Conclusion

In the 2000s Iran began to enrich its uranium as a enrichment facility was identified by
the US using through their satellite. In 2003 the International Atomic Energy Agency
launched an investigation of Iran which was aimed to prevent the development of
possible nuclear weapon. Israel was the country which was highly alarmed with this
situation because the idea of Iran possessing a nuclear weapon was fearful enough for
them. Israel began to lobby the US senate in order to put sanctions and prevent Iran
from developing a nuclear weapon. However when sanctions are placed, Iran
accelerated its program for which EU and US negotiated with Iran to shut down its
nuclear weapons program in return they would open up the country for trade which
became the Iran nuclear deal of 2015. However Israeli prime minister Benjamin
Netanyahu was not happy about it and he confronted US president Obama on it. In
conclusion, Iran’s main objective against Israel is to free the Palestinians from Israeli
occupation and even undo the Israeli state. Israel’s objective is to bring down the
current Islamic government so and replace it with a moderate and liberal government
which might not be an existential threat for Israel.
