangMeng couldn’t see his expression clearly.

“Yeah?”

“Why don’t you want to let GuHai know that you’ve joined the military?”

BaiLuoYin turned his gaze back. His angular side face showed some traces of repressed
emotions. Although he had tried very hard to conceal it, YangMeng could still feel the huge

conspire with others to deceive my feelings? First telling me that you are dead, making me live
through two years of hell, then telling me that you went abroad. I went looking for you all over

people?”

BaiLouYin’s cold demeanor concealed the pain in his heart. “I never conspired with other people

watched GuHai purposefully stride toward him with his fist raised stretching forward, but
BaiLuoYin immediately blocked him.

“President Gu, I’m currently a Major, even if you are strong, you might not be my opponent.
Don’t humiliate yourself.”

“Really?” GuHai’s eyes looking fiercely. “I want to see the little slut that was moaning on my
dick from back then, how strong-willed you are now!”

GuHai’s words are that of sharp cutting blades. After speaking, he immediately punched
BaiLouYin. A punch so strong and fierce that there was a circle of blood accumulating on his
knuckles. Shortly after, there is a lot of commotion in the restroom, the sounds of flowing water
splashing on the sink, the sounds of bodies hitting and thrashing on the door, the sounds of loud
punches and bones clashing. For a short while, the thunderous noise exploded out the bathroom.

LiuChong saw that BaiLouYin is safe and sound, so he felt relieved to walk in. His hands carried
a bag of things. He put it on the table and cautiously said, “Major, I saw that you didn’t eat much
these days, so I brought some dumplings from the outside for you. It’s still hot so eat it while it’s
still hot.”

“Didn’t you have a mission today?” BaiLouYin asked.

LiuChong was ill at eased and explained, “Yes, I just got back but I was afraid that you didn’t

initiative to corroborate peacefully. Why did you not agree? You are not afraid to hurt him?”

LiuChong was unable to understand what BaiLuoYin had just thrown out so he walked out of the
research room.

Three days later, BaiLuoYin went to the Director to report on the project progress.

“These are the list of people that have been selected as part of the research team. These are the
selected cooperative enterprises. Included are the agreed terms and conditions. If you don’t have
any comments, I will send someone over to sign the contract.”

The Director carefully read the information, locking his brows. To tell the truth, BaiLuoYin was
very nervous. Some of the selected companies do have certain risks, and this being his first time
to take over such a large project, he is a bit uncertain.

Unexpectedly, after the director finished reading all the information, he extremely praised
BaiLuoYin.

“Very good, the plan is very thorough, very well-organized. Areas that needed to be agreed has

Is the hiring conditions so harsh that even cross-dressing men are also mixed in here?

This beauty’s mind is especially sharp, immediately guessing what BaiLuoYin is thinking.

The huge conference hall only has two remaining people, BaiLuoYin and GuHai.

“Just now, that is not a woman, but a transsexual.” GuHai stated casually.

BaiLuoYin casted a look of admiration at GuHai, “Your taste is getting heavier.”

“Before you came, I was thinking, how should I entertain you and not come off as discourteous?
Originally, I wanted to arrange a few beautiful women for you, but then I felt that it was
inappropriate. You have been abstaining in the military for so long, if you suddenly see all these
beauties, will you be able endure? So, I pulled back and decided to give you an appetizer first to
let your stomach adapt slowly.”

BaiLuoYin’s black and bright eyes flashed, his mouth grinning.

“Thank you then!”

GuHai smiled happily, “Why are you looking for me?”

BaiLuoYin went directly to the subject, “The cooperation for the project.”

GuHai lit a cigarette and started smoking silently.

So, the dialogue from two days before came back, but this time it is GuHai making it difficult.
BaiLuoYin patiently explained the various benefits for cooperating in this project.

fighting for it. If you don’t want it, someone will soon replace you.”

GuHai nodded his head, “This, I know.”

BaiLuoYin’s heart cursed, if you know, then why not accept? BaiLuoYin adjusted his tone, very
calmly toward GuHai and said, “you should really reconsider.”

“You guys are the ones that should to consider.” GuHai spread his hand, “I never said to stop
cooperation, just as long as you agree to raise the price, I will immediately sign the contract.”

