1. Working with ExamVue

The user interface of ExamVue is split into several windows such as Login, Register,
Exam, Review and Configuration window.

1) Insert the USB dongle(License) key to the PC


2) Starting the program

- Double-click ExamVue shortcut ( ) on the background.

After starting the program, a login request appears.

3) Login

- Select ID and input PWD.


- Click OK button

NOTE:

Admin: Access the configuration mode.


Guest: No access the configuration mode.
SpecificUser: User operator but no access to configuration mode.

After login, the program goes directly to Register window.

4) Registering the patient in Register window

- Input Patient information manually such as ID, Name and Sex.


- Select the Species (Dog/Equine/Cat/Etc)
- Select the area of the selected Species on the Pictogram and.
- Click the Body Part and Projection.
- Click Exam button to start the exam.

Exam

After clicking the Exam button, the program changes automatically into the Exam
window.

5) Examining the study of Patient in Exam window

- Change the X-ray condition and select the X-ray technique mode if the generator is
connected.(KVp / mA /ms /mAs)

NOTE:

This function is only activated when the generator is connected.


It’s only compatible with below generator:
CPI CMP200DR, POSKOM PXR Series

- Press and hold the exposure switch of the x-ray generator.

- Check if the image is stored successfully.


- Use various tool function such as Rotation, R, L marker, TEXT, Crop, Zoom, Magnify
glasses and Fit window to diagnosis the acquired image
- After completing the exam, click the Close Study button.
If you want to add new study in Exam mode, click the Add study button.

6) Reviewing the images of patient examined in Review window

- Click Review menu button on the top to go to the Review window.


- Click Tap button of Database to search the patient examined.
- Input or select some search conditions.
- Click Search button
Then, the Patients list with each images is displayed.

7) Using the tool functions in Tools box

Use the below tool functions to diagnosis more about the selected image.

- Layout: 1x1 layout. 2x1 layout, 2x2 layout, user layout


- Zoom & ROI: Panning, Fit Image, Zoom, Magnify glasses, Crop, Real Size(1:1)
- Adjust Image: RESET, CW, CCW, H flip, V flip, Invert
- Annotation: CLEAR, R, L, MARK, TEXT, Length Measurement, Angle
- ETC: RAW, WL, Line Profile, Histogram, Stitching, DICOM Header Info

8) Using the Image Processing

Use the function of Image Processing if you need to change or enhance the viewing
image.

 To change the value of each factor of Image process:

- Change the value of the Contrast, the Edge and the Image Latitude.
- Click Process button.
If you want to restore the values as previous status, click the Init.Parameter button.

 To change the parameter file:

- Click the browser button if you want to apply the other parameter file provided.
- Click Process button.

 To restore the image as original DIOCM image:

- Click Cancel button.

9) Changing the configuration of ExamVue in Configure window

- Click Config button on the top menu.


Change or input some information at each of menu as below:

 Information
 Display
 DICOM
 Body Part Management
 Exam Setting
 Code Matching
 Utility (Not supported yet)

NOTE:

Please refer to the ExamVue User Manual

- Click Save button if done the work.


- Restart the ExamVue.