BaiLuoYin’s face hardened, “The price is here, if agree, then sign it. If you don’t agree, then just
let it go at that.”
GuHai looked straight at BaiLuoYin. Is it that hard for you to concede?

BaiLuoYin’s face turned black as he grabbed onto GuHai’s tie.

“GuHai, you’re doing this on purpose, right?”

“You’re right, from the beginning, this was deliberate” GuHai hooked his arm around
BaiLuoYin’s neck, “Can’t you tell?”

BaiLuoYin’s elbows ruthlessly sprained toward GuHai’s stomach. Angrily “GuHai, you need not
take advantage of somebody’s weakness! Why do I work with you, you know in your heart. Stop
giving me this bullshit! Stop pretending! Today I will say this, change it back to the original
price, not a hair more. If you sign it, there will be a lot of continued contact between us. If you
don’t, I will pretend not to know you!”

A fresh wind from BaiLuoYin’s mouth went directly into GuHai’s heart.

“Had you said these delighted words earlier, we wouldn’t have wasted so much time?” GuHai
patted the back of BaiLuoYin’s head, changing from the look of a malicious businessman into
that of a kindly next door brother.

BaiLuoYin secretly grinded his teeth, for the country’s great restoration, in order to live and
work for the people, I will tolerate this!

GuHai smoked his cigarette and blew it toward BaiLuoYin’s face. The sound mixed in with the
coolness in the air. “So…. were the dumplings from the other day delicious?”

Addicted 2: Chapter 10 – Visiting Someone’s

Marriage House
BaiLouYin coldly hummed, “Never ate such good dumplings.”

GuHai’s deep eyes focused intently on the side of his face. The healthy, tough lines on his face is
as smooth as a painting, the familiar facial features outline is more mature and handsome. The
only thing that has not changed is that stubborn mouth. Eight years is like any day. A touch of
faded red pushed to the strong remembrance of his youth, adding a layer of time precipitating the
awe-inspiring look blending in with the atmosphere.

GuHai really want to take a bite on his face to see what flavor it has changed to from the
sweetness of eight years ago.

Cigarettes mingled with GuHai’s breath filled the room. The surrounding air suddenly turned
hot. BaiLouYin’s head subconsciously lowered causing GuHai to touch the empty air.

“I’m leaving.” BaiLouYin stood up.

GuHai grabbed his arm and smiled, “Today, I invite you to dinner.”

“No need.” said BaiLouYin, quietly removing GuHai’s warm hand. “It’s not like we’re doing
trades so you don’t need to calculate so clearly.”

“It’s better to calculate clearly between brothers, let alone we’re not real brothers.”

BaiLouYin stiffened his neck, “Today, I have…”

“You don’t want to take a look at my place?” GuHai interrupted BaiLouYin’s refusal.

BaiLouYin’s face changed a little, half-joking half-seriously look at GuHai and asked, “Did you
want me to see your residence or your marriage home?”

“Is there a difference?” GuHai quietly responded.

BaiLouYin’s heart dropped, “There’s really no difference, let’s go.”

GuHai’s new house is in the West City, over 100 square meters. It is small compared to his other
houses, but was enough for one person to live. The largest space was the gym, with only one
bedroom. GuHai purposely gave BaiLouYin a tour. Sure enough, it was much neater than
BaiLouYin’s room. BaiLouYin subconsciously glanced at the bed twice and found that the there
are two sets of blankets and pillows.

“When are you getting married?” asked BaiLouYin.

Not hearing a response, BaiLouYin turned and noticed that GuHai is no longer behind him.

He went to the study and saw that GuHai’s computer is on. His screensaver is flashing a picture
of two people at the seaside. BaiLouYin suddenly look stunned. His heart felt like something is
pulling it, unable to explain this feeling. He shook the mouse trying to avoid the photo but in the
end, he realized that both of the desktop picture and screensaver is of the two of them (this is the
beachside picture taken in Qingdao as they were watching the sunrise).

BaiLouYin sat in front of the computer in a trance, and with unexplained reasons1, he replaced
the desktop background and screensaver.

BaiLouYin leaned against the kitchen’s door, smoking a cigarette and quietly watch GuHai’s
busy figure.

He still looked the same as before, with a solemn and sharp appearance and a gentle and
delicate heart, sometimes he’s fierce with a hint of treachery, and occasionally straightforward
and open-minded. He could treat the people he despises ruthlessly, but he could also treat his
lover with the most tenderly loving care. Such a man, so majestic, with a successful career, a
caring lover……is every woman’s dream of a prince charming.

He also once, completely belonged only to me.

GuHai put the food in the pot, the cooking sounds accompanied by his skilled actions.

BaiLouYin suddenly said, “Best quality Mr. Perfect.”

BaiLouYin’s heart full of hot blood was chilled by this downpour of cold water.

Looking at the steaming dumplings, BaiLouYin could not help but pick one up. He thought it
was eggplant stuffed zucchini but after one bite, it turned out to be fennel pork. BaiLouYin was
disappointed, but he did not show it. He merely chewed and swallowed it.

GuHai picked up a dumpling from the other plate and gave it to BaiLouYin. BaiLouYin bite it
and this one turned out to be eggplant stuffed zucchini. His eyes delighted; he could not wait to
take another bite. The flavor surrounding his mouth was so savory, inside had shrimp, full of
flavor, he haven’t had this dumpling in seven or eight years.

BaiLouYin wanted to get another one after eating but once he stuck his chopsticks out, he
suddenly paused.

How can he get more?!

Picking on the fennel dumpling, but don’t like it! Love to eat the eggplant stuffed zucchini
dumpling but can’t eat it. If he chose the eggplant dumpling and not the fennel cake dumpling,
then his pretense will be revealed.

Damn, setting up this trap by cooking me a meal.

In the end, BaiLouYin had an idea. Anyways, he has to eat the eggplant stuff zucchini dumpling.
As for the fennel one, it will just be a side dish. Finally, he picked one from the left and then one
from the right so both plates won’t be left out.

After eating, GuHai went to wash the dishes. BaiLouYin sat in the living room waiting for him.
By the time GuHai finished cleaning, BaiLouYin had already fallen asleep on the sofa.

GuHai walked quietly to BaiLouYin’s side. He bent down and looked at him closely. Suddenly,
he has this illusion. He felt that they were still in their house from eight years ago. They are still
each other from eight years ago. This unfamiliar dress up they are in is only for role-playing.
They are merely playing a game. They have always been together.

BaiLouYin is usually very alert when he is sleeping in the dorm. But here, he doesn’t know if it
was because the room is too warm or what, but he slept very deeply. He was not even aware
when someone touched him.

GuHai kneeled down and gently touched BaiLouYin’s hands.

“Is there an urgent mission?”

“Yes, there’s an urgent matter,” said BaiLouYin while putting on his shoes.

While talking, BaiLouYin had already worn his shoes. He left without saying goodbye. The
whole series of action were very swift, less than thirty seconds. BaiLouYin’s figure disappeared
in the dark night. GuHai remembered that in the past when he tried to wake BaiLouYin up, from
opening his eyes to sitting up would take at least ten minutes. And now, from sleeping to fully
alert is just a mere ten seconds.

What kind of training could cause a person’s living habits to change so entirely?

And who in this eight years’ time, has thoroughly helped me care for him?

BaiLouYin rushed to the military hospital. LiuChong was temporarily out of danger.

“What happened?” asked BaiLouYin.

The teammates who trained with LiuChong said, “When we were training this afternoon, his
aircraft experienced special circumstances. He was forced to parachute but the elevation is not
high enough so he fell onto a heap of rubble on the hillside. Fortunately, the local villagers
promptly found him and called the police, or else he would be dead now.”

BaiLouYin’s expression was serious, “What is his condition now?”

“Multiple fractures, broken jaw, fortunately, no damage to the brain, but he lost a lot of blood
and his body is very weak. He’s still in a coma right now. Major, do you want to go in and see?”

BaiLouYin faintly said. “No, I’ll see him when he gets better.”

After finished speaking, BaiLouYin turned and left the ward with a heavy heart. He never told
anyone that he is now, extremely afraid of blood. Not to mention going into the ward to visit
patients, but just standing in the hallway seeing the flashing lights from the emergency room will
